I've started doing some research on Vancouver and wanted to share/save some as they may be helpful for others

We're so excited. Booked our trip yesterday.

Myself, my husband, our three girls (H, 11, D, 10, and baby girl, 4m).

We have already started searching out blogs and making notes about things we want to try and do. Definitely joining up on a fish extender swap!

We are booked! Me, DD (6), DD (5 just before the cruise) and my parents. My DH might join us as well - he's booked but whether he can make it or not will depend on his job.

I am besides myself with joy. How can it get much better? Alaska has been my dream trip for a long time, and now I get to share it with my parents for whom this will be the first cruise ever.

DH and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on this cruise. We figured that since it was swelteringly hot on our wedding day, going to Alaska for a "big" anniversary celebration was a) overdue and b) very appropriate.

We also have two teenage DS, but they will be staying home this trip. We get to enjoy Mickey and the crew on our own!

Just now booked. It will be me, my dw, dd(14), and ds(11). This will be our 3rd Disney cruise, first to Alaska. Is there a facebook page or fish extender list yet?? We are most definitely interested!

We were originally booked on June 15, but due to some scheduling conflicts we had to change.


We will be joined by some friends who are going to be booking this week. It will be their first Disney Cruise, but they are also very interested and curious about FE.

Where is everyone planning to stay pre cruise? I think we are going to do Vancouver and try to stay at the pan pacific.

We're looking at flying in on Saturday and poking around Vancouver Sunday (it also gives us an extra day to get there in case of weather delays). Pan Pacific just seems like it will be the least stressful option for checking in on cruise day (and - to be honest - the views are *incredible* from what I've seen...).

This is our first Disney cruise and I read I need to register for the fish extender. How do I do that? We depart on Monday.

Has anyone booked pre cruise hotels yet? I don't think the pan pacific has released the rooms yet.

Hi all! We are booked for Alaska July 20, 2015 too! This will be our 3rd DCL cruise, first time to Alaska and first time on the Wonder. We actually booked in January and have since found out that we have a baby on the way, so there is a small possibility we may have to change dates, but at this point, we are pretty confident we will be able to make this cruise. Our group consists of myself (DW), my husband (DH), my mother (DMIL), DD who will be 7 at time of cruise, and baby DD who will be roughly 6 months. We would love to join the FE group if one is set up. I will also check out the Facebook page y'all set up.

Has anyone in the group taken the Alaskan cruise before?

Any luck on this? I have been trying to watch as well and so far nothing. I read on a different post that the women's World Cup games may be here next summer which could impact rooms? I hope not.

We have not been to Alaska before but we have been on the Disney cruises before. Congratulations on the baby - how exciting.

Hi, I'm Karen and my family and I just booked our first ever Alaskan cruise for next summer with all of you. The cruise is to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday. We will be traveling with my mother Carolyn, my brother Warren (45 at cruise time), me (47 at cruise time) and my daughter Sarah (14 at cruise time). This is my 3rd cruise and my daughter's 2nd. We cruised on the Fantasy in August 2014 to the Eastern Caribbean and LOVED it!!! Needless to say, we convinced the rest of the family that we HAD to cruise on Disney in Alaska. We had an awesome Facebook group for our August cruise (and we are still all active in the group) and loved doing the FE's for our first Disney cruise. As long as the groups are too big (we had 91 people in our FE), we will consider participating again - hopefully with a smaller group!

My teen can't wait to spend time in the Vibe, so if you have a teen, let me know. She made tons of friends before our last cruise on Instagram with other teens who were also on the cruise and when they first met, it was instant friendship. Worked out great!
