~ Sew Sweet 16 ~I’m packing your angry eyes just in case~Aug 2014~ BFF' bag 8/20!!!!

OK, I made it here :rotfl:, I skimmed, and will try to keep up from here on in! Great pics of your girls and love the story of you and your BFF! :goodvibes
Queenie :lovestruc

You are really making me want to make a couple shirts for our trip. I do have a Merida and evil Queen one. But most of my stuff is store bought. Maybe I will set up my back up machine and do a couple.

Love the Alice and Mad Hatter bags.

I also love that picture of Josh and you.

I had been planning a September trip since the kids have a 4 day weekend but G was upset he wasn't going so when I was playing yesterday and found a car and nonstop Jet blue flights for times we like. I had a change of plans.

I think you should Chiara! It's so much fun! And look at that awesome new body you're rockin'!!! WHOOT!

Thank you!

I am glad you found some dates/flights and a car that worked so all of you could go!

Those are great bags! You are so very talented!!!

The first Donald outfit is my fav, but this Minnie outfit is a close second! So much fun!!

Thank you! LOL - Donald is my absolute favorite, but quite honestly - I am really having a fondness for red dots lately - and I really like the Minnie outfit I am planning to post today.

I love your Minnie bag. The gussets really make it look special. I agree that you could use that bag for everyday real life.

Thank you - even though it's hard to see - I do really love the gussets too, the whole bag turned out really awesome, and I cannot wait to carry it.

Love the bag and the Minnie outfit. You will be dressed to the "nines" at the park!

All of you are very supportive on this thread so I thought I would pose my dilemma to all of you for advice. (So not trying to high jack.) I just found out during dropping off my oldest son for band camp this morning, that the long weekend trip we have planned for Disney is Homecoming week. I had asked the band directors in the Spring and they said nothing was going on that weekend. :confused3

The "excuse" that I was using to get my non-Disney loving DH to go was that it was his relatives that were getting married, plus I have always wanted to go a Disney wedding. :lovestruc Now, I am not sure what to do, cancel the whole thing? :sad2: I don't want AJ to miss those events at school, and last year he had a great time and even was elected to Court plus it counts as part of his grade. I really don't want him to screw up his band grade as he is a honor student and usually get good grades.

Ooooh. My DH just came in from chit chatting with the neighbors and they just offered to take him for the week as 2 of 3 of their sons are at college and their other son is a year older than AJ. They said they had two empty bedrooms and somebody still at home who has they same type of after school activity schedule. Wasn't that generous of them? We have known them for years and they are my school back up folks as we have no family in the state, so we would trust them to take care of our son like their own.

Can I be a bad DM and have us go without him (if he wants to stay home)?

Any thoughts would be welcome? It is just that this would be my only vacation for the year and I love my Disney trips, but thinking about it being my only break for the year is selfish.

Thanks,
Lisa

Thanks...

Well, if it were me and I trusted the people who were watching my kids, then I would let them stay. Especially since he is at an age where he can make the decision for himself. It will be a great trip and both of you will have good memories from different experiences. :wizard:

Okay, I am dying to know, how did you get a purple MagicBand? After I saw your purple one, I went online to switch our selections to purple, but I don't have purple as an option still.

I know the picture makes it look purple because of the lighting - but it's actually a pink MB... People on FB thought the same thing - I should have mentioned that here too, because I used the same picture. Sorry about that.

Love the Minnie outfit! Like how you used glittery fabric for the appliqué on your dress! Bag is perfect too! And I love the Alice bag and the brightness of the mad hatter bag!

On your MBs- I would do more than 2 coats of sealer, I've read people on the Mb thread doing as many as 7 with nail polish, and those people have reported back the best results. So maybe 3 or 4? I think the actual sealer is better than the polish tho, so maybe you won't need that much? I wonder if they have the sealer in a spray paint type if can, seems like that would be much easier than painting it on... Hmmmmmm.... Too many options!

THanks Terri! I really love everything about all of my outfits - it's so hard to pick just one.

Hahaha... 7!!! GULP!!! Glad I got a BIG can of sealer. :rotfl: I started painting mine yesterday... So far, I like it, but like I said... It's nothing special. The part I am having the biggest issue with, is I shake a bit - so I am having a very difficult time getting my lines smooth. :confused3 It's very frustrating to me. I need to find out if there is something I can use (nail polish remover mabye?) that I can go back around and remove some of the dried acrylic to smooth out my lines with? Do you know? From far away - you don't notice the little details like that, but you know me... I have a bit of a perfectionism problem. :rolleyes1

Bamfield – I would go without your son (assuming he would rather stay at home). The exact same scenario happened to us several years ago. My son was the drum major for the band at his school. We left the decision up to him. He decided to stay home and perform with his band while the rest of the family went on our trip. I just now called him to ask if he was happy or if he regretted not going on our trip. He said that although he wished he could have gone on our trip, he was glad he had the opportunity to play at Homecoming. Knowing what he knows now, if he had to make the choice again, he would choose to stay at home and march for his band. Good luck.

This was so nice of you to do... And I love that you asked your son if he regretted it... Great idea to get another perspective from someone in the exact same situation! :thumbsup2

just love the Minnie bag..so cute if I didn't have a Minnie bag I might even try to figure out how you made this......lol I only have 1 more bag I have to make and that's Raina's Halloween one. Still haven't figured how to go about making the Dumbo one so the fabric justs sits here stareing at me........lol

I would love to see pictures of your bags, do you have them posted on Facebook? I hate it when I have something specific in mind - my Minnie bag was much the same way... I knew what I wanted, and I knew I had to drastically edit that pattern - it was just getting started that was the hard part. Once I dug into it - I couldn't stop. LOL

Wow, you have several pieces of good news - finishing auction bag #10, getting to have a nap, getting to go on a date with DH (cute picture of you and Josh by the way), riding in your Jeep, having a good dinner with DH (looks like a cool place to eat), and the greatest news of all: a Spring Break Trip!

I love the color of the magic bands. I can’t wait to see what you do with them.

OMG! Beautiful original auction bag! I love the cards on the interior fabric. The revised auction bag is great too!:worship: I would love to receive either one!

Everything about your outfit is adorable. I agree it would have been cool to get a photo with Minnie but I think your day will be much less stressful without the CMs.

Hahaha... Yes, you are right - lots of good news!

Well - I am only painting my own magic band... I purchased one of each color of paint in case the girls wanted to do something with theirs, but that's totally up to them.

Thank you - I love how the Alice bag turned out... It is a beautiful bag, for sure!

Thank you... I totally agree - I would much rather have a less stressful day. LOL

OK, I made it here , I skimmed, and will try to keep up from here on in! Great pics of your girls and love the story of you and your BFF!
Queenie

Welcome Queenie!!! It's great to have you here! Thank you! :lovestruc

**********************************************************

OK - so I worked yesterday morning... I am almost finished with my custom order from last week. I was doing the very last step of strap assembly, and realized that my order of strap adjusters isn't here yet. Sigh. I ordered them last week, so they should be here today or tomorrow... It will only take me 10 minutes to finish up the bag as soon as they are here.

Then, I worked on a few misc. projects yesterday. I made V a new dress for the trip last fall - which I have NOT shared here yet... Well, I had to make a couple of alterations to it, since she didn't grow as much as I thought she would... I also had to order a few misc. pieces for it... HOpefully they will be here this week, so I can attach them.

I also started painting my magic band... As I said above, I do not have painting skills at all... I actually have a shake in my hands sometimes - especially when I am trying to do certain things - I guess that painting is one of them? LOL So, my lines are not as precise as I would like them to be. I need to figure out a way to go back and clean up my edges. :confused3 But, other than that, so far I like it.

I purchased enough paint so the girls could paint theirs too... I am not sure if they are going to or not? I told them to make sure they research what kind of design they want to do before they start painting...

Then, Josh decided to tell us what he wanted to do yesterday... Originally - he wanted to take us tubing down the river, but since the weather was a bit chilly/rainy yesterday, he decided that we should go to Valleyfair instead. THis is a BIG deal... The girls and I always go - and we have APs... but Josh doesn't and hasn't been with us for almost a decade... We had SO MUCH FUN yesterday - I cannot even tell you - it was just a GREAT day!!! Of course, I am going to share pictures...

On Steel Venom:

20140727_163918.jpg

When the girls were little, until they started Kindergarten... I dressed them alike every single day... They have rarely dressed like that since - and most especially in the last 7 or 8 years... They were so hot yesterday after the sun came out, we had to buy them t-shirts... LOL So, I had to take a picture of them dressed alike... Melt my heart...

20140727_164724.jpg

Hahaha.... And then Josh holding Alli to the railing, waiting for THE WAVE to come... She did NOT want to get wet... LOL

20140727_173805.jpg

Trying to escape...
20140727_173811.jpg

But Josh caught her...
20140727_173816.jpg

And, of course, V and I stood back and took pictures, rather then help. :rolleyes1

We didn't get home until almost 10pm last night... but it was just a great family day. We've been having lots of those lately, and it's just been really good for us.

As a side note... Josh and I were chatting yesterday while we were waiting for one of our rides to load... He was talking about how much fun he had with the girls being little at Disney... So, I took the opportunity to tell him how much fun it is to have the girls older at Disney too. Two totally different experiences - but really awesome, just the same. I think it got him thinking - especially after the great time he had yesterday... It's doubtful... but I bet I could get him to take one more family trip some day.

Alrighty... My agenda for today...

I am going to do my 30 Day Shred shortly...

Then I am headed upstairs to start my LAST custom order before our trip. :woohoo:

I can only work until about 10:30 today, because I need to get ready and take Alli to town to work. Then I am headed straight to BFF's house, so I can give her the trip documents and Olivia's Magicband. We might run to the mall and to Target too... I have a few hours to kill while Alli is working. :wizard:

Then, I need to come home and make dinner. At some point tonight, we are driving Josh's truck over to our new mechanic's and he is having his spark plugs done tomorrow...

I might mess with my magicband a little bit today too, see if I can get it to look a little nicer?

I hope you all had a nice weekend! Prayers and good thoughts to all! :grouphug:

D~

I hope Josh is inspired for another trip to Disney!

Can't wait to see your MB. I am so nervous about painting them and ruining the "magic" they are supposed to do, but I've seen that enough people are doing it, so it must be ok!

I am super excited about this outfit too! Today is our Epcot day... And, I think that Minnie still wears her red polka-dot dress in the Character Spot? I hope so...

I initially decided to go with a Minnie theme day when I saw this tank top at Disney online... I just loved it! Thanks to a bit of pixie dust from a CM friend of mine... :scratchin I now have it for my trip. :woohoo:

So, this one tank top spurred the rest of this outfit... Seriously. ONE tank top led to the purchase of a headband, jewels and the making of a bag. LOL It is a sickness... :scratchin

IMG_1666.jpg

I can pretty much copy and paste what I wrote yesterday... LOL

From head to toe...

The head gear was made by the fantabulous Jennifer of Princess Pie Bowtique...

The jewels were made by the amazing Erin from Pixie Twist...

The bag was made by me...

The shirt was purchased from Disney online...

The shoes, shorts and belt are nothing special...

But I love this entire outfit together! It's just so cute! If I do say so myself... ::yes::

D~

as always I just adore all the outfits!!! really going to be great pictures of you all!!!

AND HOOOOORAY! for Josh!!!!!!!!!! maybe he is realizing they are getting older and going to be an empty nester soon!!!

Time to grab hold of the time you have cherish it like no other!

Do i really need to comment on bags? you know i have a addiction for them. no matter what character is on it..

you time is getting here faster then you think!!! :cool1:

Hi Dee, I spent some time reading the thread that discusses how to decorate MBs and they mentioned that they use acetone to remove the paint.

I pulled out my fabrics to see if any of them could make a good fabric cover since painting is not my thing. I have some great Hawaiian fabrics and Christmas fabrics but nothing that says "Disney". So I ended up ordering some vinyl covers.

Good luck with the painting job. It is all about the colors you use, anyway, so a few wavy lines wouldn't matter. :)

Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend! I am really loving all of your outfits so far. When Jim and I were in Epcot in October, Minnie was still in her red polka dot dress and still is as far as I know.

I will hopefully be posting the DTD portion of my May TR (it's at the end of the Rock On TR) today so you can check out the pictures. As for the two boat docks, the one that is closed is by the Rain Forest Cafe. The renovations section of the DIS says it will be closed till the "fall" whatever that means. The one that is open is right near Paradiso 37 on Pleasure Island. There's not much left of Pleasure Island other than a few restaurants. The bus stop that is still open is the one that is near Design a Tee.

Oh I hope Josh goes with you on a trip. Maybe make it so he doesn't go to the parks with you every day. So he can get some space from the crowds but I am thinking he will want to go with you one time.

He just needs for it to be his idea.

Love your pictures from yesterday.

Good luck with your list for today.

AGREED!!!

Curse you D~! LOL I had fallen in love with that Minnie shirt back the first time you showed it. When I saw it today, I decided to run over to the website and grab it for me and Miss B...It was out of stock, but that did not stop me from running up a $200 shopping bag full of shirts!

Now my list is down to only 28 shirts to make!

Nini

I tried posting an reply yesterday but lost it so I gave up. I think both the Alice and Mad Hatter bags are great. All of your park outfits will look wonderful. I like the little Minnie and Donald and that they can be removed after your trip.
I sounds like your family had a great time yesterday at the amusement park. I hope you can get Josh to go to Disney with you and the girls one day. I think he'd have fun once he got there.
We had some excitement yesterday. The tornado sirens went off due to the line of storms moving through. Luckily nothing came of it except for flooded streets. We didn't even lose power. We don't have a basement and our lower level has big windows so all we can do is sit on the steps going down there. The storms always seem really loud here because of how close we are to Lake Erie. Today should be much quieter.
Liz

All of your trip outfits so far are amazing!! It's inspired me to create some "everyday cosplay" outfits that I could wear to conventions or to Disney but also wear them on a normal day around town. My first one is going to be Gadget from Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers!

I can't wait to see your decorated Magic Band!

Awesome... Now I don't know which one I like the best Donald or this Minnie one, they are amazing!! :worship:

Looks like a great family day! That would be so great if he considered another Disney Family Trip. They are only young once. That is what I keep telling everyone to justify why we go every year.... lol :rotfl:

That Alice in Wonderland bag is fabulous! I am so glad that I don't have anyone in my family that loves her - I cannot afford another D~ bag right now :goodvibes

I love all your outfits! They are so awesome. They make me way less excited about my extensive Disney T-shirt collection.

I still don't know anything conclusive about an August trip. DH and I did have our lunch date yesterday so we did talk a little bit about getting our passes early which he is still good with. And, it would save me money on my girls weekend in October if I already had my pass. I'll keep you posted on what we decide.

I was going to ask how Josh liked the amusement park but it seemed from your comments below that he had an awesome time. Maybe you guys could swing a family trip to Disney during a less crowded time - after Thanksgiving but before Christmas or January or February. That might make it more enjoyable for him. I hope the surprise afternoon at Valleyfair will turn into another family Disney trip for you. I can just imagine how over the moon you'd be if Josh decided he wanted to do that. And congrats on getting your foot in the door on graduation trips with the girls!

I know things change at Disney daily, but when we were there in March, Minnie was still in her red polka dot dress at Character Spot at Epcot.

You are going to be so stinking cute in all of your outfits!!! Love the little details. Neat idea changing up the pins switching from Minnie to Mickey.

The handstand is pretty impressive, yeah I would break my neck if I tried that!

Looks like a great day at the park! Yup, yup you all need to do a family trip before the girls start getting away from home.

We went to DTD yesterday to catch a movie and walk around a little, over the last couple of weeks the traffic has really gotten worse. More and more construction going on. Definitely plan on extra time getting to and from this area. Also with everything being having walls up for construction it seems more crowded. They are really coming along with some of the rehab, can't wait for it to be finished.

Also its fame-blame hot down here, we were only out for a little while and got some sun! Remember to pack lots of sunscreen or floppy hats!

I will PM you to see if we can get a meet together!

I saw some of those pictures on FB and thought I saw Josh in there. Glad you all are having fun!

I've been meaning to ask what the exact measurements of the MBs are. I could probably look it up somewhere, but you have yours, and we're talking.... so :confused3 why not ask?
I'm going to have to cover mine due my acidic sweat. Can't wear anything plastic because I break out. Especially with the humidity and heat in Florida.

All your outfits look very fun and enthusiastically Disney, but not in your face. And that Minnie/Mickey bag of yours is fabulous and I generally hate pleats.

Have a great day everyone!

Coming out of lurkdom and a hiatus to say I love all of your custom outfits!

And yes Minnie is still wearing the polka dot dress at the character spot in Epcot. I was just looking through our memory maker photos last night and noticed it.

Sounds like a fun day at Valley Fair with Josh, hopefully that will convince him that doing another family trip to WDW would be fun for him as well.

Grrr...one more try. The DIS keeps eating my posts :/

Love the outfits, especially the Minnie bag!

I like both of the Alice bags, but my fav is the Hatter.....so fun!

I didn't put any sealer top coat or bottom coat on my magic band and it held up great. I had really hot sweaty weather and I swam every day. Not a single smudge. I don't think you need anything to "seal" it, but do what makes you comfortable.

Glad Josh seems to be warming up to a return trip! Maybe we could get all the guys together.......fun fun fun!

Fingers crossed....maybe it will actually post this time......

Thanks Sandra! I just hope my plan of attack works, LOL. I wore the one pair the day before yesterday and the other pair yesterday. They are super comfortable and I like how they look - even though they don't "feel" tight, I think they "look" tight... But I am certain that has more to do with all my excess skin, than anything else. If that makes sense?

Congrats on your loss too!!! That is so awesome! And it's great you are doing so well, it's so hard to lose when you have a newborn - as sweet as he is, I would just want to sit and cuddle him all the time. :lovestruc

I get exactly what you mean about excess skin. I have a really good friend who has lost over 125 lbs in the last year. She did it by eating healthier and exercising. She says the extra skin does make it harder on clothes but she loves that she is now a size large instead of a 3X or bigger!!! Good luck and keep up the good work.

Yes it is hard to lose right now for me. I do enjoy spending time snuggling with him which I do more than I should. But then again you can never snuggle your little one enough.

Both of the bags turned out amazing!!! Love Alice a little more though!!

My jewels were made by the wonderful Erin from Pixie Twist designs... I just adore these!!! I brought them with me to Chicago and wore them - countless comments and compliments on these too! And even though they look a little bit chunky and big (that's the point really...) - they are SUPER comfy to wear, and I didn't even know I had them on. I highly recommend Erin- she does a great job!

Love your outfits!! You are so much more creative putting them together than I was. :rotfl2: I'd just grab my shirt for that day and a pair of shorts and off we'd go. So I thought I'd share some things Erin made for us. Not only do they do necklaces but she made me some shirts and I purchased from her one of V's dresses that Sarah absolutely loved!!!! We got nothing but compliments on them all!!

Every character we met loved this dress!!!

I hope Josh is inspired for another trip to Disney!

Can't wait to see your MB. I am so nervous about painting them and ruining the "magic" they are supposed to do, but I've seen that enough people are doing it, so it must be ok!

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Me too... We'll see.

I wasn't nervous about it at all... There are so many painted ones now. I think I am done with mine... Trust me, it's nothing special. I just need to add my bazillion layers of sealer. LOL

as always I just adore all the outfits!!! really going to be great pictures of you all!!!

THanks! I am very excited!

Maybe? We'll see...

I know...

Hahaha... No, no comments necessary - I know. Hehehe...

I know... I am starting to get nervous too!

Hi Dee, I spent some time reading the thread that discusses how to decorate MBs and they mentioned that they use acetone to remove the paint.

Good luck with the painting job. It is all about the colors you use, anyway, so a few wavy lines wouldn't matter.

Thanks Sue... Amazingly, I had some acetone here - and you are right, it works perfectly, even on acrylic paint. Whoot!

Oooh - which covers did you order?

LOL - I hope so... I touched it up intermittantly all day yesterday, I don't think I can touch it up anymore with out wrecking it... So, I think it's done? Just needs tons of sealer.

Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend! I am really loving all of your outfits so far. When Jim and I were in Epcot in October, Minnie was still in her red polka dot dress and still is as far as I know.

We did - thank you!

Good to know about Minnie... At least I will get a picture with her in one of my Minnie outfits.

I will try to get over there - but probably not until tomorrow... Today is a Target day for me. Sigh.

Yup - definitely need to go looking at a DTD map... Don't even know where PI is? Is that the dock that's close to WoD?

Oh I hope Josh goes with you on a trip. Maybe make it so he doesn't go to the parks with you every day. So he can get some space from the crowds but I am thinking he will want to go with you one time.

He just needs for it to be his idea.

Love your pictures from yesterday.

Good luck with your list for today.

I hope so, some day. I think once he got there, he'd like to be in the parks. :confused3

LOL - exactly.

Thanks!

AGREED!!!

Nini

Oh no... So sorry! I do love that shirt though - it's very cute. But it runs SUPER small... Like - I ordered the XXL because it was that or a small (and I knew a small wouldn't work) - the XXL barely fits. :confused3 Love Disney stuff - hate their sizing.

Glad you whiddled down your shirts though and always happy to help out where I can. ::yes::

Thank you Liz! I am very excited about everything!

We did have a great time.. And yes, I hope that some day he will go with us.

YIKES!!! Glad you are OK - hopefully there wasn't much damage.

Thanks Meg! Always happy to inspire. LOL Can't wait to see what you make!

It's almost ready... Just need to do several layers of sealer. :thumbsup2 I'll probably work on that tomorrow.

Awesome... Now I don't know which one I like the best Donald or this Minnie one, they are amazing!!

Looks like a great family day! That would be so great if he considered another Disney Family Trip. They are only young once. That is what I keep telling everyone to justify why we go every year.... lol

LOL - I am having the same problem... I love my Donald stuff... but the Minnie outfits have really grown on me!

We did have a great family day - we had so much fun! Some day, maybe he will do Disney again? But you are totally right - they are only young once...

That Alice in Wonderland bag is fabulous! I am so glad that I don't have anyone in my family that loves her - I cannot afford another D~ bag right now :goodvibes

LOL - thank you! I am glad you like them.

LOL - I am very excited about my outfits... I love that they are just plain outfits, but the accessories are what stands out and gives them "character". :thumbsup2

Let me know when you know about August.

Yes, we had lots of fun at Valleyfair... Maybe some day he will go back to Disney... I owe him a few trips elsewhere though... So, really gotta get those done first. Then we can talk Disney again.

Good to know - thank you!

I bet polish remover will work. That seems to be what people on the MB thread are using.

Yup - it worked perfectly.

You are going to be so stinking cute in all of your outfits!!! Love the little details. Neat idea changing up the pins switching from Minnie to Mickey.

The handstand is pretty impressive, yeah I would break my neck if I tried that!

Thanks Cindy... I am so excited about everything! So happy it all came together.

Yah- I was pretty shocked myself that I didn't fall over. I kept waiting for it to happen...

Good to know about DTD... There are really only 2 places I'd like to go there... WoD and the Co-Op... Now BFF, otoh, wants to go everywhere and do everyting. I think I'll point out the flags on the boats, remind her about the luggage limit and head back to the resort? LOL

Yah - Don't remind me about the heat... LOL It's so bad...

Yes, PM me and let me know. :thumbsup2

I saw some of those pictures on FB and thought I saw Josh in there. Glad you all are having fun!

I've been meaning to ask what the exact measurements of the MBs are. I could probably look it up somewhere, but you have yours, and we're talking.... so why not ask?
I'm going to have to cover mine due my acidic sweat. Can't wear anything plastic because I break out. Especially with the humidity and heat in Florida.

All your outfits look very fun and enthusiastically Disney, but not in your face. And that Minnie/Mickey bag of yours is fabulous and I generally hate pleats.

Have a great day everyone!

LOL - yup, he was there... We had a lot of fun!

Oooh - I will have to measure for you... Someone else here may know off the top of their heads though? However, they aren't exacly rectangular - they taper off at the ends, if that makes sense. I know there is a template somewhere too? Maybe Terri has it?

Thanks! I am very happy how it turned out!

I hope you have a great day too!

Hi there!!!! Glad you came out to play!

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know... At least I will be able to get one picture with her in one of my Minnie outfits.

I hope so too... It would be a lot of fun!

Grrr...one more try. The DIS keeps eating my posts

Hi Suzi!!! I've missed you!

Thanks - I am in love with the Minnie bag too - I cannot wait to carry it!

I love both of the Alice bags too.. but the acutal Alice bag is very beautiful... It almost mezmerizes you...

Good to know about your MBs... The Acrylic makes me nervous though - so I think I am going to put lots of sealer on it. LOL

Maybe... I think I could possibly drag him down if you all were there. ::yes:: He likes youz guyz.

Thanks for going through all that trouble to post. Love ya!

Love your outfits!! You are so much more creative putting them together than I was. I'd just grab my shirt for that day and a pair of shorts and off we'd go. So I thought I'd share some things Erin made for us. Not only do they do necklaces but she made me some shirts and I purchased from her one of V's dresses that Sarah absolutely loved!!!! We got nothing but compliments on them all!!

Every character we met loved this dress!!!

Yah - the excess skin part is really annoying, but there isn't anything I can really do about it. Sadly.

Thanks - I am very excited about them!

I adore that little picture of Jeffrey! And I love everything Erin made for you all! How awesome! Erin is just the best! :lovestruc

**********************************************************

OK - trying to make today's post quick - it's a Target day for me... Only a few more left before our trip! :woohoo:

So, I worked upstairs yesterday morning... I still have a little bit left to do to finish quilting this week's order.

Then - I brought Alli to town for work.

Went to Bff's house, picked up Olivia and headed to the mall...

Shopped with her for a little while... While waiting for her mom to get there. Shopped some more... Found some ADORABLE Minnie socks in Hot Topic... Yes, I bought them!

Once BFF got there, we shopped a bit more...

Then I stopped at Target... They are STILL out of the size I need for the short thingies to go under my dresses... I need to start avidly looking at all the Targets - I've been pretty lazy about it. NOw it's getting important. LOL

Then, FINALLY, I got my recept from BFF's uncle for that oil change I had done last year - so I can FINALLY get my air conditioner fixed in my car!!! THis has been the biggest PITA ever... One dumb oil change... Hoping to get that appointment made this week.

Came home...

Made dinner...

Ate dinner...

Took Josh's truck over to our new mechanic's to have his spark plugs done today. Pray they don't give the mechanic too much trouble... We were quoted $600+ just for spark plugs... I know, insane right? But we called around everywhere and this is an average price for this make and model of truck... Sigh. I guess the spark plugs are really thin, and are known to break off when you pull them.

I went over to one of my neighbors to chat for a little while last night...

Then to bed.

Today is Target... :confused3

I hope you all have a fabulous day today! Sending prayers and Pixie Dust to all! :grouphug:
