That looks like a wonderful meal (Monsieur Paul). I will definitely talk to my hubby about trying to go there.
Hi there Disfan! It truly was a great meal! Talk, beg, plead with your hubby, get him to take you there!!
Ok, I'm slapping myself right now for not resisting the urge to read your Monsieur Paul review. Now of course I want to dine there in December. I had that filet when I was there (it was BdP then) and loved it. And that salad that you guys had looks like it's right up my alley. So is there anyway to fit it into our schedule? How many meals do you think we could squeeze into one day before we slip into a permanent food coma?
Hi Barb!! Your MP review was the first that I had ever read and that was the start of my curiosity. As dining plans keep moving around you never know we could find an open spot! Food coma is coming for sure!
What a wonderful review of Monsieur Paul
Brenda I am looking forward to dining with you in December as you seen to often get free champagne
Hi Linda! This was a great place! Oh no, don't set your expectations too high there!
I'm enjoying both your trip reprot & dining report. Imagine my surprise, when you post the picture of the line out the door at the 50's Prime Time Cafe & I'm in the photo. I thought to myself "I have that bag" then "wait a minute! that is me!!!" I'm in the orange tank with the orchid colored bag. It truly is a small world.
Thank you so much for joining and reading! Welcome, welcome, welcome!!
That is so funny that you were in my photo. Isn't it odd that I even posted that since it's not really part of the "dining" experience. That happened another time in one of my reviews. A young gal was in my photo and read my post. It would have been even better if we were seated near each other and were in each others' photos! I hope we were well behaved in line behind you!!
Wow, Monsieur Paul's looks amazing!! I love the fresh bread service-- definitely a way to control bread portions! And your beef looks amazing.
Hi Kylie! Yes, portion control with the bread since they have to come around and present it to you. Although I suppose you could ask for more than one at a time. The filet was pretty awesome!
I'm finally caught up!
Ugh you are going to make me end up at 50's I just KNOW it. That just looks amazing and a place I think we will all love. I've been thinking if I can get FP+ for TSM and TofT, then I may not NEED the early morning ressie at H&V, although it was fun! Hmm .
Monsieur Paul's looks lovely as well! I loved Chefs so I'm sure I'd enjoy MP!
And the club level sigh one day!
It wouldn't be entirely bad Christen! The girls may like the fun servers there. I have no frame of reference for H&V but I know the kids must love it.
Chefs is one of my favorites as well. MP different but lovely!
Again thanks for the club level food report, I am very much looking forward to our first and probably only club level stay.
Your meal at Monsieur Paul's looked amazing, unless we decide to put our ds into the kids club it won't make our list this time though unfortunately.
Hi Wmoon! I'm glad I was able to share the CL offerings. I have a few more to share but mostly breakfast so pretty much the same stuff. I hope you enjoy it when you go!
If you do make it to MP, say hi to Philippe.
You have a great photo there Kathy!! They have changed it some. You were there before the remodel then.
I really enjoyed my meal at MP last year...It's on my list to go back!
Jill in CO
I remember your review too Jill. It was another one that influenced me so THANK YOU!!
I was thinking that too
You and Wood Nymph know your food!! Good job! And thanks for reading along!
Food with a side of sarcasm is my favorite! Because that's like eating with me everyday.
Kids chicken meals! Perfect. I need to think of that more often. I just can't eat as much as I used to after losing weight, so I try to order smaller meals as often as I can.
Haha. Your fudge comment had me thinking Pirates of the Caribbean. "Why is the fudge always gone?"
Okay, so I had to go back and read your Brown Derby thing. All I can say is, really?! Unreal. I don't even have words, and I always have words!
Listen, if they foist snails upon you without you knowing, you can pass them my way. It's my favorite thing there. When it was the Bistro, but to me it's just been a name change.
I don't see it on the menu, but when Jason and I ate there about two years ago, they had a Grand Marnier soufflé that was amazing for dessert! To die for.
Glad that you and Philippe can pretty much get along. For the moment.
Dani! I LOVE your sarcasm so eating with you would be like 50's PT. You can tell your family that they don't need to pay extra to dine with you, it's ok!
That's really my goal as well, smaller portions to maintain the loss but goodness, I'm not always successful at WDW!
You nailed the fudge expression exactly. That is what I was trying to say!
Dani, speechless?
Uhhhhh, seriously, you like these?? Perhaps I need to try one before I declare them inedible. It's likely never going to happen so that will leave more for you!! Oh, and I love the grand marnier soufflé that I've had on cruises, one of my favorite desserts. Too bad they don't have it on the MP menu because I would certainly be interested.
Thanks, Philippe was well behaved!
