The Irish are going to Disneyland.

Emma-
How did I not realize that you had a PTR going? I am so sorry, or I would have been here lots sooner! I am counting on you to figure out DL so that if I ever get there I can ask you questions!
It's grand we've a long way to go. I got over excited and started early :goodvibes I'm sure by the time I go i'll have read that much about it i'll know everything I can know :rotfl2: of course there will be a bazillion pictures as well :)

Yay for Westlife...even if it was just one on the guys! Fun for you...and of course you know how much I enjoy your trips to the Disney Store!
The whole Westlife going "solo" thing is going to have me broke another one of them released an album yesterday. They really need to get back together for the sake of my pocket.

I'm raging I missed dancing wednesday as well because there's an Irish themed window display for St. Patrick's day in the Disney store. Hoping they still have it up on Wednesday when i'm there again....

St. Patrick's day tomorrow... aw like this time year years ago we were in Florida and performing in Universal Citywalk on St. Patrick's day dressed as banshees, fairies, leprechauns and whatever else... Tomorrow the musical society are leading the local parade and I'm going to be some sort of dead ancestor type thing from the Addams Family (i have no idea what's going on!!!) :goodvibes :shamrock:

Happy St. Patty's Day my Irish Friend!

Thanks :) Today was so much fun we were in the parade as the Addams family and ancestors to promote the show complete with coffin and all! We may have scared a few dozen children as well :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Oh I got shamrock shake afterwards. :goodvibes:goodvibes Good day :shamrock:

I loved all your pictures on FB!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, friend.

Your tentative plans sound good.
Thanks. Hope you had a good day for it if you did anything for it :shamrock: I'm currently trying to convince Momma that we need to do the Walk in Walt's footsteps tour but my argument of "but it's Walt's apartment" isn't impressing her.

Thanks. It was great seeing some of the costumes or getting an idea what we might be like for the show. Up til yesterday I was kinda meh about the show because of the anxiety and that but got a little excited when I saw all the stuff yesterday :)

So anxious lately but was at dancing yesterday and got to see the new Disney store window display fo St. Patrick's day :shamrock:

Also question for y'all. If you were going to meet Mickey Mouse on his birthday what would you do or bring to make the photos a little bit more fun?

I've been in the one in Manchester.. well the two in Manchester. They have exclusive British plushies in the UK Disney stores like Minnie mouse as the queen and Mickey and Donald as the Royal gaurds. I have pictures of them somewhere.

I was thinking maybe bring him one of the happy birthday cupcakes and a party hat but I want to find like an Irish party hat because I'm strange that way :goodvibes

I might just have to get me a Mickey as a Royal Guard...that would be a great things to take home for a memory!

I like the idea of an Irish Party hat!

Can't stop looking up stuff related to California and Disneyland ha...

Has anyone ever done a tour of Hollywood with star line tours?

Also I have an extra day with nothing to do any suggestions on what else we can do besides Disney, shop and tour Hollywood?

Okie so work want to know my hotel plans like tomorrow so need to do super quick research on Disneyland to see if we can make it

I don't think they would let Mickey wear the hat. My friend wanted to get a picture of him with the sorcerers hat on and although she could wear it Mickey could not. The first thing that came to mind about finding a Irish hat though was perhaps one for St. Paddy's day. You could decorate it if you wanted to. Mickey could probably hold it.

They are cute. I love the Irish themed Disney stuff.

I'll see what's around have loads of time to search anyway.

Thanks I can't wait to go to the original park but thinking it might be a bit emotional because it's the only one Walt actually walked around in. :goodvibes

I'll see what I can find. I want to get him to hold a sign saying Happy Birthday Michael as well because it's the first time in 10 years we'll be missing my nephew's birthday so want to get the pic for him.

Two questions:
Where is Santa Monica beach and how far is it from Anaheim?

What is there to see in San Diego?

I think someone (who i'm not fond of) has been talking to Momma and putting ideas in her head because last week she passed some comment about how she wants to discuss a schedule for the trip with me and wants to see all these places. ::eek:

Also bigger news. I got a date in May for my first piano exam in 12 years :scared1: :goodvibes

Santa Monica is about 10 or so miles north of LAX. From Anaheim you are looking at about a hour or so drive with no traffic.

We've never been...but I understand San Diego has a fabulous zoo. I believe there is a Sea World there too.

Congrats on your piano exam.

We won't have a car though so would be relying on public transport. I'm not sure it's a good idea to be trying to get there.

I mentioned those to her when she said about San Diego because I was thinking of doing Sea World there and she said she didn't want to go there she just wanted to see San Diego.

Congrats on your piano exam.
I'm kind of nervously excited about that. I hope that I get a result to please everyone!

Public transit in the Los Angeles area is a joke for the most part (I live in LA county). If you want to go to Santa Monica I would try to do it as part of a day tour if you aren't going to rent a car at all.
