letthewookiewin - I was so relieved she was able to get the extra two weeks! I had my littlest 8 weeks early (totally unexpected because oldest was a 42 weeker - they had to pry her out!) and I know that twins are even harder when they come early. Luckily, everyone is happy and healthy and mom is still sane!
I had out oldest DS 8 weeks early. He weighed in at 4 lbs and is now close to 6 ft at 16.
So relieved DD is on meds! She had such a great week at school - didn't get in trouble once and was just floating off the bus when she got home! She had started to get down on herself for always getting talked to about her outbursts and talking in class, so it was great to see such a giddy DD!
I'm happy to hear she had a better week at school. Hopefully, they will be like that from now on.
A cruise is great for 20th anniversary! I'm trying to convince DH but we're waiting to see how orders play out (if we end up moving to Florida, cruise would be A LOT easier!). If your sister moves to the DC area, there's a ton of stuff to do: I grew up outside DC and we're stationed near it now! Love going into the city for a quick day trip!
I heard a rumor that cruise dates for 2015 are a little delayed because of figuring out logistics on ports of call. Don't know details but I guess there is talk of a refurb of Wonder and tweaking sailings for the rest of the fleet... hoping they announce soon: a good friend is looking for a DCL wedding for '15!
Well, the DH is sold on a cruise for the 20th anniversary, but he doesn't want to do Disney. He wants to do one out of NOLA or Galveston, since we live in Texas and those are the closest ports. I need to book it as soon as they come out because our anniversary is close to July 4th and I want a balcony. Plus for some reason, I get worried when thinking about booking a cruise without going through a TA. As soon as I can get the DH more on board with the idea of a Disney cruise, I'll email Dreams Unlimited about getting a quote and information on booking a cruise with them.
I am so ready for the holidays to start! Our oldest is starting to figure out the Santa thing, so this is probably our last year with her and she fell in love with Frozen so I'm thrilled I preemptively bought some goodies when they were on sale before the movie came out!!! And it's always fun to have a tiny one at Christmas who would rather play with bows than with toys.
The funny thing is, the DH is happy the boys don't believe in Santa. We still do Santa gifts for them, but it isn't their biggest gift any more like it was when they believed. This year, for instance, their biggest gift is a shared gift of a XBOX One. Santa will give them each a game for it. We'll give them at least one game with the console.
I go tomorrow to see the doctor about my hip surgery. I feel guilty pushing for it ASAP, but it works better with DH's schedule and if it gets pushed back too long, I'll be doing Disney with a cane AGAIN... nothing against it, but I want to ride the E-ticket rides!!! Last trip was 8 weeks post-op and I couldn't do Big Thunder, Space, or RnR. I pushed myself to do ToT and Splash but overdid it a bit. On the bright side, our friend who is going with us is getting pumped and starting to get sucked into the Disney magic so we're having fun making plans!!!
to everyone and have a great workup to the New Year!!!
I don't blame you. I would want to get it done asap as well. I hope the doctor's apt goes well tomorrow.
