Pre-pay photo package

Can someone clarify for me, I would like to pre-purchase the all prints and cd package, based on what I'm seeing on my cruise photo's, this package is $395. I haven't cruised on DCL in 2 years, but this was the price at the time when I cruised. Have the prices in shutters went up (I'm assuming they have, as everything else has). Can someone please tell me how much the cd and all prints package is on a 7-day cruise?

That's the correct price. It's $295 for just the CD and $395 for CD and prints.

The length of cruise CD cost varies with length of cruise. The prices I've seen are (for pre-cruise purchase/onboard cost):
7 night $295.95/$100.00 to add prints/$349.95, $100.00 to add prints

Individual prices are:
8X10 - $20.95
6X8 - $14.95

Or did you mean "how much are packages of PRINTS only?"

The packages are 6 ($99.95), 10 ($149.95), 15 ($199.95), and 20 ($249.95) photos. Different length cruises have different options. You can also purchase an all prints package (all your photos printed) for the same cost as the length of cruise CD.

The CD has all your photos taken by the Shutters photographers during your cruise. Not really a video. A file of a lot of photos.

Is this done like Photopass at WDW - where they give you a card or bracelet or something to scan after they take your pics?

And do they take a LOT of pics? I'm still debating on pre-ordering or not!

No, not like PhotoPass. It's regular photographers, with set up locations. You scan your KTTW card just so the computer knows what folder to put your photos in at Shutters. You go to a photo location, hand your KTTW card to the CM assisting so they can swipe it, then have your photo taken. Later that day (if it's early in the day) or the next day you go to Shutters and look up your folder to see your photos.

You can hit up as many photo locations as you wish, as many times as you are willing to stand in line. I've read where some groups have had upwards of 200 photos taken during a cruise.

If you purchase one of the smaller packages (5, 10, 20, etc) you can either get those photos as printed photos, OR you can choose the CD option. In that case, you receive the full CD, with an option to "unlock" your selected number of photos once home. I'll just point out that there are often complaints about doing this, as the thumbnails you see on the CD are quite small and you often can't distinguish between two (or more) photos that are similar which one is the "best".

I'm also really stuck on this, if we was taking the kids I'd totally do the big xs photo print package, however it's just dh and me for our first cruise,and as much as I love pics that's alot of money,when we also want the MM for the parks.
Is their a package where you can choose the cd and say 5 print?
As I know I'll want to have the original pics too,

If you want some prints (not all) from the CD, you could just buy one of the small packages (usually 10 prints), but that costs more than just adding the prints for the full CD ($149.95 vs $100).

In the past (just 2 of us, also), when we've traveled with others, we usually just buy a 10 print package and we select 10 pictures between all of us. But when it's just us, recently, we've only been getting one picture on our cruises.

You can buy the package before you sail (and get the small price break) and then change your mind during the trip and get all your money back.

I believe the only item that has the "buy pre-cruise for discount" option is the full CD.

We didn't do the pre-pay package as we had done the memory maker for the parks. However I regret not doing it, we were only on a 4 night cruise but ended up spending $199 for 15 prints which was more then the pre-pay for our cruise (was $194 for all prints).
