DOH... ROOTS..not Rots lol! and I agree, we actually were able to budget this quite a bit. More than I ever thought we could! I also wasn't a bridezilla that had to have certain things. With that said, I bargain shopped. We did a Friday wedding, offered to cut out certain things, did it in the dead of winter, spoke to vendors to see if they offered any winter discounts (turns out, many do!). I got a deal on almost everything! The Disney vow renewals are quite affordable from what I have read! Turn to Lurkyloo for any and all DFTW help! She is a great resource!

candy bar was great, however, as I said above, it was NOT how I wanted it laid out. It was supposed to be in jars with scoops and the wedding coordinator had it scattered all over, which looked pretty in pictures, but I'm sure was gross to some, after a million kids had their grubby little hands in it!

Ah a dismeet! That may be incentive enough to forget about fighting the NYE crowds! lol Our passes expire on the 22nd, so it'd probably be the week leading up to that. BUT. I'm trying HARD to convince Tony to renew next year so it's possible we could go later. There was practically no one there the week we went this year (22-28) so that really makes me want to go then again!

Back to the wedding! Your decor is so adorable! I love that so many people pitched in to make your day so special! I showed Tony the guys' boutonnieres and told him that Bob made them and he thought they were cool. Then he got to Bob's Firefly one and was like, "Yeah... I think we'd probably get along!" We're actually watching the whole series with some friends right now. We call it "Firefly Fridays!"
But I digress.. lol. I also really liked your group shots. Everyone looks so happy together and you can tell you're all one big family! I think my favorites were the ones of you with Jack and Kayla though. I think it's amazing how close you are with them! To be honest, I'm kind of jealous that I don't have that kind of relationship with my mom! You guys are all just so perfect for one another!

OK, well, sorry again for my lack of updates... life is happening. I'm so tired. and seem to have a.d.d. or sever baby brain? I find it very hard to focus on anything online anymore, and my eyes hurt after a short period of time on the computer :/ If good intentions did themselves this TR would be done! But, hopefully I can breeze through after the wedding part! As for life happening, we decided we are going to move! We found a place about 14 houses down from where we are now..literally from 6 to 20! I can see it as I am typing this! LOL! So we have been tied up with dealing with that and packing what we can for now. we move in August 15! It's not huge, but Kayla will get her own room, and we get an entire town home/condo, as opposed to living on the 2nd floor of one now! Eventually the boys will share a room, and seeing as they are Star wars lovers (yes, I'll make that assumption for the bean) it will be all good! we wanted to buy, but felt pressured and din't want to commit to something so life long because we felt like we were running out of time. This place is much more, and it's almost silly to "throw away" the money, but we will live more comfortably for the time being. I'm excited, and so is Bob. Did I mention no more carrying groceries or an infant up a flight of stairs?? Bonus is we get a whole back/side yard because it's an end unit! I'll post pics when we move in! In baby news, we met with CHOP and the dr was great. Turns out he will only need one cast so long as he comes out with only one club foot. and the dr approved our WDW vacation for January! SO WOOT!!!

I left you off with our group shots, and nerves crazed. The place was starting to get packed with guests, and I wish I had gotten a moment alone with Jophia, and carriatrick! Time was just flying by and the next thing I knew it was time to get married!

Everyone lined up and off they went! Bob and his guys were down first, and I'm still wondering how the music was? Jophia? Carriatrick? Roots? I had requested quite a bit of Disney music to be played while people waited. I hope it did

Maybe not? Patrick looks kinda sleepy!

here comes trouble... I mean the Bride

and THEN it was TIME! The caps made you feel the drama...right?? Time for the kids and I to make our debut! I would be lyin if I said I was totally cool and calm.. I was DYING inside, so was Kayla. Jack was, Jack, kind of oblivious and wondering when he could raid the candy bar lol!



OK, I made it! Whew, and suddenly, everything was OK. I couldn't tell how many people were there, I could just see my husband to be, and he was beaming! This getting married thing was EASY! Why hadn't anyone told me

not a clue what we were looking at, but clearly I could see how many people were there, and man were there SMILES!! I felt the love big time!

and then it was time to read the vows.. I wanted to go first.. I knew mine rocked! Sadly, I can not list them here as I can not find them. I think I have them packed away. I will post them later in here and label it on my title!

and then is was his turn. I knew they would be good, but I was on cloud 9, and couldn't stop smiling long enough to cry (BTW- he TOTALLLLLLLLY cried when I read mine, and I think when he read his! )


MOH got teary from Bob loves!

So did his sister!



I believe this is the part where he PROMISED and I quote "to give you (me) foot rubs every night ." It's funny because he does, and I lol because now he had to! His vows are packed too, I'll post those as well, word for word, foot rub and all!



Then it was time for us to unite as a family. We totally dropped the ball on this, and SHOULD HAVE written vows to the kids, but totally winged it, and it was.. not awesome, but everyone got the point. Thanks to his sister we had an AWESOME Tetris block uniting! Some people mix sands, we built a Tetris wall of love Remember that pic of interference earlier? Yeah, well she had knocked over the blocks and they had broken, so we had to kind of make it work.. kind of perfect if you ask me!

Then it was time for us to unite as husband and wife with our rings I could NOT wait to put on those gorgeous things! If you recall, my e-ring came with a band, and Bob allowed me to make a diamond necklace my grandmother had give n me years ago into another band! Spoiled much? I also couldn't wait for him to put his ring on too! Nothing sexier than a man with a wedding band on, and I adored the band he and I picked out for him!

Our awesome and hilarious ring bearer was STOKED to give us the rings too! If you recall my nephew has mild retardation from a missing chromosome, but is the funniest kid alive! He keeps everyone laughing night and day!



Jack helped untie the rings.. they were tied on pretty tight.. the bearer couldn't be totally trusted with such pricey items lol!


then it was time to put a ring on it!

I couldn't put my hand out fast enough!


and that was it! We were married! You may kiss your bride, and have your son give the most adorable shot even the Roots said they have taken!




YAY! I was officially Mrs. Jenn Paul-Koch! You didn't think i wasn't going to be Jenn Paul anymore, did you???

After all was said and done, we realized we never actually said I do.... due to this, I told Bob that a 5 year vow renewal is mandatory!

We all hurried up stairs to get the jitters out and unwind for a sec, while cocktail hour started. We were told that we would be taken away for a few to enjoy apps and a drink by the planner, but that never happened....



Instead we took some pics in our awesome photo booth!

Then we scrapbooked them!

Nate also asked us to excuse ourselves so we could get some alone shots as Mr. & Mrs. outside in the SNOW!!! My wedding day wish had come true! I love a snowy night on the river!

Oh, and Jensey shot this cute little bit. It was my something blue. Jack had bought be a necklace at his school fair for Christmas. It said Mom in a circle, with the o's being a blue stone. Jensey also had sewn it into my sash earlier. Telling you, the BEST photographers out there!


Then it was time for us to be officially announced as Mr. & Mrs.!

My Kids were a bit excited!


The wedding party was relieved at this point too! and out iof their heels as well.. we keep it classy!


My MOH is NOT shy! LOL! Hilarious that the guy she was with is!
