Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

I think that Wishes and Illuminations FP+ are only options on weekends. I had an Illuminations option for a Sunday but not for a Tuesday. I have read others make the same comment on this forum and others.

Hmmm... I'm shooting for a Saturday though? I realize many MK night are probably not offering because of MNSSHP also. Maybe they are also limited? Also strange that Wishes says "available" but then only the attractions and character interactions pop up for selection? Not too worried, we're only selecting for the one MK date anyway. Doing a split stay and the other resort isn't part of the test.

When I log into the web site it will allow me to book it. I only have my AP right now though and am waiting for my friends to come in the mail from UTC before I confirm anything though

1. Where will see if we are part of the test group? Is it only on the app or will we get an email too? Because the app also confuses me.

2. Will we only know if we get fastpass + until we check in online?

3. When is the latest we would find out if we got fastpass +?

1. Login to my disney experience. On the right hand side you should see an option to "customize magic bands"

2. If you link your tickets to my disney experience you should be able to prebook fp+ rides today for your trip

3. I believe they send the email at 17 or 18 days (someone correct me if I'm wrong!). However, no one in this thread has been "invited" (to my knowledge) and the good majority of us have customized our magic bands and chosen fp+.

I was able to log in and customize my MB and book FP+ at 60 days out... Today I got an email from my travel agent telling me that I was chosen to participate in the MB test (57 days out). Keeping my fingers crossed that BOG FP+ open for October!

So we were able to customize our bands on day 64. Today was day 60 and we were then able to make FP+ selection for our trip Oct 26-Nov 2nd at POR. Only paid deposit so far on package. No letter or email to date. We already had our MDE setup with reservation/tickets linked.

So I got the app working this time and I was able to customize magic bands and made fastpass + reservations for tower of terror, midway mania and rock n roller coaster for one of the days. Does this mean we actually have it!?!? I know people were saying they were able to customize bands & get on the fastpass + page but I don't know if they ever got as far as I did.

Just wondering if anyone else has a situation similar to ours. We are doing a split stay at the end of October (first BLT, then AKL Jambo). I just added the AKL stay to MDE today and noticed that I can now access the "customize magic bands" page, which had previously been grayed out when only the BLT reservation was registered. It appears that the AKL part of our vacation is in magic band territory but the first part, at BLT, is not.

Because of that, I'm a little afraid to add park tickets to our MDE account. Not sure if that will mess things up beyond repair, and not sure that I could even use FP+ for the BLT portion of our stay. It would be great to try out the FP+ reservation system for the duration of our trip but it seems a little risky.

Any thoughts?

Where in MDE is the greyed out "customize magic bands"? I know ASMU isn't one of the reported test resorts but I saw a post from someone staying there that she could do it, and I can't even figure out where the option would be if I had it!

Yes, but a lot of people are getting nothing at all. If I weren't staying at AOA, I would have nothing, no free dining, no room discount, no FP+.

i am staying at AOA and have free dining FP+. but its with a pin

We're staying at POR from Oct 26-30, and I was just able to do FP+ today! Very exciting! However, I didn't see any options for any of the fireworks (Wishes or Illuminations), electric parade or Fantasmic, and I've heard that people have been able to reserve those. Anyone had any problems with that? Thanks in advance for any input!

Nope, no Wishes MSEP or Fantasmic for us yet either Oct 19th- Also no bonus 4th MK FP+ either. Waiting....

I also saw someone at ASMU saying they got to choose their MB & FP+, but I'm at 60 days today, staying there, and even after I did online check in, I don't have access to it ?

I know! I saw a similar post about CBR and I've driven myself crazy trying to figure out how to get a silly MB. My husband doesn't even want to hear me talk about it anymore He told me yesterday that I need to stop fixating on this and just enjoy planning the trip. Does he not know me at all?!?!?!?!
