Easter at Sea 2015 - April 4, 2015 Eastern Caribbean (St Thomas)

And so here we are... I'll start the thread, but will happily hand this over to anyone with a burning desire to lead the meet up and any other activities. (Not being experienced with Fish Extenders, I'd especially suggest anyone interested in that and willing to organize it to chime in.)

For starters, I'm Charlie and this will be cruise 5 for DW and I, cruise 4 for DD(16). We're from Central Illinois, and as I write this were in the midst of a winter that has a lot of folks wishing for warmth. It may be almost 14 months away, but Castaway Cay sounds GREAT right about now!

We have some friends coming with us on their first cruise, but I'll leave it to them to introduce themselves at some point.

This will be our second cruise on the Fantasy, the others being on the Magic. Both are great ships, but we're looking forward to continuing to get to know Fantasy. Join the thread and say "Hi" if you'll be with us!

My family (me - Kevin - my DW and my DS who will be 7 by then) are booked for the cruise. Joining us will be my parents. It will be my DW and mine's 2nd Disney cruise and first for my son. My parents have cruised Princess twice and 2 Viking European river cruises.

We live in a Chicago suburb and I am SO ready for the warmer weather, wish the cruise was this year!

Greetings! We plan to sail with you guys. My husband and I have two daughters (one will be 10 years old at time of cruise and the other will be a few weeks shy of 13). We are from Michigan and this will be our second cruise on the Fantasy.

We have friends who will be cruising with us (same family dynamics). They have not done fish extenders yet and I will tell them about this forum.

Can not wait!!!!

Our daughters especially enjoyed having pen pals prior to the cruise last time. Let me know if their ages work out with your children and if you are interested in sharing letters before cruising.

This will be our 3rd Disney cruise. Christmas 2012 on the Dream, Newyears 2014 on the Fantasy. It will be myself, husband and my daughter who will turn 13 April of 2015. At this time we haven't told her, haven't decided when or how we will see.

This will be our second Disney Cruise. It will be myself(Scott), DW(Natalie) and DD who will be 11 when we cruise. Our first Disney Cruise was only 4 days and can't wait to totally relax on a whole week long cruise!!

This will be our 5th cruise with Disney. We are going next week on the Fantasy. So excited about scheduling this cruise while we are on the ship. Our current group is so much fun. I am willing to coordinate the FE which I am doing it for this upcoming cruise. The year will fly by so fast.

This will be our 6th Disney Cruise for my husband, son (16)and I. We are leaving on our 5th this weekend, but will be getting ready for the 2015 as soon as we get back! I will participate in FE is someone gets it going.

This will be our first Disney cruise. Our daughters will be 8 & 9 at the time of the cruise. So, I'm totally new to all of this (including this forum thing!). I have read about the fish extenders though and would LOVE to participate! Not sure how that gets started or organized though. I'm willing to help anyway I can as long as someone steers me in the right direction. We haven't told the kiddos that we're going yet only because I don't really need a full year of "how many more days until our Disney cruise?"

My DH and I just looked at this cruise and e-mailed our TA to book it for us. We just got back from our first 3 night Disney Cruise on the Disney Dream and LOVED it. I'm so excited at the thought of going back this time for longer. We didn't get to do all the things we wanted to do so hoping more nights will give us the chance to do more and explore the Disney Fantasy.

We had a great time with the FE so I'm looking forward to doing that again too.

On this cruise it will be myself, DH and our 2 kids DS10 and DD2. I'm trying to talk my Mom into bringing my two nieces and coming with us.

what type of questions? It was our 5th, I hope I can answer all of them. This past cruise was my second time doing the fish extenders. It was really fun. Did you accept the f acebook request, because I didn't receive anything from Face book.

Hi,
We have always stayed on the 7th deck, forward on the both the Magic and Fantasy. My husband researches the room, so I just ask that it is forward. Our room next year is forward, but deck 5. It is a weird design, a little bigger, there are only 4 rooms like it I believe. My husband found it by going on Mouse Savers and reading the reviews. I will get more details from him and let you know.
I have not been to San Juan, but talked to the bar tenders in Ooh La La and they gave me a name of a restaurant to eat at, I will get that to you too, it's still waiting to be unpacked somewhere. They also said it has great shopping as it has a mall, but that if you are from the states, it is no different than our malls. The crew loves San Juan. Our head waiter likes it as it has wifi and At &t and it is easier to communicate with their families.
We have done excursions at Castaway Cay, (bottom fishing) which was amazing. We caught sharks and a barracuda, a real thrill for my husband who loves to fish and my son at the time was 8 and loved it. (Did not bring them on board, just took pictures). We have done excursions in Cozumel and Key West. We enjoy shopping on the island. My son did not get off in St Thomas on this trip. Hates to shop and loves the vibe, so hung with the teens. My son does the teen excursion on Castaway Cay also. Keep the questions coming....love talking about Disney Cruises!

This is our first Disney cruise. I was wondering how the FE's work? Does someone compile a list of all the kids and ages and send it out to everyone? What kind of items have you received in the past that you've really enjoyed? We're so excited, we can't wait!!!

Someone usually takes on creating the list and attaching it to their page. I print it and take it with me and deliver the gifts throughout the week. I have done it twice. The first time I gave 5 different gifts and spread it out through the week. This past trip we did one gift. It's very fun to come to your stateroom and have little presents at your door. This year we received mini bags of candy for the movies, eye patches, tatoos for pirate night, magnets, note pads (all Disney themed). An interesting gift I received and loved, was a little magnet card that you could put in your light switch to keep your light on. (Not sure if you know, but you must put your key card in a slot when you walk in to have the power work in your room. It helps conserve energy, so nothing is on when you walk out your door.) It is really lots of fun.
