Love it the Pb &J shake is soooo good eh? we tried it for the first time in May n I have to get another one in december for sure!!! Also I don't have the option to pm you for some reason so if u can pm me on how to get the headbands that would be great THanks :D

What a fun day! May have to add the ppj shake to my list. How were the well done hamburgers? My husband hates hamburgers even a little pink and we really want to so sci fi!

D, great update.

Since I refuse to ever eat at 50's Prime Time again, I'll have to suggest to Mark that we stop and sit at the bar for one of those shakes for him (I don't do peanut butter...but he loves it).

Love the photos of V getting stuck in the Goofy hat...those are priceless.

I always cut my burger in half before eating it; I like mine well or medium well; but if there is too much pink it is going right back. Mark will not stand for any pink at all. I'm glad you didn't get sick from it and that you had enough with that yummy shake of yours.

Sorry I got a bit behind. I’m going to have to post just up to our BB day for now and get caught up later.

I did sneak a peak at Dracula Mickey. So awesome!

This sounds wonderful! Will you research for my family too? :rotfl: I am dying to take an early december trip... I truly am. Not this year - maybe next year... I think it would have to be a solo adventure though, because I don't think I could talk Josh into that many trips in such a close space. I really wish he enjoyed Disney - even a little bit. :headache:
I will let you know what I think of OKW. I was a bit disappointed with BWV. I know I can't give up on it because we own there and because I know we really do love it there but the issues with the room weren't fun. They did end up giving me a credit on my account but it was still a pain to deal with that water leak-that ended up getting worse on Thursday. I think I won't book BWView again-I think those rooms are constantly booked and have more wear & tear. I'm looking forward to trying OKW.
AND….I just changed the last 3 nights of my December trip to a Lake View Studio at Bay Lake Tower. So we get to try 2 new DVC resorts!!!! Really excited about Bay Lake!!!!

I can see that... We are still wearing ours - we LOVE them!!!!! I love that they are so comfortable to wear, yet really fun!
I'll have to let Emma know. I think she'll get a kick out of knowing you're still wearing yours!

I am really not much of a drinker anyways, so I am just fearful now that the same thing will happen to me... I will stick to my water while in Disney.
I rarely drink at home and really don't drink too much at Disney-mostly when I'm on an adult trip. I bought a 4 pack of little wine bottles for the room and ended up leaving 3 behind. I enjoy that sangria at Via Napoli. There was no way I could have had the Lemon Drop I love in the heat. Oh & I had a grapefruit martini at Flying Fish-that was GOOD!

You must have walked through about the time we were eating? Gosh - we had to have been walking through there at about that time though - were you in front of us, and we just didn't realize it was eachother - since we hadn't "officially" met at that point. You would have recognized my bag though - i am sure.
We really must have just missed each other. I did look for us in your photos but yours do look a bit darker than mine.

Friday, August 23 - Blizzard Beach

On the way there, I ran into Bernadette (lovesdumbo) and family! Yay!!! That was an easy Dismeet. :thumbsup2 We had lockers near eachother, so I waited for them to get situated, then I brought them to our chairs.

Bernadette has a WONDERFUL family! I truly enjoyed getting to know each of them this day! The kids are a lot of fun, and really got along well with my girls.

Once the girls came back from their first slide (I didn't note what that was) - we decided to do Teamboat Springs (the family raft ride) together... We liked it so much - we did it twice. LOL

Love that chair lift too - seriously - I never would have made it up that hill with out it. LOL And I won't bore you all with the guy we spied from the chair lift, wearing a Speedo and rain boots - who neede to shave is ~ahem~ rear. Yikes... There is such a thing as proper water park attire...

Oh -then we went on the Toboggan Racers together... that was SUPER FUN!!!! Victoria won (Or was it Alli? It was one of my girls) - but I came in second. WHOOT! Not too shabby for a Mom.

Now, don't let the term "lazy river" fool you... It's lazy, but it does MOVE... And it's a bit awkward to get into that tube - to say the least. I am so short and the river was so deep - I couldn't jump into it... So I decided to come in under my tube - bad choice... I wound up scraping the TOP of my foot on the bottom of the river (which is like a very rough sandpaper) - it was only about the size of a dime, but it was right at the joint where my big toe and next toe meet - which means, my flip-flops were useless for the remainder of the trip (and for those who care to know, at the writing of this, it is STILL healing). Sigh.

Back to the lazy river fiasco... So, first we lost Bernadette and her DH (Gene)... For a long time there, I was by myself. I knew Bernadette and Gene were behind me, and I knew the kids were in front of me. So, I paddled from the cave all the way around the lazy river until I finally met up with the kids. Phew! I was starting to get nervous. So, I hung out with the kids for a while... Then I was wondering why I wasn't seeing any PHotopass photographers... We hadn't had a picture all day. So, the girls told me they had seen one a while back... So, a paddling the kids and I went... Around the lazy river again. At some point we lost Emma (lovesdumbo's youngest - she's 10?). In our search for Emma - we found a PHotopass photographer...

>Insert photopass picture here<

We exited where we initally entered - and we decided to wait there for Emma. We thought she was behind us... We had no idea where Bernadette and Gene went, but I had all the rest of the kids. After waiting a while for Emma, Victoria decided to paddle the river to look for her. I told her to meet us back by our chairs. It was crazy!

Eventually, after quite some time... I think it was Gene who found Emma?

And they wanted to do the wave pool again - which took them about an HOUR. LOL So, Bernadette and I sat in our lounge chairs and chatted. It was so nice and relaxing. I so enjoyed spending time with her and her family. Bernadette was one of my first friends here on The Dis - and we have so much in common - it was really alot of fun!

All in all - it was a very fun day! All of our kids enjoyed spending time together, and I think it was good for all of them to spend some time with other kids that weren't their respective siblings. :thumbsup2 Thank you Bernadette and family for a fun and wonderful BB day! :lovestruc
We had such a great time with you and the girls!

I really tried to get my crew up and moving to get there for rope drop but we were all exhausted from our Kennedy Space Center day the day before. We heard the rope drop as we were walking up. I was so upset thinking we would never find you and there you were!

OK I didn’t have my glasses on but I didn’t see any rainboots. I saw sandals (like Tevas) and black socks! And I still think chances are good he was wearing a woman’s suit not a man’s speedo. I am still shocked you didn’t walk away and distance yourself from me when I jokingly told DH he needed a new suit not knowing this guy was less than 2 feet away. I’m hoping he didn’t speak English.

I think Alli won! I think I may have gone the fastest but it wasn’t so easy to get started.

I am SOOOOO sorry about that whole Lazy River fiasco! My DH is the slowest moving person ever! How did he go so slow on that river?:confused3 I kept slowing down trying to get him to catch up to me and kept telling him we had to catch up to our kids but he seemed to take the whole “LAZY” thing a bit too literal! V was SOOOO nice to go find Emma. I’m sure Emma will always remember V was the one who came to rescue her. So the next time I do a lazy river I am going to make sure everyone knows where to get out! I think we should have a family rule that everyone waits for all to catch up at each exit.

Emma & Joe both foolishly took off their Keens in the wave pool and scraped the bottom of their toes. Took a long time to heel.

It was such a wonderful day! I wouldn’t have wanted to meet just any Diser for the first time in a swimsuit but was so excited to meet YOU. My kids LOVED your girls!

I have this photo of Lizzy & V from that day.

Yikes! :rotfl: When we were at typhoon lagoon a hairy man wearing a speedo kept bumping into me in the lazy river. He would just look at me and say "Sorry, I can't help." :scared1:
There was a guy swimming in the Lazy River when we were there. I thought that was a bit strange. He never bumped me I didn't really like some guy swimming under water in that river.....

Hey everyone  This is Allison!! My mom, Dmgeurts, calls me Alli because she is lazy ;) This is my first post, but i need 9 more to post some of those pictures you all have been waiting for! :)
Welcome Allison! LOVE your photos!

I don’t think too many here would call your Mom lazy.;)

I make PB&J shakes at home all the time for Bradey. Usually a PB&Choc for me :) Might have to try them next time.

Love V and the Goofy hat! Too funny :)

We ate at 50's too, but I did not have a PB&J shake - not a big fan of PB or peanuts in general. I did have a vanilla shake though, it was yummy! Charlie said he didn't want to eat there again. He doesn't like grumpy servers! We know it was just an act, but he said he wants to eat in a happy place!

We also ate at Sci-Fi - I had the ribs and they were very good. I didn't really want to eat another burger, since we usually end up eating them for lunch. Don't remember off the top of my head what Charlie ate though.

I don't drink much either, but I really enjoyed the sangria at Via Napoli, too. We also had the Strongbow cider at the Rose & Crown, which was very good. I think those were the only alcoholic drinks I had while we were there.

Love the Dracula bag!

Charlie wants to do at least one water park on our next trip. I'll have to remember to bring the water shoes!

Zumba is so much fun! I started taking a class a few years ago, and now I have all the videos to do in my home. I'm trying to get my sister-in-law to take the class they offer at our gym with me.

I have honestly never had the PB&J malt. But it's on my food list. :thumbsup2

Hahahahaha! V getting caught in the hat. And you, being the awesome Mom you are, caught it on camera. Well done!

Burgers are definitely the way to go at Sci Fi. Except in your case with the raw middle. That's terrible!

D-

LOVE, LOVE the Dracula Mickey bag! I had guessed it was going to be a Christmas bag, but I love the Halloween theme! My birthday is the day before Halloween. It is a great time to have a birthday! 2 days of celebrating- back to back! :cool1: One of these years I'm going to be at WDW for my birthday just so that I can go to MNSSHP!!

Your Rapunzel pictures turned out so cute! I can hardly wait to meet her next trip!

The PB&J malt sounds awesome! It is on my food list! I have heard great things about them. We have not eaten at 50's Prime Time yet. We have eaten at Sci-Fi and it is one of my family's favorites! I agree with you though on the meat...no pink for this girl either! And like a PP, I always cut my burgers in half too. To check for pink and make them easier to eat!!

Still trying to catch up. Your made to order pasta from POR looked great! Why didn't you take the boat back to POFQ?

We were at Epcot that Saturday. I'm surprised we didn't run into you. I had left Gene & kids in the park with Terry & Halley while I went back to BWV to get our luggage delivered & room all settled. I had dinner at BW Bakery & got a Napolean. It was great. I got one from France a few days later and it wasn't as good.

So glad you made it to Poly in time.

So, just a minute ago - I walked out to the kitchen to get my water ready for my morning work out... I glance into the livingroom... I guess someone fell asleep this morning while studying...

LOL
20130912_073532.jpg

Poor Maxy-Moose... It's tough work learning English... (nevermind that he isn't supposed to be on the furniture...)

D~
So cute!!!

Love your Cheshire bag! That lining is so perfect.

Can't believe you had never been to WPE before.

You all did a great job on your Eeyores.

How was the Starring Roll's Napolean?

How disappointing about Monsters meet & greet.

It probably was the heat... I feel so badly for them. I wonder if they have fans or anything in those suits to cool them off? I would hope so - but I have no idea how they would do it?
After repeatedly finding our mascot passed out somewhere from the Phoenix heat (football season might be crisp other places but we are still over 100 usually closer to 110), they bought a costume with slots to put ice packs into it. Still hot but no passed out wildcats.

Pink hamburgers - EEEEK! I can not handle anything pink. My mom was a vegetarian so anything resembling raw and bloody grosses me out. Can't handle touching raw meat. If I have to, I am not eating it. Good thing my honey does a lot of cooking. I tend to burn everything in the overzealous attempt to have not pink/raw. Black = Done. Not tasty, but done.

This is just fantastic... And such great memories for you! Thank you so much for sharing - it makes me want to pack up my car and go for a drive.

WHOOT! I cannot wait to hear all about it!

I was very lucky to have been able to make all these great memories with my grandparent's. I have great one's with my parent's too of course.

Neither can I!! Oh wait I've got to start planning it first. :lmao: But before I can there are some room parent duties I need to do for both Jeremy and Sarah's classes. Plan on doing that tomorrow and getting some ideas from DH about the trip. Want his input before I do too much and find out he had different ideas.

Love all the memories your able to make with your girls. Always fun to read what you guys were up to.

That was an adorable photo of all of you bellied up to the bar with your PB&J shakes. Now you have me curious about trying one. I mean it must be good if it is a featured shake right?

Cute hat photos with V... she is giving Kathy's husband Mark a run for his money!

Until this last trip I've tried to stick to burgers at Sci-Fi. I still have not been wowed there!

Looking forward to more fun in your day. :)

Love the photo of V stuck in the hat!

I would have LOVED that hamburger! I want to hear a "MOO" when I stick my meat with a fork! Sorry you didn't like it.

I look forward to reading your TR every evening before bed. I dream about your gorgeous bags!

Too bad about the burger...and that is the exact reason my daughter in law will not eat in dark restaurants!

Nini

That Mickey Vampire bag is to die for! :lmao: Seriously, wonderful work, all of your stitching is perfect! Have you been sewing all your life? I wish I had more time to work on sewing projects. It's so nice to see something you made come to life and then enjoyed by others.

Those PB&J milkshakes sounds wonderful. Kudos to the people beside you that could share one, I could never do that. Sometimes you just can't share!

How fun that you got to meet up with old friends on the trip!

Christine

Wow!!! You all kept my TR hoppin' yesterday! Lots of replies this morning!

Love the pictures and the Halloween bag is adorable. You are very talented.

Thanks Bob!

Talented in 2 big ways, your T.R. is very exciting and full of what's going to come up next and your bags are very beautiful.

Enjoying the ride.....

Awww... Thank you very much!

The ONLY way you are allowed to slow down on your TR is is you start a PTR...I need my D~ fix every morning with my coffee...

Nini

Hahaha... OK, ok...

I'm with NiniMorris......I read your TR while I eat breakfast and drink coffee! Great start to the day!!!!

LOL - alright... I thought I would ask.

Dang it! this is the second bad review of Sci Fi!!! and it's one of my favorite places!!!

I am not sure what to tell you. I do know the girls want to do BOTH 50's and Sci-Fi next trip... Do they do the deluxe-deluxe ddp? LOL :rolleyes1

I don't know D~... A PB&J malt just does NOT sound appetizing! the PB does i just can't imagine jelly in a malt... Help me understand this...

It's super good... That's all I can say. I was skeptical at first - but mmmmm...

I lOVE the pictures!!!

V getting stuck is BY FAR MY FAVORITE!!!!!!

Mine too!

While that PB&J milkshake looks yummy, I don't think I would like it since I don't like PB&J sandwiches. Now a chocolate one I could do! Glad you got your favorite treat.

The peanut butter is definately a more prominent flavor...

The Goofy hat pictures are hilarious!

Thanks!

I haven't eaten at Sci Fi since 2011. For some reason, I don't remember burgers on the menu at all? I ended up getting a steak dish which was really good.

That's good to know... Maybe I will try the steak next time?

So, I have made PB&J shakes at home from a Disney recipe...but I have never actually had one at Sci-Fi. I thought my homemade ones were delicious. I am not a big fan of malt, so I probably never will try the malt, just the shake.

That's the funny thing about these - they call them "malts" , but I cannot taste any malt flavoring in them - so I think they are really shakes. They just put "malt" on the menu because it sounds more 50's?

That picture of V stuck in the Goofy hat? HI.LAR.I.OUS!!!!! Yes, your baby has grown since the picture of the little girl with her head in the hat!

Yah - I think she was trying to recreate that scene... Didn't go so well for her. LOL

We were not big Sci-Fi fans either, but we had not ordered burgers. Our opinion was why waste a TS credit on something we could get from CS? Just not convinced that a burger could be that good. You have confirmed that we made the right choice.

That is a good theory to have, and one I had never thought of. Ordinarily - I am all for trying someting different, but like I said - the burgers had the only real consistant good reviews - so I thought it best to stick with them.

I think I am all caught up. You are knocking these updates out like nobody's business. I am impressed.

Sorry... I am just so excited to tell you all about it!

First of all kudos on the zumba!

Thanks! We went back last night and did a second free trial... It was fun. Next week is when the classes actually start.

How disappointing about the sulley and mike greeting. V's ears are so cute, I can't blame her for being heartbroken.

Yes - it was just sad and disappointing.

A shake from 50's and a burger from Sci-Fi sounds ideal. Best of both worlds, except I can't blame you for not finishing the burger. Eeks! I would hate to get food poisoning on vacation, especially a Disney one.

I know! That kept running through my head... There is no way I could even take another bite of it.

Wonderful bag, as usual. How can Mickey with fangs still be so adorable? But you made it happen with your sewing skills. the little bat on the wallet is perfect. I'm sure this auction will be a hot one based on just the posting going on your TR.

Thanks Liz! I love it - it really turned out cute! And I LOVE that interior fabric - I really want to make something for myself with it someday.

Glad you had fun at Zumba. I will be a boost to your exercise regiment to have some friends to go with, plus once the weather cools off it will be nice to have some place warm to work out.

I hope so.. We had a lot of fun! We always seem to when we are together - so that's good. Now, if all this excercising would just WORK - that would be nice. I keep telling myself that I am improving my overall health - and that's what's important, but my size hasn't changed at all over the last month - and that's a little frustrating.

And V with the "old lady" comments....doesn't she know you have a picture of her stuck in a Goofy Hat.

Exactly! LOL

Those milkshakes do look good but I'm not sure about the "J" in the PB&J milkshake. Enjoyed seeing the girls having some fun at the parks. That is another nice thing about a Disney vacation, it gives you a chance to just relax and have fun - even if you are not enjoying an attraction.

Oooh - but they are good Liz... You must try one!

You can't slow down. Your trip report is a necessary part of my daily reading.

Hahaha... Thanks. It's part of mine too. :rolleyes1

And I enjoy the updates on your sewing projects, too. I used to make quilts and it is fun to see what you are working on. It makes me think I should get out the old Bernina again.

Yes!!! You should!!!! Go have some fun with it!!! And go check out the Disboutiquers in the "families" section... They are amazing and super helpful!

Great update!

Thanks!

Just caught up. Love the ears and the bags! Now I'm trying to figure out how to fit in making a bag for our trip. My Vera Bradley one just doesn't seem adequate! And I might just have to go on a hunt for cute ears too!

Oooh - yes you should! It's so much FUN going to Disney all decked out!!! It's the only place where I get to be a kid with my kids - and what's better than that? :woohoo:

Love it the Pb &J shake is soooo good eh? we tried it for the first time in May n I have to get another one in december for sure!!! Also I don't have the option to pm you for some reason so if u can pm me on how to get the headbands that would be great THanks

Seee!!! Another vote for the PB*J shake... Mmmm... I have the recipe, but it just isn't the same at home. LOL

I did send you a PM... Not sure why the Dis wouldn't let you PM me?

What a fun day! May have to add the ppj shake to my list. How were the well done hamburgers? My husband hates hamburgers even a little pink and we really want to so sci fi!

Yes!!! It's the greatest! I think the well done ones were OK, I didn't note otherwise in my journal - I would have (I am sure) if they were bad. I will try to ask the girls if they remember.

D, great update.

Since I refuse to ever eat at 50's Prime Time again, I'll have to suggest to Mark that we stop and sit at the bar for one of those shakes for him (I don't do peanut butter...but he loves it).

Yes, you'll have to get Mark to try them. I also know from previous experience - you can order them "to-go" - but it's just not the same as sitting at the bar and slurping it down. :thumbsup2

Love the photos of V getting stuck in the Goofy hat...those are priceless.

Hahaha.... Thanks!

I always cut my burger in half before eating it; I like mine well or medium well; but if there is too much pink it is going right back. Mark will not stand for any pink at all. I'm glad you didn't get sick from it and that you had enough with that yummy shake of yours.

You know what - I do the same thing... And I did it for this burger too - but I think because it was dark in there, I didn't notice it right away.

Sorry I got a bit behind. I’m going to have to post just up to our BB day for now and get caught up later.

Hi Bernadette!!! It's great to see you!

I did sneak a peak at Dracula Mickey. So awesome!

Thank you!

I will let you know what I think of OKW. I was a bit disappointed with BWV. I know I can't give up on it because we own there and because I know we really do love it there but the issues with the room weren't fun. AND….I just changed the last 3 nights of my December trip to a Lake View Studio at Bay Lake Tower. So we get to try 2 new DVC resorts!!!! Really excited about Bay Lake

Ooooh - that's super exciting!!! I cannot wait to hear your review on both of them now. LOL

I'll have to let Emma know. I think she'll get a kick out of knowing you're still wearing yours!

Yes - please do that! I love mine... I've actually been debating on asking you if she'd be willing to make me a few more (I'd pay her, of course), but they are so comfortable and cute!

Oooh - the grapefruit martini sounds very interesting!

We really must have just missed each other. I did look for us in your photos but yours do look a bit darker than mine.

I bet you were walking aroudn the cars section while we were eating?

We had such a great time with you and the girls!

We had a wonderful time with you all, as well.

I really tried to get my crew up and moving to get there for rope drop but we were all exhausted from our Kennedy Space Center day the day before. We heard the rope drop as we were walking up. I was so upset thinking we would never find you and there you were!

I know - I was a bit worried about finding you all, as well. So, I was super happy (and shocked) to see you walking into the locker area at the same time I was. That was easy. LOL

OK - maybe it was Tevas and socks? The girls had said rain boots - so that's what I went with. But I totally agree with you - I thought it was socks, as well. Maybe he is just like me, and he can't wear his Keens with out socks? But let's pick a color that's NOT black. LOL

And I totally agree - I do think he was wearing a women's bikini bottom... The hibiscus flowers on his rear were kind of a dead give away. LOL

I think Alli won! I think I may have gone the fastest but it wasn’t so easy to get started.

It was a super fun slide though- and it was super fun to be able to go all together.

I am SOOOOO sorry about that whole Lazy River fiasco! My DH is the slowest moving person ever! How did he go so slow on that river? I kept slowing down trying to get him to catch up to me and kept telling him we had to catch up to our kids but he seemed to take the whole “LAZY” thing a bit too literal! V was SOOOO nice to go find Emma. I’m sure Emma will always remember V was the one who came to rescue her. So the next time I do a lazy river I am going to make sure everyone knows where to get out! I think we should have a family rule that everyone waits for all to catch up at each exit.

Hahaha... It makes for a good story though. V was just happy to get back in to the water again - any excuse is good for her, she is always up for an adventure. LOL Glad we finally found Emma though - I was starting to get a bit concerned there for a while. Yup, next time there will be a rule and everyone will know where to get out before we get in. It would be nice if they would mark the exits though - some of them look an awful lot alike.

Emma & Joe both foolishly took off their Keens in the wave pool and scraped the bottom of their toes. Took a long time to heel.

Oh no... Mine is finally healed a bit, but it still itches under the skin - like I can tell it's not toally healed yet. It's just the most bizarre thing ever.

It was such a wonderful day! I wouldn’t have wanted to meet just any Diser for the first time in a swimsuit but was so excited to meet YOU. My kids LOVED your girls!

I totally agree! We had so much fun and it was great for us to have others with us this day - and for the girls to be able to hang out with someone other than their mom. LOL It was a great time! And I was so happy to finally get to meet you - we've been friends for so long on here!

I have this photo of Lizzy & V from that day.

I do have a similar one - I think? It's so cute! I just loved all of your kids! They were all so nice and well mannered!

Welcome Allison! LOVE your photos!

I don’t think too many here would call your Mom lazy.

Hahaha... Yah - yah- you tell her!! :rotfl2:

Yippee!!! I'm SO excited!!!

No Way!!! I love having a new update to read each day! Keep 'em coming!

Awesome! Glad you are enjoying the updates... I will try to keep them moving along.

I make PB&J shakes at home all the time for Bradey. Usually a PB&Choc for me Might have to try them next time.

Just sayin' - they are waaaay better in Disney. LOL

Love V and the Goofy hat! Too funny

LOL Thanks!

Welcome home Tess!!! Again - LOL. And LOL about Charlie wanting to eat at a happy place... I totally get it - but when I am there - I want them grumpy with me. Next time, I am going to pretend that we've never eaten there before. LOL

We also ate at Sci-Fi - I had the ribs and they were very good. I didn't really want to eat another burger, since we usually end up eating them for lunch. Don't remember off the top of my head what Charlie ate though.

This is good to know... Next time I am going to try something other than a burger.

I don't drink much either, but I really enjoyed the sangria at Via Napoli, too. We also had the Strongbow cider at the Rose & Crown, which was very good. I think those were the only alcoholic drinks I had while we were there.

The sangria sounds interesting... Not sure I could do a cider - Josh likes them, but I don't.

Love the Dracula bag!

Thanks!

Charlie wants to do at least one water park on our next trip. I'll have to remember to bring the water shoes!

Yes - I highly recommend something for your feet.

Zumba is so much fun! I started taking a class a few years ago, and now I have all the videos to do in my home. I'm trying to get my sister-in-law to take the class they offer at our gym with me.

I do like it a lot - but my body doesn't move like that. LOL So, I really look like I am freaking out - my coworkers are often in hysterics with me... but it's all good - I figure if my body is moving - that's good right? LOL

I have honestly never had the PB&J malt. But it's on my food list.

Yes! It should be.

Hahahahaha! V getting caught in the hat. And you, being the awesome Mom you are, caught it on camera. Well done!

Exactly! LOL As it should be.

Burgers are definitely the way to go at Sci Fi. Except in your case with the raw middle. That's terrible!

Yah - I was feeling a little barfy after that. But I tried not to think about it.

D-

LOVE, LOVE the Dracula Mickey bag! I had guessed it was going to be a Christmas bag, but I love the Halloween theme! My birthday is the day before Halloween. It is a great time to have a birthday! 2 days of celebrating- back to back! One of these years I'm going to be at WDW for my birthday just so that I can go to MNSSHP!!

OOOh - yes - a fantastic tim for a birthday! And you MUST do MNSSHP for your birthday one year - it would be so memorable!

Your Rapunzel pictures turned out so cute! I can hardly wait to meet her next trip!

Thanks! And she was super awesome with the girls - which I find to be rare these days at WDW, since they are older. But we had mostly great princess experiences the whole time.

You should try 50's some time... It's a cool place.

I had cut that burger in half, because I always do - but I just didn't notice how pink it was right away - it was soooo dark in there.

Still trying to catch up. Your made to order pasta from POR looked great! Why didn't you take the boat back to POFQ?

LOL - sorry there is so much to catch up on.

We didn't take the boat because it had been raining, and I coudln't remember if they stopped the boats for rain or just thunder/lightening... and I didn't feel like walking all the way back there to check. So, that's why we didn't take the boat. LOL

I am surprised we didn't run into you either. Where were you during the downpour?

So glad you made it to Poly in time.

Me too!

Love your Cheshire bag! That lining is so perfect.

Thank you!!! IT was a cool bag to make - I'd never done any AiW bags before.

Can't believe you had never been to WPE before.

Nope - but it was good... I think we need more DTD days - if only for the food. LOL

You all did a great job on your Eeyores.

Thanks! He was fun to draw.

How was the Starring Roll's Napolean?

It was MUCh better than than the one from the bakery in France... However - by the time I'd eaten the one from the bakery - it was semi-warm... and I am sorry - but that's best as a cold dessert. LOL

How disappointing about Monsters meet & greet.

Yah - she still talks about how sad she was about it. Poor kid.

It probably was the heat... I feel so badly for them. I wonder if they have fans or anything in those suits to cool them off? I would hope so - but I have no idea how they would do it?
I sure hope the Disney characters have those in their suits.

[Pink hamburgers - EEEEK!

Hahaha... I don't mind a little pink... but this was... Eeeep - just can't even think about it. LOL

I was very lucky to have been able to make all these great memories with my grandparent's. I have great one's with my parent's too of course.

Neither can I!! Oh wait I've got to start planning it first. But before I can there are some room parent duties I need to do for both Jeremy and Sarah's classes. Plan on doing that tomorrow and getting some ideas from DH about the trip. Want his input before I do too much and find out he had different ideas.

Love all the memories your able to make with your girls. Always fun to read what you guys were up to.

I hope you get to start planning soon - that's the best part!

That was an adorable photo of all of you bellied up to the bar with your PB&J shakes. Now you have me curious about trying one. I mean it must be good if it is a featured shake right?

Thanks! I love that photo too! Yes, you must try one!

Cute hat photos with V... she is giving Kathy's husband Mark a run for his money!

Hahaha... but Mark is the original hat-tryer-oner. LOL

Until this last trip I've tried to stick to burgers at Sci-Fi. I still have not been wowed there!

I know... Personally - I could take Sci-fi or leave it, but the girls want to go back - we will see...

Looking forward to more fun in your day.

Thanks - me too! LOL

Love the photo of V stuck in the hat!

LOL Yah - I was laughing hysterically at that point.

I would have LOVED that hamburger! I want to hear a "MOO" when I stick my meat with a fork! Sorry you didn't like it.

Had I known - I would have saved it for you. LOL

I look forward to reading your TR every evening before bed. I dream about your gorgeous bags!

LOL At least I am not the only one who dreams about them.

Too bad about the burger...and that is the exact reason my daughter in law will not eat in dark restaurants!

Nini

I don't blame her! I can see why now...

**********************************************************

I had a great day yesterday!

I was able to get my custom order cut out and quitled. WHOOT!

Then I was able to take a few minutes to work on one of my special projects... I made a nice little dent in it too.

The girls and I had breakfast for dinner... Josh's back still isn't doing well - so he didn't have dinner last night.

Then Alli and I went to Zumba with my coworkers... Alli wanted to try it out too. It was a lot of fun again. Then we decided to stay for a second class (Zumba toning)... Ummm, not such a great idea. We were all zombies by the end of it. LOL Thankfully I work at Target today - so we can all be hurtin' together. Surprisingly enough - I am not in any pain today... Just tired.

Yup - I work at Target today... I hope they have some fun projects for me to work on. I love working there this time of year - we are always busy. From Back-to-School until the end of the Christmas rush - we are always on our toes and it makes my days go so much faster.

I should have lots of fabric in my mail box this morning from my online shopping endeavors this weekend... I can't wait to see it all in person!

I hope you all have a fantastic day today!!!

Christine

Actually - I have only been sewing for 3 years... Here's my story - if you're bored and want to read it. LOL

***** Learning to Sew

The PBn' J shakes are incredible! I love them!
