Cruise Meet - FANTASY 8/1/15 - Let the planning begin!

Hi,
This is my family's first Disney cruise and we are more than excited. Our family includes my husband, DD 17, DD 14, DD 11, and me. We were wondering how we get ourselves included in the Fish Extenders. We have read about it on many forums and it sounds like such a fun opportunity to meet people before and on our cruise! :)::MinnieMo

Excited for yet another cruise. Looking to join a FE group. Please let me know how to get added to the list.

Cruising with DH, DS (12), DD (10), FIL, & MIL!

Disney Dream (2011)
Disney Fantasy (2013)
Disney Wonder (2014)

This is our 3rd Disney Cruise but our first 7-night though. We are so excited!!!! It will be me and my DH, my DS Blake will be celebrating his 17th birthday August 4th, and my 11 YO DD. Does anyone know if a FB page for our cruise date has been made yet?

Has anyone decided which excursions they are doing? I am having a hard time deciding based on what our gang likes to do.

Our family of 5 has two girls 6 and 10 from southern California. We are ready to have fun and meet new friends. We would also like to sign up for fish extender. We are located on deck 10.

I have a 10 year old daughter too! We are on deck 8. Haven't found info for the FE yet. Hopefully something gets posted soon. Let me know if you find something about it. thanks. Looking forward to the cruise!

My husband and I are super excited to take our 3 yearold (at time of sail) on the cruise. I would love to know more about the Disnery Fish extenders. I am in the progress of booking the cruise now for August 1-8. Any tips for s newbie? Any tips on the travel agent with the best perks? So far the best one I have found is $250 on board credit. Any tips on which room is the best...trying to decide if a veranda is necessary. My husband and I thought that we would be stuck in the room when he goes to sleep. The Disney personnel on the phone assured me that he would do great in the kids club area. What do they do when kids want to go to sleep? Is that when they call you on the wave phone? Need advice:)

Thanks inadvance.:goodvibes:cool1::cheer2:pixiedust:

We have been on 3 Disney cruises. We have had a veranda and large window. The veranda is nice (not necessary, but nice option to have) to have for those times you are resting in the room, early morning, and evenings. It's a nice quiet place to sit and watch the ocean pass by. The kids clubs are great. I haven't had to deal with nap times with kids while on our cruises, but I'm sure they would call you when it's time. Or maybe they have a place for them to rest in there. Good luck.

This is my husband and I's 14th cruise. We have brought our grandchildren on about 10 of them. We are interested in joining the fish extenders group. This cruise it will be my husband and i, my granddaughter (age 14) and my grandson (age 11).

We are booked for the 8/1 sailing! Not be to cruising but this is our first Disney cruise. We are very excited! We will have two girls with us, or daughter and niece. We would love to participate in the FE's :-) Can't wait to see more people join this discussion!

Hello, All! My DD(16) and I are super excited to finally be back on another Disney ship. This will be our third Disney cruise and first time on the Fantasy.

Well... I am nervously about to volunteer to organize the FE Exchange. :scared: I have a friend who organized the last two I was a part of, and I think we can make it fun and not stressful. If you plan on participating, please send me a PM. I don't want to inadvertently miss someone who posts on this thread.

If everyone is okay with me organizing things, here is some information for you:

FISH EXTENDER EXCHANGE
We will keep it fun and simple. There won't be a theme or assigned delivery days to deal with. It will be up to you whether you want to do one gift per cabin or individual gifts for everyone in each cabin. The closer the date of the cruise, the more participants we'll begin to see. The number can grow pretty quickly. So, I would like to know upfront how many cabins you are comfortable exchanging with so I can coordinate the groups accordingly. I'd like to know your comfort level ahead of time. It will make setting up the exchange groups much easier, and you will have a more positive experience.

To give everyone time to prepare, the deadline to join the FE Exchange will be SATURDAY, JULY 4, 2015. By Monday, July 6, I will send Private Messages to all participants with all the details of your FE group. This will give everyone a month before the cruise to prepare.

To join the FE Exchange, please send me a "Private Message" with the following information:
*Cabin Number
*Names of everyone in your cabin
*Ages of children
*Any allergy considerations
*The size of the FE group you want to be in: No more than 20, No more than 40, No more than 60, or Sky's the Limit

If you are new to the DIS Boards:
(FYI: You will need to make ten posts before you can send a Private Message)
*Easiest way to send a “Private Message”:
-Click the recipient's name (in blue font) in the little box on the left side of one of their posts
-Click on “Start a Conversation” (in white font)
-Enter a “Conversation Title”
-Under the row of icons, type your message
-Click “Start a Conversation” under your message to send it

For some reason it is not letting me private message you.. is there another way to do it? Or maybe i didn't do it right..?

Has anyone decided which excursions they are doing? I am having a hard time deciding based on what our gang likes to do.

I'm still trying to decide. We'll probably do a basic tour of the islands. I like the "Skyride to Paradise Point" in St. Thomas. I'm also thinking about the Coral World Ocean Park & Scenic Drive. Haven't quite decided for St. Maarten. I signed up to rent a bicycle on Castaway Cay on my last cruise, but my back went out on me, and I did good just to walk around. I'm determined to ride that bike this time! :moped:

When someone else decides they are going to join in on the fun please PM me! That way I will know we have others to chat with....until then I will plan on ZERO lines for the Aquaduck! SOUNDS LIKE FUN TO ME!!!

We will be right there with you on the Aquaduck! Ready to rock 'n roll on the high seas!
