NCConch- Yes, I am splitting the groups. It seems more even that way. I will do group #1 and group #2. My hubs and I share a pocket then I have a pocket for each kid. I don't know...I think its more about the kids than the adults but I have never been, so I'm not sure?

LilysBuoy- It doesn't matter whether you do family or kids. I think everyone will be grateful for whatever they they receive. It's the thought that counts and it should just be fun and exciting. No stress! ;-)

All my kids are in school today so after I work on CubScout stuff, I will send an updated list! I know I promised one last weekend but I had to work and got busy!

sjhuddl- I am only gifting to each stateroom once. If there are 7 families, I will give 2 staterooms one day, 2 staterooms the next day, then 3 staterooms the next day. If everyone is giving, then there should always be a lot of excitement in your fish extender pockets. Besides, if we give more often than that, it can get pretty costly. I think it would be cute to tag the gift with your family name somehow, just to keep it a little more personal!

So I don't have any FE pockets or anything like that but I'm going to start looking for it.
I've looked online for them and some are really nice! My question is, will there be a way to hang them on our door?
I'm assuming the door handle?

Some people also decorate their stateroom door but I also know we need to be careful not to damage the door. What do you use to decorate? Anything?

There is a metal fish outside your door that you can hang it on. The best way to decorate your door (from what I've read) without any damage is magnets. You can buy then or make your own (if you're crafty!).

Updates are slowly coming in and the time is ticking! I am so pumped! We are working on magnets for the door, lanyards and trading pins for the kids and fish extender gifts! A little overwhelmed but the excitement trumps my anxiety!!

I think there may have been some confusion as to why I split the groups. Some families have extended family members joining them on the cruise and participating in the FE exchange. I put those families together in Group 2 to keep the gifting a little more equal. Group 1 will gift to Group 1 only and Group 2 will gift to Group 2 only. If people split their family and decide to not to include extended family, I may do away with the split and close to entire group to any new families. (Group 1 is starting to get bigger than Group 2). There would be 15 families total and thats a good number to exchange with. I really don't want this to get too big and too costly.
