I don't have pictures, but things I remember that aren't there anymore...
1. The awesome game room at the Contemporary Hotel. With a shooting range and a wall of pinball machines (late 1970's).
2. The Christmas shows they used to do at the Contemporary. (early 1990's) It was family style dinner with all the charterers doing a big stage show...they moved it to
3. The stage show in Tomorrowland. The stage where there is now a wall that Buzz stands in front of used to have great stage with shows and local bands, etc.
4. The old song at The Carousal of Progress...now is the time...now is the best time....now is the best time of your life.....
5. at EPCOT all the games you used to be able to play...build your own roller coaster on a touch screen with a beaver as your guide, build the American Flag
6. Of course, Horizons, World of Motion and World of Life pavilions at EPCOT, all , the pictures really bring me back! I also miss the more serious World of Energy, although Ellen is pretty entertaining!!
7. The little kiosks where you first bought your tickets for rides, then later they sold film at them.
8. Your passes that you had to go get your picture taken in the backroom and they laminated it to your pass.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their pictures, they bring back so many wonderful memories. If you have pictures of any of the stuff above, please post time, I would love to see them!!

Thank you!

The Caribbean Arcade’s name changed to Caverna de los Piratas in 1979. The following year it closed, underwent a renovation and opened as Lafitte’s Portrait Deck. Under this name, the venue allowed guests to don pirate outfits and pose alongside one of two sculpted pirate figures (adapted directly from Auction Scene figure in the nearby ride) for a photograph. One was the Auctioneer standing at a ship’s wheel, the other was the pirate who holds the redhead’s rope sitting atop a pile of treasure. In the late 1980′s the operation was licensed to the PhotoToons company, and the pirates were removed. From that point on guests in pirate garb mugged by themselves and Disney characters were added to the photographs when printed.

I remember this!! I was a squirt, maybe 5? And we dressed up like Pirates and had our pictures taken. Mickey and Minnie were magically in the picture! I wonder if my mom still has it.
