First off, love your new Avatar picture.

And this "As we were walking off the Monorail platform - guess who we bump into... It's Diser Taryn... Remember - she's the one who I ran into after our LAST Monorail fiasco - on our way to CRT... Now, I didn' think about this then - but I have given it some thought since we have been home... I don't think it was us who was causing all the Monorail issues... Taryn was very nearby for all of them - so I think it was her."

Too funny, obviously Taryn was causing all the problems on the monorail. ;) I can't believe it took you an hour to get to the Poly and you had to walk.

Glad you and Suzi got to be in Disney at the same time. :yay:

Okay, I'm finally all caught up once again. Hopefully I won't get behind any more.

I do love your new photo and think you should keep it!

I have been enjoying your updates and photos so much! Some of them bring back great memories and others make me want to try something I've never done before. I do like those bracelets V got. When I was in girl scouts (a loooong time ago!) we made necklaces out of colorful magazine pages by tearing them and rolling them up. Then we strung them on thread and shellacked them to preserve them. They turned out much prettier than any of us thought they would and we loved them. Maybe I'll try that again with all the maps I have of Disney!

I can't comment on everything, but of course the bags are TDF! Once again! The Sully captures his expression perfectly as does the Cheshire cat. Great job as always, and I love the fabric choices too.

I am finally feeling better. Still not excited about eating, but much better. Hope V's ears pop soon. I know that feeling all too well and it's the pits. Poor thing!

It's great to see Alli's pics on here as well. I know she's busy, but she does such a wonderful job and I'm so glad she makes time to post a few.

Just a word about when they go away to college. I found that, even though I missed them like crazy, there was a sort of evolution or a shift in our relationship that made it different, sort of more mature, deeper? I don't know exactly how to describe it, but it took on more layers and certainly had them expressing their appreciation for all that I did for them as they were growing up. Also, I did enjoy my freedom to do whatever, whenever. I found that if I dwelled on how much I missed them and how different our family dynamic was, I would have been miserable. So I chose to focus on the positive side of being an empty nester and just sort of reinvented my life. I had raised them to be independent and I couldn't very well complain or be sad that they were making their own way in the world. You'll be the same I'm sure.

As for a solo trip in December, how about a girls trip with DIS friends?? Since it will be a couple of years from now, there's plenty of time to get something organized. I just love Disney during Christmas! It is even more magical than usual, but then I LOVE all things Christmas! It's something to think about!

Okay, I've taken up enough of your space for now. And I have to get to the grocery store as well, plus I'm doing laundry. Hope you have a great savings day shopping. Oh, and if your BFF didn't have luck getting the make-up out of the bag, try BLUE Dawn dishwashing liquid. It get stains out that have been washed and dried in! Trust me. It works every time. Catch you later.

I am thinking when C hits high school I may leave her and dh home and head down with Sami and J. We should plan some thing for some day. I live your report it is always such fun.

Love your new avatar picture. Once again a great update. The lunch at Akershus looked good.

Hi Mo!

Hahaha!!! How is your trip planning going?

Going OK...We're down in the 40's. Still have a few T Shirts to make, and I'm crocheting a Minnie Mouse bag for DGD

I need to stop by your PTR and catch up.

err...I've been a bad girl. Haven't updated in a couple of months. Still have Mary and Kyle left at the altar for their wedding.

Part of the reason..I was in the hospital for a week in mid-July. :( Missed that crochet convention that I was looking forward to.

Blood clots in the leg that spread to the lung. Have to be careful travelling to Disney. Frequent stops; at least one every two hours. Doctors think that the constant travelling in the car this summer led to the blood clots.

From there - we took the Monorail to MK... We stalled again - but this time, we had nowhere to be, so we just waited it out.

Will we ever get off the Monorail? Will we ever make it back to our resort? Or are we just destined to spend the rest of our trip on the Monorail?

Hmm. Reading that makes me remember that song called the "MTA." I think it's by the Kingston Trio. Are you familiar with it? It's about poor Charlie who's stuck on the Boston subway system, because he didn't have enough money to get off the train.

Going to do this fast today. Work is picking up and multi-tasking is getting to be too much.
~GREAT new photo!!!
~Thanks for the info on disboutiquers. Will check that out.
~Maxy Moose is just too cute. Just not on the furniture.
~Akerhaus looks adorable and food looks so yummy.
~Again, another fabulous job on the Cheshire bag. Love the idea for the tail.

On a side note, my nephew leaves for WDW tomorrow. I have to admit I am so jealous. Yes, he is staying at your favorite hotel. Told him to send me some pics so I can get my Disney fix.

Have a fabulous day and enjoy your weekend!!!

Missed out on yesterdays post because I had to go to a one day conference with our bank. Nothing like a whole day of listening to them advertise their products. :crazy2: Once in a while we do get a tidbit out of it so I guess that's why the boss makes me go.

Your meal at Akershus looks yummy. I've never had a desire to try that one, not much into the princess meals.

Love that recycled jewelry! I need to get a piece on this next trip.

I've never been in Cool Club and don't know if I will since we have the same thing at the World of Coke in Atlanta.

Oh my gosh, you guys and the Monorail problems! :rotfl: At least you finally made it to see Suzi. Hope you eventually made it back to your resort.

ETA: Cannot believe I forgot to mention the new bag! Love the tail! What a great addition to the bag!

Pretty wild that you have the 3 moms of triplets posting on your TR. I think that might be a disboards record.

Hahaha :dance3:

D~ LOVE the new bag. (I LOVE all your bags.) We ran into so many monorail issues our 2 trips last year. It's so frustrating.

I had the meatballs at Akershus too! They are delicious as are the desserts.

D, I failed to mention yesterday that I love the new avatar.

I must admit I do not like that picture of Suzi, Sarah and Bradey...because I don't like that ME bus because it's a sad one, and I know they are getting on it. :sad2::sad2::sad2:

And now you know why Mark and I avoid the monorail if at all possible.

I just wanted to say hi! I started reading your TR the other day while I was still at Disney, waiting for the MK bus back to POFQ. You inspired me to try beignets before I left, and I thank you for that! They were yummy.

Since I got home, I read your other TR. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun, and your sewing is awesome :thumbsup2

Looking forward to more!

The triplet thing is the COOL thing to do... :smokin:

everyone should do it...

I've always said that should we ever have been blessed with children I would have loved to have multiples - only children tend to grow up....singularly minded and getting it all done in one go seemed right to me. Now I'm to old for any babies. Yup, to old, too set in my ways, too cranky, too paranoid....etc.

And D~ gets things in 3s - three sets of triplets, three Ruth(IE)s, etc.

I saw the Cheshire Cat bag on FB and waited to comment here - I love the tail, your 3D stuff always turns out better than you first let on.

And hills...I've got the same problem here. Birmingham is the tail end of the Appilachean mountains, so we've got really big hills. There's a nice flat road, easy to get down to but the way back is all up hill. Exhausts me just thinking bout it.

Got to keep repeating myself - Love your T.R. :cool1:

OMG - BTW how do you get away with doing all those multi-quotes without getting timed out. :furious:

Do you do all of your answers and comments on a word doc and then copy and paste?????

Did I ever tell you....that ME bus was at the time we were scheduled, but as it pulled up they told us it wasn't ours and we had to wait for the next one. We waited out there for at least another 10-15 mins. Then had to pick up at GF and WL before a really slow (traffic and weather) ride to the airport. We had to book it to get to our gate in time!

What really pissed me off about it.....we could've spent more time with you guys!!

So....Akerhaus....there is a buffet...and you order something?? I want to try it next time.

Whew! all caught up! lol... I've never thought about heading over to Akershus before... its looked good!
I must say, you are making me very nervous about getting on a monorail... hahaha :rotfl2:

Wow! I just don't know how you do it?

I don't know how I do it either some days!! I have just made my Thursday pick ups a little easier though. I'll be picking Sarah and our neighbor's daughter up for Kindergarten pick up and then she'll be picking Jeremy and her other daughter up from 1st Grade pick up. I'll bring her DD here to play with Sarah for a couple hours and then once they have Jeremy she'll bring him here and pick up her DD. It'll be nice to not have to go the school 3 times. Now to work on the other 4 days!!

I know - after Cindy left - I told them "I think you hurt her feelings" - LOL So, they weren't as vocal about their grumblings after that - they just stood up - took the required picture - then sat back down to eat. LOL

You can kind of tell in the picture that she wasn't smiling as much as a princess should be.

Hope you had a successful shopping trip!!

D~ Your AiW/Cheshire cat bag is fabulous!! :thumbsup2 Love the lining. You have such great details.

Relief! You made your Dismeet send off! I've not seen them hand out pillows and blankets on the monorail yet so I'm guessing that they won't make you stay on the monorail the rest of your trip! :p

Sounds like a nice way to cool off at the Poly. :)
