I have tried getting into The Optimist, but got a bit overwhelmed. I will have to give it another try. Are you enjoying it? Can you get into it without being able to hunt for clues at the Tam O'Shanter, Disneyland and other locations?

I've been playing the Optimist. Looking forward to the Disney Cartography booth at the Expo. Really like some of the prints and hope they have them for sale. Pretty sure they will

Many of the people who are playing are not able to go to the locations because they are far , but they are really contributing to the game. It is confusing and took me awhile to understand, but once I did, I'm pretty addicted now. Because I live in OC, I was able to go to the locations which ill admit, is pretty awesome as it led players into Club 33 to search for clues which was shocking. Also saw places that are in LA which Walt Disney used to frequent. I think it's a fun way to learn about Disney history as well as a different way to enjoy the expo as I'm so curious what they are going to do at the expo for us. If you are going to the DIS meet up and playing this game, we can chat more there.

Back on topic, how long will everyone be at the Hearthstone area? I plan on attending but won't be arriving early enough to be there by 5 p.m.

It's an Alternate Reality game. You search for clues and try to solve them helping this fictional character named Amelia discover what ties her grandfather had with Disney. It's taken people to Club 33, Griffith PArk, the Tam, Walts Disneys Barn, as well as Walts favorite Chili place. However, if u can't go to those places, you can help in trying to interpret the clues. It's way elaborate but really fun. Supposed to have a big reveal at the expo.
