Cabana on Family Beach or Serenity Bay?

Higher nos.

Hi. Looking at the picture, is it correct that the last cabana shown on the left-hand side is at Serenity Bay and it is cabana number 25?
Then, each cabana next to it is one digit lower? From cabana 21-19, it looks like the cabanas are facing more toward the ship, where as
25-22 look like they are just facing the ocean. Am I correct? If so, I think I need to ask for Cabana 25 and go down from there in my request.
Would you agree?

No, this photo shows only higher-number Family Beach cabanas. The Serenity Bay cabanas (#22-25) are not shown in this picture. They are on a totally different beach.

THANK YOU. I knew it looked like I could see the ocean from the cabanas. gggrrrr.

What would happen, well, where would I be, if I had the last cabana on the left-hand side of the family beach although I REALLY don't want to be there.

I am traveling without my family and just my mom and I in concierge so I think there is a good shot of my securing a cabana. We are sailing September 14 so don't think there will be too many kids but trying to just pretend adult only LOL We are also just doing two nights at Remys and two nights at Palo.

Anyway, I want a cabana where I can lay on the lounger, sitting up reading and still be able to see the ocean.
Is Family Beach really my only option? I'm an experienced cruiser but only have sailed on DCL three times (fourth in September) and have never been on Serenity Bay.

I have tried to look for pictures that have been posted by others that have been in the cabanas on Serenity Bay looking out to the water, but I cannot find any on here. I'm giving myself a headache LOL

THANK YOU.

I have pictures from the deck of cabana #25 at home. I will post one later today.

Thank you so much! That would be very kind of you!

When we were on CC over NYE, we had our chairs on the Family Beach right next to the Family Beach Cabanas. Only the people that had the cabanas
could be in this area, I believe that is correct. But, looking at Serenity Bay, they do not have their own little part of the beach, is that correct?

I do not see any chairs or loungers on the sand in front of the cabanas. If I wanted to sit in the water in a chair, I would take down my
own lounger or chair that is in my cabana, is that correct? The walk to the water looks much shorter than Serenity Bay (meaning we are closer to the
water). I don't care but my mother will care if it too long a walk. What I really care about and I know she would too would be if we can
see the water sitting on an upright lounger on the "deck" of the cabana.

Where would I be if I was in the last cabana shown on the left-hand side. Would it be private since not "connected" on that side to the Family Beach?
What number would that cabana be if I requested it?

I really appreciate your giving me more information on Cabana 25 on SB as well as posting the picture. What would you do? There wouldn't be any
question if I was sailing at a different time of year but September 14, I can't see being too many kids since Labor Day is the week before?

Thank you so much!

We have never stayed in the Family Beach cabanas, so I can't help you with the comparison.

The Serenity Bay cabanas do not have a private beach. The strip of beach between the cabanas and the water can be used by any adult, but it is usually very sparsely populated.

Do you know what the last cabana is on the Family Beach. The one on the left of the picture that I thought was No. 25 on SB?
I think I like that cabana.

That large cabana is #21. It's only available to large groups and must be privately arranged through calling DCL. The next one to the right of it is #20.

We have SB cabana 24 for our May 14th cruise and if you search YouTube, there is a video that shows the inside/outside/beach access. There may be a video for others, I just didn't have the need to look.

Here are pics of/from cabana #25. It is great because it set a bit further away from the other cabanas, which gives you more privacy.

Thank you. Have you done both cabanas on SB and FB? Do you think cabana 20 would be better than cabana 25 or cabana 25 on SB view wise? Do you think historically there are many kids sailing September 14 where I would have to worry about lots of kids on FB? Does the large cabana get sold out, number 21, where I would have to worry about a large loud group?

we are in 15 for may 14th cruise and i found out there is a wedding party in all the higher numbers so yes, i would think you would have to chance having people down that way. i would think SB would be better

Thank you. I guess you are right. Id be annoyed if we were on the FB where we really didnt even need to be and then have a large party next to us.

Thank you all so much and hank you very very much artnerds. Ill request number 25 and then 24 and so on, would that be what I want? Lol.

Cashe, thank you for letting me know about the wedding parties. I greatly appreciate it!! Also I "see" you on the concierge thread. When did you send the email to request the canana? At exactly midnight?

Any of the adult cabanas are great. 25 has the most privacy, in my opinion. 22 is closer to the tram stop and food, but it's still a pretty good walk because you have to walk past the massage cabanas. Don't forget that with all of them, you only need to push the button in your cabana and the attendant will come with a golf cart to take you wherever you want to go.

yes, i had it already drafted with lots of other requests

It was very quiet both times we had a Family Beach cabana. It didn't get much busier than this.
