DAY AT SEA AND PALO BRUNCH!
HI DIS FRIENDS!!
I'm finally back! I've been working 40+ hours this week and still have a 6.5 day tomorrow before I'm off Saturday and work a few more days before I go home in a week!
Today we got our letter of agreement from the wedding! We will sign it and send it off early next week and we will be locked in!

When I left off we were in our nice warm bed dreaming away! I was scared I'd wake up sick again since we were at sea but I did not! I woke up to beautiful sunshine and not a yucky tummy like the first night!
Based on the TV we were sailing just off Grand Bahama Island and pretty much just sitting at sea which is why I didn't get sick!
I was up early again..by 7:30am I think. This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation..ya right haha. I couldn't waste a day at sea! I convinced DF to get up and go to Cabanas with me for breakfast before our 11am ADR at Palo!
Cabanas is seriously one of my favorite restaurants. It's so beachy and makes me feel like on a nice relaxing vacation! I do think we'd eat at more restaurants next time. DF already said he would like to do a lunch somewhere not fast food or Cabanas.
After breakfast we went back to the room and got ready for brunch. DF was right..a balcony was worth every penny. Look at this water from steps from our bed!
We also started packing...
We checked in for our ADR right on time!
We were given a tour of the buffet and shown what to order from the kitchen. The service was amazing.
The chicken parm was by far the best thing we ate on the trip!
DF couldn't eat the pizza so our server Colette wrapped it up..as a swan but she called it a duck...what do you think? Needless to say bc it was our last night, the pizza was never eaten but it was delicious!
Brunch was delicious and worth every penny as well! We would return again but probably for dinner next time! On our way out we asked if we could peek into Remy but we were given an attitude saying it was only for guests with reservations so we thanked the CM and just left.
After brunch we used our day passes for the rainforest room at the Spa. Obviously there's no pictures but it was nice and worth every penny too!
We were given a tour again and opted for the sugar scrubs so after we got those and changed into swim suits we explored all the different rain forest rooms! Sadly ALL of the heated lounge chairs were taken by other guests who did not move in the 2.5 hours we were in there so we just enjoyed the showers and private hot tub. It was nice and relaxing that we floated along Grand Bahama Island in a hot tub!
After the spa day we decided to see what else there was to do on the big ship!!

Yes, I'm seasonal and was scheduled it lol. A lot of our college program CMs are starting to leave so everyone else gets bumped up in hours while the new group gets trained. It's good money but long days!

That's nuts. Where I'm from anything over 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week, puts you into overtime. I hope you get paid well

I get the OT as well in the day and the week as well. It's of course not as great as what I get at the school I teach at but for extra money to pay off my Visa bill for the summer and the rest of the gas/groceries that I didn't save up for..it's just fine. I'm used to working 6 days a week anyways (5 at school and usually one at Disney).

LAST NIGHT ON THE DREAM!!!
HI DIS FRIENDS!!! I'm going to finish up this TR today! I need to move on to other things...like a wedding haha! I don't work until 4:30pm today so I figured I'd take the time to do this while I listen to my brothers show on disunplugged.com! ENJOY!

When I left off we enjoyed time at the Spa but first..we got goodies in the room when we got home from brunch!
After the spa we decided to roam the ship and take care of business!
We ended up getting extra luggage tags (because I wanted to keep some) and extra customs forms. We also roamed the gift shop too!
We decided to go to the pool and hot tub but it was actually pretty chilly and breezy on the upper decks so we didn't last too long which was so sad! I'm glad we enjoyed brunch and the spa though! If we did it again, I might think twice about a March cruise. The weather was just so eh. I'd rather go in the summer and know we'll have good weather but hurricane threats too..double edged sword! lol.
After the pool, we got room service!
Then we decided to start packing hard core and be all prepared before we left for dinner. Our bags had to be out the door by 10pm so we didn't want to feel rushed after dinner or before dinner. Before I started packing, I took a pic of our door!
I got all the templates online here. If DF and I do a cruise for our Disneymoon, I'd like more templates of the wedding for our door!
I'd like to take the pillow but sadly it was over $100..no thanks lol
DF and I finished packing most everything and left to watch the final show of the trip, Believe. It was by far my favorite show and I cried! It was very emotional and I loved most every part of the cruise and it was sad to see it ending!
When we got back to the room before dinner we had our last surprise!
I asked our stateroom attd. Chris for extra cruise products. He said they are limited on what they pass out but he would tried to get me extra ones to take as well as the club level goodies! When we got back I got extra products!
Chris saw us before dinner and said he was still working on the club level ones! I thanked him for what I got! What was odd is that tablemates of ours said they got shower products daily...sad day!
We got to A.P. for dinner!
Crush talked to me because of my hair!
It was only us and one other couple at our table. As we looked around a lot of people were not at the meal that night! I guess a lot of people decide to do their own thing on their last night????
I did love the chairs!
And our meals!
Dinner was good. DF liked Pirate Night meal the best and I liked Royal Palace meal the best!
After dinner we headed back to the room to put our bags outside the door. Many bags were outside before we left for dinner and those were already gone! We placed ours outside and said bye to them!
Our tablemates at dinner convinced us to come to a trivia game. DF wanted to do that and I wanted to go back to the spa before it closed..DF won and we went to the game and we ended up winning!!! It was worth it lol. We went to the 80s challenge game after that and did not win bc we showed up late lol. After a night in the clubs, we headed to bed, sad that it was our last night on the Dream!!!

LEAVING THE DREAM AND SPLITSVILLE!

*I did forget to mention the night before Shutters closed we did end up buying 6 prints from our PP pics. I used my CM discount on them and it was still $90+!!!
We got up at the crack of dawn to say bye to the Dream! I was glad we had the late dinner seating because we didn't have to get up a 6am or earlier to get ready to leave! We docked at around 7:30am which when I woke up, I saw land...sad day!
We wore our DCL new shirts and took a few last pics on our verandah!
Didn't really notice this till we left!
When we walked out the door, we saw Chris and said bye to him. He was already cleaning rooms for those who had the earlier dining seating. He said he couldn't get the club level goodies BUT HE GAVE US TWO CASTAWAY CLUB LANYARDS!!!!! I had wanted one of these since we walked into the terminal a few days before but you don't get them till your second cruise. He said he knew we'd be back and wanted us to have this early to get excited for our next one. BEST FREE GIFT EVER!!!
Our breakfast was at AP again!
After breakfast we said bye to our tablemates and headed out the door!
We made our way down to find our luggage and it took quite a bit of time. They said they try to group the bags but they were not grouped! When DF found my big suitcase, we pulled it out to find a wheel was dangling and then fell off!!!!!! We had to report it (I did get the bag repaired in Orlando and was refunded the repair) and had to get a porter to take our bags. It was a good decision in the long run. Customs went quickly and there were no issues. We got to the car and headed back to Disney!
We got to POFQ and checked in but the room was not ready so we got into the car and then went to Splitsville! We had to wait 30 mins to bowl so we had some snacks first.
We finally got our table and Ashley was our server. She is a personal friend of mine/good friend of my roommate.
By the end we spent almost $100 between bowling, fries, drinks, and lunch. We won't be going often lol.
When we got back our room 5323 was ready! We had that room in Jan, March and again in July! It's our room now!

That's pretty much where the trip drops off lol. DF and I went to dinner in the castle for the first time which was delicious and we had a good time! I did not get engaged on the cruise or castle but May was it!!!!! My parents arrived safely to Orlando and we had a great time with them for the remainder of the trip in March. When we went to dinner in the castle, we got the wishing stars to keep DF actually gave me the wishing star on our boat before he proposed in May tying in what I thought would be getting engaged on the cruise or at the castle in March..I got both! I got a boat and the castle, plus fireworks...the first Disney fireworks we saw together on our first date! It was all very well thought out and I'm so blessed and thankful for such a great DF!!!
Overall the trip was great! I had a great time before the cruise, on the cruise, and after the cruise!
Things we would do differently next time (cruise).
~Know to split the room keys before we get on
~Eat at Palo for dinner
~Possibly not go in March bc of the weather
~Do a spa treatment not just the rainforest room
~Stay on the boat at Nassau or at least just explore quickly off
~Do more trivia games
~Always will get a verandah from now on, hopefully on an upper deck!
~Spend more time at the pool
~Get the drink of the day every day..or wait, we did that!
~Go right to the adult beach at CC
~Mail something at the post office at CC
~Journal consistently
~Limit the amount of pics we buy from Shutters or get enough to get the CD
~Visit the characters at CC
~Get hair braided on the ship

I love your ending, thanks so much for sharing. Quick question, what do you mean by split the room keys before you get on? Thanks for the tip on Nassau, I have been debating what to do about that. I think I will follow your suggestion. 24 days and we'll be visiting the dream for the first time. You have made me even more excited. I can't wait to hear all about your wedding planning

DF had our room keys linked together and had the charging based on cash and not off your credit card. If you base it off cash you have a small credit limit and then have to pay it with cash. We ended up splitting the cards so I could apply all the gift cards and cash I had for mine then put my credit card on file for charges beyond the gift cards and cash and he did the same. We had different gift cards to use so thats why we split plus he shouldn't be paying for things outside my gift cards so we split it...when we're married hahaha...anything is game! lol. WE found out afterwards that in the gift shps on the ship you can use the gift cards and do not have to put them on for room charge which is what Guest RElations told us..they were wrong.
