Best upscale restaurant?

Ok experts. I need opinions on what you think the best upscale restaurant is at Disney, (anywhere on property). Trying to make reservations for February for our 10th anniversary, and I want something special.

I'm really leaning towards a "Chef experience" like Flying Fish or Jiko... only ones I can think of. But if you guys think that's overrated and that there are better options, I want to hear that too!

Yes Victoria and Alberts is the nicest however it is quite pricy...

Both Flying Fish and Jiko are great options too

As the PP said, the "best" (or at least most universally agreed upon "best" here on the Disboard) is Victoria and Albert. It's also the most expensive places to eat.

Of the two you mentioned, I really like Jiko. Both are good, but Jiko has the edge. I haven't tried the Chef's Experience at FF, but the food at Jiko was very good. It has low lighting and deep earth tones, so it can be "romantic". Flying Fish is very vibrant. Either way, both are good choices.

V&A by far.

If you're looking for something a little less "extremely upscale," and a little more regular fine dining, I would say Jiko for sure. We love it there!

V&A is definitely the best. And the regular dining room option is reasonably priced for the 6 courses. If you can get the Chef's Table, that would be a night to remember.

Although I enjoy FF, I wouldn't call it upscale. Jiko has a more elegant feel to it. I would pick the type of cuisine you want. Out of Disney's signatures I think Citricos feels the most upscale and has the best overall menu. Overall, bluezoo would be my top choice outside of V&A but fish is what I enjoy eating most.

Another Victoria and Albert's fan here...just celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary here last night. In my thread I just gave the details of our experience... I say save up and go! Absolutely worth every penny!

California Grill, the food was great and the view is amazing especially if you're there during the fire works. Also it just had a total makeover.

I've been to California Grill, Yachtsman, Jiko, Narcoossee's.

Of those, I would rank them in order of favorite to least:

1) CG
2) Narcoossee's
3) Yachtsman
4) Jiko

We've eaten at Jiko, Yachtsman, Flying Fish, Artist Point,Narcoossee and California Grill. The food was very good at all but the acoustics at the FF made conversation difficult,not very romantic. CG was great with the fireworks. If you time it right you could catch Illuminations after dinner at the Yachtsman. Make sure to tell them it is your Anniversary when you make the ADR. We got complimentary glasses of champagne, personalized menus and one time a rose.

For V&A's regular menu, about how much is it per adult would you say? I can't find prices anywhere. Just the fact that it's more than $60 per adult. But I'm sure in reality, it's way more than that.

According the menu on the V&A website, it's $135 per person, with some items having an up charge.
