Hey, all!! My hubby and I just booked our first cruise with DCL!!! I've been on one cruise before with a different cruise line and this will be my husband's first cruise ever!!! We are so excited!!! Just requested to join the facebook page.

We have two kids which we will not be bringing. I feel bad! But this will be my husband's and my first vacation with just the two of us since our honeymoon 5.5 years ago. So it's much needed and deserved!! I figure, we can "test" the cruise and will know the best things to do with our kids when we book our next (because I'm sure we will do this again!!).

Hey everyone. We are traveling from the Disney/Kissimmee area day of the cruise and driving down. Does anyone want to car pool with us and split the costs of gas/parking. WARNING it will be a VERY Early Start. Im aiming to get to the port at 10! just because im too excited to wait at home!

Just to let you know, if you get to the port too early (before the time you chose when you did your online check-in) they may not let you in the terminal building. Also, the terminal does not open until 11:00.

Our shuttle (from our hotel) got us there at about 10:30ish we were about 10th in line and we had to wait. So this is correct.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am starting up a new FE group. If anyone wants to join in let me know.
I will need the names of the people in your room, ages, and interests. Oh and also your room numbers. And an email address. I will send the final list to everyone's email address. I am not sure when the cut off day should be yet. We will see how much participation we have.

Also, has anyone on this particular sailing with a gty room type been assigned? We have two gty cabins booked and am hoping we may get adjoining. There are 5 in our group-me, mu hubby, and 3 little boys.

Hello, I am not sure I am doing this response right. i hope so. We have done the VGT and the GTY a couple of times. And they are pretty good about putting you in adjoining rooms. with family. We are VGT again this time. You usually don't get your room assignments until right at 15 days before the cruise.

Actually, you can get your room assigned at anytime. We were GTY and received our room assignment on 8/12.

I think GTYs usually come earlier, but a VGT come around 18-10ish days before.

HI, I went ahead and called them and they said that VGT rooms won't be posted till the last week before the cruise. That was very dissappointing. I wonder why it is so much later?

I am trying to decide if I should go out and buy an evening gown. I have been on 5 cruises, but never bought one before. but the only time it seemed like it would have been nice to have one was on the Fantasy cruise I went on. I am wondering if this cruise will be the same.
