I thought you emailed asking for free dining and got it?? :confused

I did but I am staying at bay lake tower. They didn't offer free dining but I did get it when I emailed them. I have some more family members wanting to go and need more room now. I need a 2 bedroom if they go and can't get a 2 bedroom at bay lake.

What about two separate rooms? I don't know if I would give up a monorail resort. I think Poly sleeps five in a standard room and the Floridian has a new portion with larger rooms. Giving up the convenience of a monorail resort would not be my first choice but that's just me. I think you could find a lot if info on the resort specific thread. Pay special attention to the transportation if you plan on using it and if they are testing magic bands if you are interested in doing so.

Thank you. Very informative. I will look into separate rooms.:):)

I just chatted with a CM....if I want to use my MB like the current FP I can. I just have to go to guest relations and schedule the FP I want. They did tell me that it might be limited as far as times. I'm ok with that as long as I can get on that ride at some point that day. But if I use the KTTW cards, I can use that like I'm not a MB tester.

I thinking about switching my resort to Disney Old Key West for the room discount or free dining. Anyone know of any reasons why I should not? Like construction or it's too far away from everything or on bad part of bus line? Any great things about this resort? I have never seen any of these resorts. Any info would be greatly appreciated.:):):):scratchin:):):)

Kathie I can think where Old Key West resort is??? Is it a DTD resort? Where are you now? I can't keep everyone straight. I would see if they have a thread on here and check that out.

Ooh! I think I would stay put at Bay Lake on that monerail. I have heard great things about BL.

Finally, there was a room at Port Orleans Riverside for 5 people with free dining for the dates we wanted! So we're going Nov 21-27! So excited! There were also other Riverside dates open in October too that weren't open yesterday.

Good for you!:thumbsup2:cool1::yay::cheer2:

Now just send me some of your pixie dust; we need one more night at the end of our stay. Ever since we booked airfare and got a good rate to leave a day later, there has been no FD availability for that night.:guilty: We got a RO for that night, but it would be so much more of a deal to get FD since POR only gets 5% off.

Hi Dis'ers. I have been following the thread for a while now and I am hoping somone can help me plan a trip... I usually let my wife do all the planning but she left this one up to me. :faint:

Looking to plan a november trip this year w/ free dining and my hotel options would be POLY? The Boardwalk Inn? The Beach Club ? Or the PO Riverside ?

My wife and I stayed at POR a very long time ago and liked it very much,which makes me think we should go there again BUT this time we are traveling w/ three children. Where would you stay? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :headache:popcorn::

I've never stayed at a deluxe resort (too far out of budget, unfortunately). I know the Boardwalk Inn & Beach Club look VERY nice from the outside, & you can take a boat to EP from them. Poly is on the monorail system which makes travel to MK & EP pretty easy. We're staying at POR in Sep - will be 1st time staying at moderate.
I would look at the amenities of each one you're considering and see which you think the kids would enjoy more. If it's in your budget, go for the deluxe. If not, I doubt anyone would be disappointed with POR. Good luck & keep us posted on what you decide.
