2015 Sailings

For those of you wanting to go on a Baltic cruise on DCL - start saving your money! DCL priced those 2010 cruises out the wazoo - starting at $3,649 pp plus taxes.

Didn't they end up running a lot of KSF deals (if I recall correctly)?

I don't recall if they offered KSF for the Baltic cruises. DCL had some really good prices for the first Med cruises, which started in late April. They eventually offered Cat. 12 gty rates for the first (and maybe second) Baltic cruise.

I am sooooo hoping for another Baltic cruise! I missed out on the first one due to $$$ and I so regret not just ponying up and saving $$$ elsewhere.

I am willing to spend the money for what I consider to be a good value. However, I wasn't willing to "pony up" and pay the very high price DCL was asking for their Baltic cruises. By the time they offered the cat. 12 gty rates just a few months before the sailing dates - I had long since made other plans for a Princess British Isles cruise. I had been on a Baltic cruise in 2005 and will go on another in 2014 - both on Royal Caribbean.

If DCL offers Baltic cruises in 2015, I think their starting prices will have to be more in line with other cruise lines - now that they have 4 ships to fill.

KSF was offered on the 1st Baltic cruise. We loved the Baltic cruise and would love to do it again but with excursions, airfare, nights before and after, transfers and cruise for a cat 10a it cost us about $15000 for 2. Out of our budget for 2015.

We price-compared Baltic cruises and went with Celebrity. the ship was gorgeous, the food was better than DCL, and the $$$$ we saved paid for our shore excursions.

Loved our Baltic. Wouldn't mind sailing again if there was a variation in the ports.

Well, too many rumors...

* Wonder would go to Alaska (Magic can't)
* NOLA in talks to have some cruises out of there
* Quebec in talks to have some cruises out of there
* NY potentially getting some cruises back to go to Canada and hence Quebec

All of these are doable. Magic could sail late August into the fall out of NY and north to Canada, after coming back from the Med. Wonder could sail out of NOLA after the summer after returning from Alaska...

There is speculation over on Cruise Critic that DCL will home port in Copenhagen. Check out the picture on Copenhagen's port home page -

I don't recall the 2010 Baltics itinerary. Does anyone have it?

Jodie

Since no cruise lines have released their 2015 Baltic cruises, I don't think that photo from 2010 is a hint of things to come.

DCL's Baltic itinerary from Dover was Oslo, Copenhagen, Warnemunde, St. Petersburg (2 days), Helsinki OR Tallinn, and Stockholm.

Send me your flames about Mexico, but pretty please DCL, can you at least do a few weeks of Mexican Riviera cruises? Please? You really didnt give us a chance out here.

Cabo is safer than Costa Maya, where you currently sail. How about a LA, San Francisco, Cabo cruise....pretty please?

Just do it for two weeks DCL, give it a try. They will sell out. You dont have to do 6 months like you did before....

Why cant the Magic do Alaska, no ice rating?

And is it getting magic port holes for the insides during this renovation?
