Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

I have some acrylic sealer that I was going to put over it. Did you paint right on the magic band or did you put down a base coat?

I painted directly on the band. Just not on the flexible part.

Finally done with our bands. I know that they are not perfect which is driving me crazy but my DD love them. ( hopefully the pic shows up this is my 1st attempt).

For those who used rhinestones. Did you use a base coat or a top coat over them? I did a test and it seemed that the base coat made the rhinestones cloudy.

All of these are so good! I just got ours today and I'm still trying to figure out how I want to decorate my green one

After painting and then re-painting my band 3 times, I finally settled on this. The gold is my favorite because it catches the light really well.

That is so cute! I like how you used the MH to be part of the balloons!
Did you use acrylics? If so did you cover it with sealer?

I started painting mine today with acrylics. The good thing is, if you make a mistake it scrapes right off. The bad thing is... it scrapes right off. I do plan to put several coats of sealer over it and then test it. I have some tattoos on stand by if need be. ;)

Thanks! I actually just used nail polish with paint brushes. I like that the nail polish is pretty durable and doesn't seem to crack/scrape off. The paint brushes I had were thin enough that it was pretty much like regular painting. With my other scrapped ideas I had only used the nail polish brushes, and that really limited things.

I went back and forth on what to use. Even though I have a lot of colors of nail polish, I have more paint. So we'll see.

Knew that no one out there but you all on this thread would get it, but we were thrilled that the hotel we stayed at the night before we got to WDW came equipped with a special Magic Band drying rack! Who knew!!!!:rotfl2:

Hahahahahaha!!

Keep us posted on how they turn out.
I will. I'm almost finished with mine. And DH's may end up being nothing more than a black outline around the MH.

That's awesome! :rotfl:

I Love These!!! Can you post close ups of them as well? :goodvibes

Has anyone tried coving the band with stones using super glue? Just wondering if it interferes with how it works if stones are covering the Mickey head in the middle.
