Have a wonderful trip. We're down to 197 days. I spent time looking at the garden grocer site and figuring out what I'd want to order. Which is a bit mental, but I figured everyone here could relate.

Omg DCL and AKV sounds amazing have a wonderful time what a great combo! We are doing The Dream and SSR & AKV in September

This is our first time to AKL and was wondering if there was an option for a King bed. We have a two year old and we were hoping he could sleep in between us at night. Are King beds available at this resort? Are the only available in the handicap accessible rooms?

Darn, was hoping i could relax a bit and watch them play. And I will make the two of them stay together at all times -- I just can't be in two places at once, and I am nervous about little ones in the water without adult supervision! This will be my first trip to the World with the kids by myself. I am thinking it will be a little more hectic/stressful but kids will enjoy it.

Depending on ages I don't think you'll have too much trouble. The splash area has tons for the bigger kids too - with our 3 (ages 2, 4, and 6) they all had a blast, though we did ask them to be mindful of each others wants and sometimes the younger ones would go into the pool so my 6yr old could go on the big water slide (she learnt to swim that trip and it was her first water slide - she LOVED it!)

As for your other questions - there is a path of sorts, you have to cross a road, and then walk on a sidewalk down the road. It took maybe 15/20 min with a 2 yr old stopping to check out lizards and flowers, we took the shuttle back after our swim. It's a 3 min 15 second drive if there's traffic (according to the driver), the shuttle runs roughly 15 min between pick-ups at either building. So never long to wait. They have towels for anyone still dripping.

There are microwaves in all the DVC rooms if you are staying in a studio or similar?

No noodles but they do have kid sized life jackets. They are in a bin by the towels.

It's a small savannah on the opposite side of Jambo house from the pool - it has zebras and giraffes as well as Thomson's gazelles, ostrich, wart hogs and a few other animals. We had this view and LOVED it.
