Day 2
An Early Morning at POR
As many of you know, our family likes to rise bright and early (or at least some of us ). When I woke up, it was still dark outside .so I got a quick shower then sneaked outside to take a look at POR.
Our room was located right by one of the quiet pools
So back in I went to make sure the gang was ready to go grab a bite to eat! When we exited our Royal Room Suite (not really, but sounds good ), the sun was finally coming up, and I could tell it was going to be a beautiful day!!!!
I was really, really beginning to like this resort even more! The landscape was totally inviting (not shocking .its Disney, right?!)
The walk over to the main building wasnt bad at all. It was actually super refreshing and quite relaxing. However if there would have been rain, there would have been issues!
Stop kids! More pictures!! ...
The bridge across the river was a very short hike from our room again, very convenient and another reason I loved our location!
This is a look back across the river at the Magnolia Bend Area .
And this is where we are headed for a bite to eat .
Believe it or not .we are excited and having a blast I look as if Im not I know.
No pics of breakfast in too big of a hurry!
Since we were brand new to this resort, and it was a last minute trip I didnt do my usual research. And since I didnt do my usual research, we got a bit lost on our way to the bus depot. Ok, maybe not lost .I like to say we took the road less traveled what should have been a 2 minute stroll .took like 10! But thats ok. We were able to see some more of the resort. No worries, my camera was right by my side! I think this was Alligator Bayou Area .
Almost there!!! I can see the bus stop ahead!!! Finally! Bill and I were laughing at ourselves for getting lost .what else can ya do?! Right?! The kids didn't find it quite as humorous, though
Up next .a very early morning at MKs Rope Drop and the NEW Fantasyland!
