Gianna and Sophia's First Trip to Disney World September 2014!!

This is one PTR I HAVE to subscribe to! Gianna and Sophia are adorable! I have two little sisters and you're right, there are so many cute things for girls at Disney World between hair bows, princess dolls and dresses. :lovestruc

Can't wait to hear more about your plans!

Joining in! Our trips have some similarities and I am happy to read another report about a late 2014 trip! Your girls are beautiful and I love their love for Minnie and Disney. Thanks for sharing your info about the crib rentals too :goodvibes

Hello! I jumped over from the link in your siggy. Loving your PTR so far, and I read some of your last one too. That's a bummer that you had to cancel that trip, but at least you got a beautiful baby girl out of it! :)

That's awesome that you are able to stay in the GF! We've never stayed there, but we did do the Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare on our last trip. The hotel is just amazing!!

Can't wait to hear more details!

Aww thank you. I can't imagine how much I am going to spend on them before this trip and during the trip. I am a little nervous. I already told my husband he needs to do some over time at work..haha

So glad you are joining in. I am going to have to head over to yours when I am done. Your welcome for the crib rental info. I haven't used them yet but like I said they got good reviews. I will be sure to update how they were when I get back from my trip.

Yes it was sad that we had to cancel our trip. When that week came, when we were suppose to be at Disney, and I was stuck at work I was so sad..haha But we had a great reason for canceling and I would do it all over again. She is amazing and a blessing.

We absolutely love the GF. I have a hard time making reservations for other resorts. I would love to try the Animal Kingdom Lodge one day though if I can pull myself away from the GF.

Well I had to run a lot of errands this morning. Our first stop was dance class for Gianna. I signed her up in September for her first dance class. It is a tap and ballet combo with some tumbling. I wanted her to try out the class first before I went and spent money on shoes and leotards. She had a great time. I even snuck out the last 15 minutes to see how she would do and she was totally fine. My little girl is growing up. :( Where has the time gone. Here is a quick picture I took of her at the ballet bar.

We then had the run to a few stores to get some things for the girls because I go back to work tomorrow. Today was my last official day of my maternity leave. :( I am so upset to leave my girls. I am going to miss them so much. I am very lucky though and my mom will be watching them. So I wanted to make sure everything was ready for her tomorrow. Food for Gianna is stocked. Bottles ready. Clothes cleaned. It was quite a busy day. On a happy note though when we got home from running errands there was a box on our front stoop. It was the girls Minnie Mouse luggage I ordered. I was so excited. Gianna screamed Minnie and couldn't wait to try it. I had to hide them in the basement from her because I don't want her ruining them. When we go away, hopefully this September for the weekend, she will be able to use.

Thats it for I guess a life update this was. I will probably be crying tomorrow morning and on the way to work but I am sure once I get there I will be so busy to think about missing them. Hope everyone is having a good week and is staying cool. It has been so hot.

Love the photo of Gianna at the ballet barre! And how smart to do a trial class before spending money on the real deal!

I'm sorry you have to go back to work tomorrow. Hope everything goes well!

Man, I was quite the opposite about going back to work. I went back to work (only a few days a week though) 3 weeks postpartum. I felt so cooped up in the house, without being able to move around. It really got to me. But I hope it wasn't too rough for you yesterday :goodvibes

What an adorable dance class picture! So cute :) I can imagine that the first day back to work can be a really emotional one, it is good that you have family to watch the girls though! I hope that you are able to relax a bit after that busy day!

AWE!!! Momma! I know how hard that first day back to work is!!! I did it twice and it wasn't any easier the second time! I was luckily able to continue nursing when I went back to work and I was like a freaking bag lady with my work bag, lunch bag, & pump bag! It's hard to leave them, but I use to say "I'm earning my DISNEY money!" and it helped! ::yes:: I hope that your first week back hasn't been too traumatic!

My ODD started dance at 2.5 and it was so sweet! She loves it! Sadly, where we live now doesn't start dance until 3.5, so I have to wait one more year for my YDD to start. :worried: She LOVES to watch her sissy at dance class!

Yes I couldn't see spending at least $50 on those items if she wasn't going to like it. I know I would have spent more also because I would see all these cute little leotards and would get them all. :rotfl2:

I know what you mean. I had that with my first daughter. This time around I made sure I got out more and Gianna had play dates so it was better.

I am so lucky that my mom is able to watch them. I don't know what I would do without her. I know she is exhausted by the end of the day though. I feel so bad. If my dad was here, he passed away in 2011 right before Gianna was born, he would have been a great help. He loved children and was so great with them and babies. If he was still here I don't think I would have a chance to spend time with my girls...haha

OMG!! I keep saying the same thing. I have to go back because we have to pay for this trip and all the cute stuff I am going to buy for them. :rotfl2: I started dancing at 3 and went through to High School. I was really into going like 5-6 times a week and also was on my high school kickline. I am hoping my girls will like it also. They don't have to be into as much as I was but I think they would really enjoy it and it is a great hobby. Also a great way to make friends.

So a little life update again with going back to work. Can I tell you the last two days have been awful!! It has nothing to do with work also. Let me tell you what has been going on.

My first day back (Wednesday) I was ready to cry when I left but hey I can't afford to stay home. It is what it is. I have to suck it up. I get to work. Pull into my parking spot and honestly it felt like I never left. Everyone was so excited to see me. They kept coming up to me and giving me hugs and asking to see pictures. By the time I caught up on all my emails, over 500 e-mails  it was lunch time. Then after lunch I was so busy catching up with everyone I almost forgot to leave at 5. :rotfl: So I go home and I can't wait to see my girls. I had bought Gianna a couple of things on Zulily (love this site) about a month ago and they finally arrived. So I decide to put them together for her. She was so excited. It was a castle tent and Disney princess bubble thing she can push around. Ok so she is playing now I am talking to my mom next to Gianna and I see her laying on her little chair from pottery barn. She isn't moving and starts to cry. I pick her up and she is holding her arm. Ok so she hurt herself and she is really upset. Normal right? Well I bring her into my room and cuddle with her in bed because she likes that. I figured that would calm her down. No wrong. I do everything that I know will calm her. Nothing is working. I notice she isn't moving her right arm. I check her arm. I don't see any swelling or bruising or it hanging like it is broken. I thought maybe she dislocated her shoulder so I check that and it feels fine. I yell for DH that we have to take her to Premier Care. It is a walk in place. I didn't want to have to deal with the ER if we didn't have to. I couldn't see her sitting there for hours. So we get there fill out paper work and Gianna is trying to calm down but you could see she was in pain and this isn't like her. The doctor checks her arm out and he feels a click. Gianna had dislocated her elbow. :( They gave her motrin because he said it is painful but she is good to go. We don't have to do anything else because it is popped back in. I wanted to cry. It was our first real emergency with her. I am sure one of many. DH couldn't even sit still. He kept pacing the room. So we get home and I feel better. I let her stay up until almost 10 because I just wanted to cuddle with her...lol

Ok so lets go to yesterday (Thursday) after work. Work was good again. Still catching up with everyone. I get out of work. Drive out of the parking garage. Wait to go on the street because there are cars at the red light. No one is coming in the lane I am going into so I go. Well some idiot decides to change lanes after I pulled out into my lane and hits me. He jumps out of the car screaming and cursing at me that I need to pay attention. Meanwhile he crossed over a single white line which he isn't allowed to do and I was already in the lane so he wasn't paying attention when he changed lanes. So I had to call the cops because he just stood there. The lady who answered the phone told me not to get out of my car because he was yelling so much. She said I do not have to talk to him or get out to wait for the cop. I think she was so pissed off at this guy. Now I am so upset because I have my fitting for my bridesmaid dress at 6:45. I am in friends wedding which is August 4th and I am already doing it last minute because I just had a baby. I was like I can't put it off anymore. The wedding is in a week. So the cop finally gets there. I let the guy tell his side because I could tell he was just going to interrupt me anyway. He says he was in my lane and I just pulled out and hit him. Then I said no I pulled out was in the lane and he changes lanes from the middle lane into my lane and hits me. You can tell when you look at where the damage was to both cars. The guy doesn't say anything and kind of looks at me. I think maybe he thought I would be too scared to say what happened because of the way he was screaming and cursing at me. Then the cop asked for our license and registration and everything. I had mine already and as the guys was going back to his car he is yelling. The cop had to tell him 3 times to calm down. So the cop took our info and handed us a piece of paper to get the police report in 10 days. You can get them online now. I don't know if this has been going on awhile but I remember when we would have to go to the precinct to get the reports. Anyway I was really upset. It was my first accident ever where I was driving. So I hope it goes in my favor but you never know how the report is going to be written. I can't shake this feeling but I think it is because the situation really isn't resolved yet. But I did make it to my fitting appointment and they were so nice about it because I had called them ahead of time to give them a heads up.

Sorry this turned into a long post. I guess I needed to vent...haha Hopefully nothing happens after work today. It is early Friday!! During the summer we get out early on Fridays.

The girls are toooooo cute!!!!

I know what you mean about Etsy being dangeros- it is dangerous for me having two boys, so I can only imagine how it would be having a girl... :)

Oh man, I hate you had an emergency with Gianna...

Love the girls' names too!

Oh gosh Gina i'm so sorry about everything!

I'm glad you were so perceptive to Gianna and noticed something was wrong right away. How is she doing? What do you think she did to make her dislocate it?

Ugh. I can't even begin to imagine how you felt. What an IDIOT! Did the cop say anything about him passing in a single white lane?

I truly hope this weekend lifts your spirits up

Wow, you've had a busy couple of days!

Glad you noticed Gianna's arm so quickly! When my sister broke her arm we didn't take her to the doctor for a couple of hours because we thought it was just sore...oops..

 Sorry about the accident. Crazy how he could be so angry when it was his own fault! Hope the police report is in your favor!

OMG! I am so sorry about your car accident! What a jerk! People are just rude sometimes. I get it that he was upset, but DUDE!

Glad the "work" part of this week has been good! I remember alllll the emails I had to come back to! Our Voicemail was connected to our email at one of my former employers, and it was nice, because you could save a vmail very easily. BUT it would clog up your inbox!!! Haha! 6 weeks out of the office meant a lot of voicemails (even though my outgoing message SAID when I would return! sigh!

Gianna is doing really good. By the time we got home she was using her arm. Her chair was right next to a table so I am wondering if she got her arm caught between the two and went to pull it out and while doing that she dislocated it.

The cop didn't really say anything. I guess what can he say. He just has to write the report. I am just assuming I was in the guys blind spot so he didn't see me. But it is all hear say when it comes to writing up the police report. I had to go get a rental car yesterday because apparently it is illegal to drive your car with a cracked headlight. Who knew? :rolleyes1 Meanwhile DH took it to work the next day because he didn't want me driving. And I can't get it fixed until the insurance companies go to the auto body place to look at it. So a rental it is.

Well I thought the same thing. I thought oh she just got scared she will calm down soon. Yeah and my poor little girl is sitting there with her elbow dislocated. Oh well lesson learned.

Thank goodness I don't have a voicemail otherwise I don't think I would have gotten through it all.

No new Disney planning going on here. Kind of hard to plan a lot when you are over a year away from it. Work was slow last week so I did some dining planning and tried to map out some restaurants we would like to go to and what days. I planned them for days we would be in each park. The first day of our trip we always seem to go straight to Epcot. It has started to be a little tradition. So here is a tentative plan of what I have thought of so far:

Monday September 22: Spend first day in Epcot
Biergarten: Dinner

Tuesday September 23: Spend day in Hollywood Studios
Chef Mickey's: Breakfast
50's Cafe: Dinner

Wednesday September 24: Our Magic Kingdom Day
Crystal Palace: Breakfast
Be Our Guest: Dinner
I am so excited to try Be Our Guest. It will be nice to be one stop away from the Magic Kingdom this way if we need to bring the girls back to rest at some point we can still go back for dinner.

Thursday September 25: Animal Kingdom Day
Raglan Road: Dinner
I figured since Animal Kingdom closes early we wouldn't do breakfast this morning and go here. We can come back to the hotel to rest and then head the Downtown Disney for dinner.

Friday September 26: Relaxing day and just enjoy Epcot and HS
Sci-Fi: Early Lunch
Coral Reef: Late Dinner
I figure we could just go with the flow today or even spend time at the pool this day.

Saturday: Our last full day
Cinderella's Royal Table: Breakfast
I figured to make our last day be a Magic Kingdom day since I think this will be the park the girls enjoy the most. I am not sure if I am going to add a dinner to this day. I might leave it with just breakfast so we can have another relaxing day and not have to worry about making it to a reservation.

Not sure if this will be a definite list or if I will revise but I think it is a good start. I have been so busy the last few weeks I haven't been able to do anything Disney trip related. My mom is moving out in a couple of weeks and we are taking over the house so trying to set everything with heat, electric, tv, phone, internet, oil is a pain. Also picking out paint colors and furniture is stressful. Don't get me wrong I am loving and love to do it but I don't have a minute to breath.

Also my two good friends got married this Sunday and Jon, myself and Gianna were in the wedding party so we had a lot going on especially this weekend. I am still recovering from it I am so exhausted. The wedding was great and a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from it. I love how my hair came out. :)

Waiting for the bride to walk out in her dress.

All caught up. I'm sorry that you've had so many stresses lately. That guy who hit you really sounds like a tool.

I love your dining plans so far! It is hard to really plan things when trips are so far away, but it is also hard to sit around and not plan!

The pictures from the wedding are really nice. I love your hair and your DD looks so cute in her dress :)

Love your dining choices! :)

Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace for breakfast are the two ADRs my sisters always request!

You all looked great at the wedding! I love the color of your dress and Gianna is adorable, as always!

Can't wait for more!
