Girls Trip One More Time...Final Plans, The End 5/23

Good gracious now 5 pages in.... :faint:

Congrats to Avery and Cayley is doing great at the gym.

Hopefully Andy will propose soon. :)

Made it through Frozen and now have to watch again to catch details.

A little late to the party! A really busy weekend put me behind once again. Going back to read. :rolleyes1

CONGRATULATIONS
on the big win!!! What an accomplishment!!! amazing and talented beautiful girl!!! so amazing!

So what did your hubby do for her?!?! :confused3

Ya know i see your leaving on the 29.. Which means you can come have dinner with all of us on the 28th....:scratchin

I love seeing the pictures of them growing. they are going to love this when they get older and can see it for themselves.

good ol Midway!!!! :thumbsup2

Mary, feel free to brag on those girls anytime you want! They seem like great kids, and obviously talented gymnasts!

I'm sure I'll see these guys at the airport:

Fitting. Because going to Disney World is almost like going on a mission from God. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Good to have you here, as always. And whenever you get here is fine. But when it comes to the September PTR I might think differently. ;)
Maybe we could do a joint PTR. That way the readers won't get bored with my lack of updates and you can do all the work. :lmao:

Mary- The girls are just adorable… Sorry I've been saying this to you for years but hey, they are! :)

Sorry! :)

I love reading Mary's updates on FB about how the girls do at their meets.

Hopefully Andy will propose soon. :)

We shall see.

And, what did you think? Have you seen Saving Mr. Banks?

So, did you go back to read? Anyway, welcome...glad to have you with us again.

joining in!!!!!

:wave2:Jen!

Why is this the last girls trip?

Next year, Mary is going to Aulani with the family so no Disney; I'm thinking that with the girls getting older, it is harder to pull them out of school? I'm not really sure why not after 2015.

CONGRATULATIONS

Aren't they though?

So what did your hubby do for her?!?! :confused3

I'll see if Mary replies to this question.

Hmmm....I'll have to see what's going on that week if I can get my packing done early enough.

I love those pictures...I couldn't believe the difference nor could Mr. Mark.

good ol Midway!!!! :thumbsup2

As you know, I prefer O'Hare; but cheaper airfare and free luggage can't be beat.

Mary, feel free to brag on those girls anytime you want! They seem like great kids, and obviously talented gymnasts!

Amen!

Fitting. Because going to Disney World is almost like going on a mission from God. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

You have a good point there!

Kind of like I do now with Mary? :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: (Love you Mary).

She loves hearing it!

Here I am....on page 5! :crazy2: Now I need to go back and read up! :thumbsup2

Love your arrival day plans! That is exactly what we did in March 2012 on our arrival day. We flew in, rode ME, checked into POR, then headed to DTD for the afternoon/evening. FUN stuff to get into the magic before actually setting foot in a park. pixiedust:

I am here! I missed so much over the weekend! Did not turn my computer on once! Can't wait to see what the girls trip plans are going to be!

Thanks; we have done this all three girls trips and it works out well for us.

:wave2: Sophia, so good to see you again. Thanks for joining.

Exactly. I post like 2-3 times a month and you handle the rest.

That woudl be about standard for you.

I'm sure you have plenty of embarrassing pictures of me to keep the conversation going.

Or I could use the "good" one I have over and over again. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Joining the fun.:dance3:

:welcome: Thank you for joining.

Katie, I'm so happy to have you with us again. I hope you had a good weekend.

Gosh gosh Kathy! I saw your PM and then came over and you are already on page 5. Going back to read.

Lisa, this wouldn't be complete without you here. :)

Thanks for all the nice comments about the girls. I am very blessed :) Cayley is hoping to achieve a big skill in the gym today-the round off back handspring!! It is really the stepping stone for all her tumbling passes for Trampoline and Tumbling. She has had the ability to do one for about a month but fear has held her back. She tried one on Sat but wants to do it for her favorite coach today.

I don't think this will be the last girl's trip forever. After looking at the points needed for Aulani I think we will wait until 2016. We really need the 1 bedroom when Jeff comes along. We are looking at doing an all inclusive beach place with some friends.

Avery asked for a sewing machine for her birthday. My Mom was a big sewer/quilter when she was alive. Me not so much at all. So Jeff is in charge of teaching her. He was on You Tube this weekend looking things up and watching tutorials. So cute.

Okay Kathy and Mary, I'm all caught up now. Both of you did great jobs with the intros and the pictures are all great! Of course, the girls are as cute as buttons!

Our Arrival Day

I finally broke down yesterday and bought our airline tickets. They were outrageous, I may have to sell a body part or rob a bank. And no buying them months ago would not have helped.

We leave Phx at 855a. Which means we will have to be up by 6a, on the road to the airport by 645a and arriving at the airport around 730a. Our tradition is to get Starbucks and some snacks. I also pack snacks for the plane. We will all bring our Ipads and watch various movies. We will also probably read. Arrival in Orlando is at around 430p. SO with the time change it is roughly a 4.5 hour flight and we lose a day LOL. We arrive about a half an hour before Kathy so will probably grab something at the food court.

We will then meet up and take the ME to OKW. We picked OKW for 2 beds, pool and location. I requested to be near the main area so the that we would not have to trek to far for the pool and adult bev. After checking in we will head to DTD. I am ok with EOS but the girls are not big fans. They do not really enjoy hot sandwiches. I have to agree that warm pb&j is just gross. I am all for ice cream and shopping after dinner.

Up next, pur first park!!!

DtD the first day sound great! We will also be doing DTD our first day but it is after a few hours sleep!! We will spend most of the day there just hanging out and relaxing!!!

I love EoS and I actually like Warm PB&J sandwiches... I guess I am weird!! :lmao: Oh wait... I knew I was weird! :rotfl2:

I am trying to exchange into DVC for our fall trip and OKW or SSR may be our only choices. I shy away from them because of their size! We shall see what the future holds! Any recommendations for one or the other? We DO NOT get a rental car and rely on Disney Transportation.

I made it! We were in Evanston/Chicago this weekend (left straight from work on Friday) and had a fun weekend in your hometown--my brother lives there. Of course we had to drive downtown to visit the "Princess Store," aka Disney store and eat around the corner at Gino's. :thumbsup2

Your girls are beautiful! I remember when I was Avery's age I was close to my ROBH (easier than typing it out) and being so scared I didn't truly get it until I was 12. I was a cheerleader, not a gymnast, though, and was learning on panel mats on top of a gym floor. :) I'm sure Cayley will nail it in no time!

That is the sweetest thing I've ever heard about your DH and learning the sewing. :goodvibes
