Hi Ellen! I am back from my trip and now caught up with your (sadly) completed TR. Can't believe I was not enjoying that horrible last-day breakfast myself just two days ago!

(BTW, because of your TRs, I tried (and enjoyed quite a few of) the Moet Ice champagnes last week. )

just caught up. The spa time looks great and relaxing, you sure know how to unwind well! I love the pic of the boys all enjoying Crush talking to them. It reminds me of that saying I saw on Pintrest, "I don't care how gangster/macho/tough you are when a 2yr old hands you a toy phone... you answer it" kind of the same thought lol.

I agree last breakfasts suck... they should just slide a mcsamich under your door and call it good enough. It packs the same punch to the gut I think lol.

Cant wait to read all about your cali adventure, especially cuz I know how it ended LOL

That last breakfast is truly horrendous. Jeff and I bailed and went to Cabanas instead. Kids insisted on going and regretted it

Smart to avoid the rental car debacle but WAH that it's over.

I know! I don't think I will ever go again- but I always want to see the servers one more time- UGH. Still. Cut the freakin cord already, Ellen. Rip that band aid off!!!

And WAH it's over but the TR that will take me 10 years to write has just begun!

You made me so happy reading your finished report. I really enjoyed that glass of Moet Ice at Pink the last night. We're doing the same cruise next spring break -- I wish you were going to be on it!

Awww....I do too! DCL is my favorite!

Let's definitely plan to get together once school begins. I've got my son home from camp now so I'm taking several afternoons off per week keeping him occupied. Today we are going to the beach.

I JUST got Sean to ride the bus today- he did not go to school the first two days, and on weds I drove him. PM me when you can-

Have a great time in California. Let's plan a lunch one weekend where I can drop my son off at my parents house and we can really talk. In the meantime, good luck with your TA business!

Sliding in really late here. By now you are enjoying your fabulous CA trip! A little birdie on FB told me it is going great! I hope you got out of the Yosemite area before the big fire.

It actually started while we were there (and NO...Tyler is NOT responsible!). But it did not impact our plans...JUST. You'll have to be patient to see what I mean-

Your spa day was the perfect way to end the trip - so relaxing! Thanks for the shout-out about my Apriori products! I was noticing in the pic before how nice your skin looked and I was so proud!

LOL- you should be proud- I love the Apriori stuff! I need to get more facewash- much better than everything else I have tried.

Congrats on your travel agent career! I really should look into it - that would be my dream job. I'm so glad you took this trip with Timmy - precious memories and time you won't have once he's grown and married. Looking forward to hearing all about your Califorina Adventure!!!!

I keep watching the news and hearing more about the awful fire out there, and how it's threatening some of the giant sequoia trees! I hope you aren't having any trouble with that, and that your Cali trip is going smooth! Can't wait for that TR!

The fire was in the North part of the park- on the 120, which was the road we entered the park on. Much better now.

I saw that you were reading- thanks! The Moet Ice is something like $75 a bottle? I forget exactly- I can tell you after this upcoming cruise! By the glass, I think it is about $20 including tip.
