Wonder 10/01/2015 3-night Baja

Having just recently returned from the 15-night through the Panama on the Disney Wonder we are very excited that Disney is coming back to the West Coast. We have booked both the October 1st 3-night and October 4th 5-night.

We would like to sign-up for a Fish Extended group on the 3-night.

Just realized we might be on a Halloween Cruise. At least this year all cruises between September 26, 2014 - October 31, 2014 are considered Halloween cruises. Check it out at: http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/holiday-cruises/halloween/ Perhaps an extra bonus I wasn't even aware of.

Hi all. We live in Orange County and this will be our 4th cruise, as soon as we book it next month. My DH wants to make it to gold faster and figured a quick one out of SD would be perfect. And no airfare to Orlando! So excited to hear that this will be a Halloween cruise.
We did the Mexican Riviera on the Magic in August 2008, the Western Caribbean on the Fantasy in August 2014, and we are booked for Alaska on the Wonder in August 2015.
My daughter will be 9 on the cruise. She made friends on our last cruise and has been emailing them since we got off. She would love to do that again.

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Many Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.

Has anyone here done a cruise with a kiddo with a food allergy? I have read about forms I need to send in and what to tell the head waiter, but is there anything else I should know? Will they allow our daughter to carry her own epi pen or keep it close in the oceaneers club? She'll be 6. She has a peanut allergy.

Yep. DCL is great about it. Let them know before you go, make sure it's noted in your profile. The head waiter will come and talk to you at your first meal and discuss options. They'll make delicious meals for your child. They have a whole separate kitchen for cooking for people with allergies.

Yep! PM me cabin #s, and names and ages (kids only) of participants. And let me know if there are any allergies we need to take into account.

I also have a daughter who will be 9 when we cruise. Would your daughter like to be email pen pals before the cruise so they know each other when they're in the clubs?

If you look five posts up from this one, (#26), you'll see where I had said to PM me if you want to be in the FE. Not sure how "no one seems to be coming forward."

I don't like to put the actual information on the thread, because it's a public forum, and I'm personally not comfortable asking people to put their room numbers and their childrens' names and ages out there for anyone to see.

I'm compiling the list, and I'll cut it off on August 1st, in order to give people time to make or buy their stuff. I'll send out a list via PM to everyone who asked to participate.

If you want in, please send me via PM the names and cabin #'s of all participants, as well as any allergies, and the ages of any children. You're welcome to include favorite characters if you like as well, which I will include on the list I send to participants.
