September - Magic Bands?

Question on magic bands....
will the FP check in work on them if they weren't scanned at the gate that AM? Like you know how with the paper tickets or AP's maybe one member of a party would go into HS early am to pick up FP's for their group (and I'm not talking foreign tour group or anything like that, just say mom picking up that morning for herself DH and Dkids when they plan to be at HS that evening) the ticket would issue a FP even though it hadn't gone through the turnstile. Wondering if MB's will do the same? (ie let the wearer check in for FP's even though it wasn't used for admission into the park that day...)

Is anyone else really impatient about these bands?! I'm losing it I just want to be able to customize them! I guess 24 days until is making me want to occupy my time with anything Disney related. I have all my ADR's and FP+s ready all I need is that band!

I am checking in on September 21 at AKL and now have access to FP plus

The hope is that if you have access to FP+ the bands are soon to follow.

I understand that, that wasn't my question. I've already made my FP+ reservations. My question was simply will a MB that has not been used for admission that day to enter the park still work at the ride's FP entrance gate?

We are staying at the Poly Sept 8-11. The site was letting me make FP+ reservations today. Cross your fingers that we're testing at the Poly in Sept.

I have not read this entire thread so I hope this info hasn't been posted yet.. the question is... if you have the ability to book the FP+ but have an ap is it possible that a mb could happen?? if not does the FP+ plans still work with your room key??

Staying at pofq 8-30 thru 9-7. Nothing. Nada. When I log in and click on the fastpass+ option it tells me atleast one member has to be something. When I click manage magicbands, it just takes me to our annual passes. My brother and his family are staying at riverside the same time. I told my sister in law to log in and see if she can get it. I will let you know when I hear from her.

Beach Club
Art of Animation
Polynesian
Contemporary
Port Orleans Riverside

She said she literally just got the list today and when asked if more hotels would come online in September she did not sound hopeful.

So I guess that is that.

Arriving at por on sept 7th - I was just able to customize magic bands for my fam - 2 pink and 2blue - so exciting!!!

Had a reservation for all stars movies sept 7 to 14.. no fast pass + and no MB so guest what.. I wanted the MB and fast pass + so bad that I just call Disney and change my reservation for pop instead of all star.. I was ready to pay a fee for changing reservation because the trip is only in 23 days.. The guy I spoke too was so great and I was able to change the reservation at no extra cost .. making the happy dance!!!!! I just customize my MB and made my fast pass reservation..

By the way i'M Canadian so tell me that I wont receive it by mail and that the bands will be at the resorts.. 2 pink, one red and one green. He also confirm me that they wil give us a key to the world card also so we will be able to make regular fast pass also.. It'S gonna be a WONDERFUL trip.. I'm a so happy mother right now!!!

I just talked to 2 cm's and they said you will receive an email if you are selected to test the magic bands within the 17 day window.

Hi-just wanted to note I did not rec an email about magic bands...just had a link on mde to customize our magic bands. Wish mb were available at all Disney resorts...

So with the added resorts for Sept. I am wondering what are the chances of either a full roll out by Oct. or the All Stars being included in the testing? I would love to try MB out and we are staying at AsMu Oct 19th-25th

we are staying WL 9/20 - 9/27 with free dinning. we are arriving in orlando on 9/19 in the evening and were going to be staying offsite. however, tonight i booked a 1 night RO for POP for 9/19 and I am now able to book FP+ for our entire stay and i was able to select / customize MB.

Wondering if the September test is for guests arriving after September 7 or those checking in the last of august and stayin the first full week of september

Staying at Pop 9/24-10-/1. FastPass+ 9/24-9/28. No bands yet though, anyone else have that problem?
