I don't remember for sure, but I think last time we got our packet with luggage tags and stuff about a month before we left. i'd imagine you'll get yours any day now! exciting!!!
Yeah, I think you will have plenty to do without the pressed penny thing. My son loves those pressed pennies so this is the first trip where I am going to actually plan for it.
I like the ponchos from Walmart because they are clear and cheap. I need to restock because we used a bunch when we went to Universal (Tropical Storm Andrea was in town too). If you have AAA you can get a discount at some the restaurants and shops in Universal (including City Walk). You used to get it any any amount but I think the minimum is $50 now. That being said we were able to get a discount at places when we didn't spend $50 - just ask as it seems all locations have different policies.
Other than that the days are actually sailing by okay. I can not wait for this week, I have some fun stuff coming in the mail/being picked up that I think you guys will LOVE! Eeep!

It is actually kinda dreary in San Antonio today, some light rain and overcast, and I totally have a book hangover from last night... (Stayed up till like 3am reading!! Could NOT put my book down until I finished it!) Also, I just read about Corey Monteith dying 
and it makes me sad, I must admit I do watch gLee, and it will never be the same now. Anyhow, hope all of you are doing well. See you soon, very soon!
I LOVE your stroller plate! Just a warning that you may already know. The cm's WILL move your stroller. Don't panic if you come out and can't find it, like the poor woman I saw on our last trip. The cm's can tell you where it probably got moved to.

And I hope I didn't read it here and are telling you something you said yourself--but I read somewhere that someone got clear ponchos and sharpies and they all decorated their ponchos with Disney things themselves and didn't have to spend big bucks on ponchos at the park or have boring ponchos. I thought that was a fun idea.

Sorry for the Glee guy. i heard about it but not a fan of the show..
it's so sad that the show will not be the same...I was already getting pretty turned off of it with all the changes this last year, so this will make it harder to stay interested.

So, just to let you know what we did...maybe it's a better way to look at the pennies.
We didn't search them out. Most of the pennies my son got was while we were waiting for our ADRs. There is a lot of waiting in Disney and they strategically place the penny machines where the people wait. It is easy to carry some change around with you and just get them when you see them. Only takes a few seconds.
Not trying to convince you one way or the other (it honestly doesn't matter to me whether you do them or not) but I just wanted you to know that you don't need to run around like a crazy person seeking them out....the Disney "powers that be" know just where to put stuff like that
What kind of handle does your stroller have?? Or are you renting one?? I can't remember. My stroller had the curve up handles, vs the bar across handle. I bought some colorful little girl hair elastics and put them all down the handle. It made it comfortable to hold on to, as well as super easy to spot. Everyone has the stroller signs (and they are fabulous, don't get me wrong), but you should have something on the handle or top of the stroller to make it easy to spot if it is in the middle of the crowd. My rainbow colored handles really stood out in the sea of black ones
Yes yes yes! Make sure you have a poncho to cover the stroller too. We made that mistake...didn't even think about it. Ugh, that was a horrible afternoon!
I am a Glee fan too. I am so sad about this news. I knew he was having problems, but I just hoped he could resolve them. I am not a fan of the new direction the show is taking, I just kept watching to see if Rachel and Finn would get back together. Now I'm just not sure I will watch anymore. I will probably watch to see how they write the character off, but after that....well I guess it depends on what the next season looks like. Just so sad
