***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

I've been mostly packed since Labor Day weekend!!! :rotfl: (after I installed the sink and got the stitches. lol) However, I keep adding things (like the Muppet shirts) and checking and rechecking the list. I should be done by the 25th and won't touch anything but the carry on bags at that point. The big problem is that the weather has been in the 80s and, for the kids to be comfortable, I can't pack their shorts yet.

I would offer my dryer, but why would you drive 1/2 an hour for laundry services?

I hear you! I can't get over this weather!! I just told my husband I'd like to get the suitcases out. I figure I can start throwing some stuff in as we buy them ( Disney are later stuff). Hate to forget anything!

Thanks for the offer but a new set is coming on Wednesday.:laundy:

I had big plans for all of the matching tshirts I was going to get, but I never got organized enough to do it.:guilty: I'm just glad 2 of my kids decided on their Halloween costumes and they are on their way. Now I just need my DS to decide, but indecision may or may not be his problem.:rolleyes2

LOL I'm stressed out just picturing that!!!!!!!!!

Honestly I don't even know where it's all going to go, and all of the junk in the laundry room, when they come to install the new ones.:crazy2:

Oh and I forgot, as soon as the temps went back up to the 80's and very humid, my second floor AC broke. Sleeping hasn't been the best. The hits just keep on coming!

36 days over here!!! I'll take last minute packing for any heat anyone wants to get rid of. Our shorts are all packed for Disney and away for the season.

Is anyone going to decorate their room/ resort window?

35 days here!

I hate trying to decide what FP+ to do! It's sooo hard. My DS4 is going to be like a squirrel once we get there (he has no idea we are going and, in fact, started crying in the car this morning b/c he wants to go back soooo bad! It was hard not to break and give up the secret!) and we'll end up traversing the park OR camp out in one spot (If I had to guess, the Barnstormer and then the Big Top where Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy are!) ::yes::

I reaaaaalllllly want a BoG FP!! It's driving me batty!! :headache:

I'm typically not someone who likes to wish the days away....but I am for this trip! I just can't wait for the last MNSSHP to end so all the beautiful Xmas decorations go up all over property and the photos start coming in! I just can wait for it all to be ready for us to come and enjoy a little early Xmas activities at WDW!!

34 days! Got my Mickey mail yestday woohoo! I can't wait for the magic bands to arrive hopefully next week. This weekend we have comic con in NYC, after that I am getting the suitcases out! I still can't figure out if I want to change itinerary.

37 days here. Although I really want some Mickey mail I hope it doesn't come today because it is so wet and nasty out. The mail I took in yesterday was limp from the mist in the air.

I still haven't ordered our luggage yet. We have a couple of mismatched pieces we've used, but our main case is pretty large and heavy and the other ones are pretty small. We are allowed 1 checked bag up to 50 pounds per person so I was going to buy a set. Hubby would like the hard side luggage rather than the soft side, but the new hard sides aren't that hard. They seem kind of flimsy so I've been second guessing myself. Costco has a set I'm interested in and so does Amazon (I have Prime so it can be here in 2 days). I guess I should make up my mind this week.

I've always used UT, and plans have gone fine. When the crowd levels are low, even the busiest parks aren't too bad. This year I wrote down the predictions for UT, easyWDW, and TP, and am going to see which one I feel is more accurate. Although, my interpretation may be skewed as well, we always visit the last week of Oct or first week of Nov. Usually. Ended up going in early Oct last year, and spent a Saturday at EP. Crowd calendars say 7, I would have given it a 9. :crowded:

Keep in mind that the numbers are not directly comparable because they are calculated differently. A 6 from Josh represents something completely different than a 6 from TP. They also count different things. For example, TP crowds are based on attraction wait times so something like Food & Wine crowds won't register appropriately.

The latest I've ever been in WDW was the 2nd week of Nov, so I've never really been there in the true Christmas season, or after Thanksgiving. I'll put going to WDW at Christmas on my bucket list!:santa:

If we go over to the Boardwalk at night, It's my understanding the entertainment is mostly around 8-9 pm. 1)so probably not a good time to have a dinner reservation at Cape May 2) even if we walk over after Cape May, how do the buses work to get me back to my resort since I can't go back through Epcot once the park is closed? Are there buses at BW to get me back to my resort? Or do I have to get to the transportation center and over to the resort buses and how late will those run?? There is no EMH that night.

The Boardwalk Buskers (acrobats, magician, etc.) perform Thurs - Sat 6:30-10:30.

Buses from BWI or BC only run to the parks or Downtown Disney. So you'd have to ride to one of those and then to your resort. If DHS is still open you could catch a bus from there.

We usually stay at BWV, but honestly, when we're out late at another resort we usually just catch a cab. The extra $$ is worth the extra sleep,

LOL I'm laughing cause I have just canceled and rescheduled ADRs about 4 times in the last house. My husband was giving no feedback but now has decided to give opinion. I really wanted to experience BW with him. But we had dinner reservations at 8pm at Flyin Fish, however he wasn't real exicted about the menu and neither was I for the 2 credit price. So we switched to Cape May but then changed our mind because we were not sure what time/how to get back to our resort without taking buses to a park which all would be closed by the time we did what we wanted to do. So I noticed MK has EMH the night before. So although we may or may not use the EMH we knew we could at least get a bus over to there and back to our resort. So I was able to fill his input request. Of course that means I've kind of put a little tweak on other plans that we had discussed with another couple that is going, but we did already say we were going to do some things together and some things not! LOL I can't wait to be out in the fresh sunny air and enjoy this vacation. AND not be on the internet looking at what I might like to do better. geeeze.

Buses always run late to Downtown Disney.

For the record - Flying Fish is our favorite restaurant. We go there every trip.

Hmm ok I can't figure out why people would be in the park 1/2 hour or hour after the park closes, but.......I wonder if they do it during Extra Magic Hours cause I vaguely remember the announcement when I went with my son and the park was open for EMHs. Again will listen to my body and not push it cause I don't want to be sick at Disney and want to enjoy every day!!!!

Keep in mind that you can enter an attraction one minute before it closes. So if it's a long attraction you could easily be there half an hour later. Also the shops are still open after close.

Having said that, we've never made it. We're always just too tired by then.

Exactly. I saw someone who posted that they try to enter CoP at 2 minutes before closing, so that when it's over the park has cleared out a lot. We'll see what the hours end up being. If closing stays at 9pm this is totally doable!

Mickey Mail arrived today! :cool1::cool1:

Was excited to see two sets of 12 digit numbers on my DME tags but, alas, neither worked for BoG FP+. Rats.

Oh well! I got Mickey Mail :banana:

Thanks Terri.
Going to Downtown Disney from BW to get back to the resort sounds like a doable option but long trip. LOL
Yes we could do a cab.....but we ended up doing what I think will work.

We at at DHS on the day that we go to Cape May now. Which that same night MK has EMH so we will catch a bus from the resort that Cape May is at. (My mind has drawn a blank) Then we will do some EMH at MK (which I had planned to anyway) but if we are super tired will go back to resort instead of entering MK.

Then the following night we will have open to eat at the BW and enjoy the entertainment as long as we want!!! No rushing or worrying.

I've read rave reviews about Flyin Fish. With FD I was ready to try it, but the menu did sound out of our normal for eating seafood. But thought it would be special. But then my husband got stuck on the Cape May menu and at first he thought we would be at a character meal because breakfast is. So I gave the option to switch back to Flying Fish but he was stuck on their menu to look to be more what he likes. I'm ok with it either way. Another time. I suspect we will go during a FD again sometime.

Now my question is.......
If we have an 8pm reservation at Cape May, do we have time for a 6:30pm Fantasmic show? I figured we will be needing to walk and since the show is 30 minutes.....then we should be able to get to Cape May in 45 minutes and still be early for our reservation. (taking into account the 10-15 to get out of Fantasmic and out of the park)
Anyone think we would be pushing it if we decided to try to do Fantasmic?

Thanks!
