DCP Spring 2014

Waiting to schedule my phone interview! I didn't get this far when I applied last semester. I'm so very excited and can't wait to get to the interview.

Just submitted my application. Waiting has begun. Could be a long night. Good luck to all of you!

My phone interview is Tuesday at 6:15, I've never been this excited. I can't explain to you guys how I'm feeling right now.
Disney is such a huge important giant part of my life & I would give anything for this opportunity.
Good luck & pixie dust.

Read my application very slowly because they will be asking alot of questions. They made me skip the WBI and now the dreaded phone interview.

I tryed apply 4 years in a row(8 semesters) and still have NEVER gotten in. I will be praying for you all and please pray for me.

Remember, take the phone interview seriously and think about your answers. The most famous questions that always hunt me were

1) What will you do in a emergency situation? (Please don't be stupit and say CALL 911! They HATE this answer!)

2)The guest situation fix and add magical moments! (They asked tons of these[this ONE make or break your interview] questions because they have very diversity of people coming and going from the parks.) THINK DISNEY!!!!

3) Why do you apply to the disney college program? (Be honest with yourself!)

Always have questions at the end! Remeber the person name, who you are interviewing you!(Say thank you fir taking your time and interviewing me or something around those lines)

That's great advice. Definitely things I'm thinking about for my interview. What do you mean by #2 though?

For #2.. they asked a situation of a guest and try and fix it using disney stories

Disney Stories/Personal Disney Experiences are a plus. The interviewers like hearing them. If you don't have any, it's alright. Just think Disney when answering those types of questions.

Also, although it hasn't been mentioned this go around yet...Don't be concerned with the length of the interview. My son's was about 10 minutes, and he is down doing Fall 13 as we speak.

Good Luck, Y'all.

Phone interview Tuesday at 12:30!!! I'm so so nervous!!!! If anybody has anymore potential interview questions they'd like to share I would really appreciate it!!!

I post some on page 8! Look there...

What's an example of a Disney story, if you don't mind me asking? For some reason I'm just kind of confused about that. Thanks!

one question that the interview asked, "How would you greet guests coming into the restaurant?"

Disney Story- Welcome to Prime time 50 cafe, were the 50's come alive with all around you. (I might mess this up)

or "Imagine you were the character attendant for a Disney Character, and the line was getting longer and longer, but the character has to go off stage! What will you tell the guess?" (Alice in Wonderland)

Disney Story- Alice has a very important tea party with the Mad Hatter. She will be back after she has her afternoon tea!

These were taking from another post in the DIS Board thread... Disney Stories are all around you!
