July Exercise Challenge...Jump In!...Everyone Welcome!

Hello! This is my first time joining. I'm shooting for 900 minutes this month.

July 1: 45/900 (morning aerobic video, evening stationary bike)

Hi everyone! Happy to report that I completed 45 min run tonight with little pain (during the run). The back of my knee is nagging me now but I'm going to stay positive. Might try finding a new ortho doc this month and give it another go round.

45/800

To get everybody going with a good chuckle today...

"You are what you eat." That's strange, I don't think I've eaten any sexy beasts today...

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Hiya! I joined the June Weight Loss thread last month and the additional support and being held accountable knocked 5 pounds off!

I've rejoined that for July and want to jump on this bandwagon too...

Taking into account days I'm on vacation and days I know I won't be able to fit in a workout, I'm going with 19 days, 60 minutes a day, rounding down (heh)... For a total of 1,100 minutes of exercise for July.

Does mowing a lawn for an hour with a self-propelled mower count?? :rotfl:

88/1000

7/1-30 minute fitness trail at the park
7/2-walked 4 miles for 58 minutes

Thanks :)

50/1800

50 minutes of fitness walking in the pouring rain.

Today was the first day of my official training for Dopey. I hope the rain was not a sign of things to come...

I am going to jump on board for July, but with a higher goal. Please set my goal for 3000 minutes.

I took Monday off after my 17 mile run on Sunday, but got back after it this morning. Today's exercise - 152 minutes

With my wife:
Warmup walk - 5 minutes
Ran 2.32 miles - 31 minutes
Cooldown walk - 10 minutes

By myself:
Warmup walk - 5 minutes
Ran 7 miles - Long hill repeats (.5 mile STEEP hill :faint:, ran up and down with walk break at the bottom) - 81 minutes
Cooldown walk - 20 minutes

July tally - 152/3000

Thanks for hosting, I am definitely a Glass Half full kinda person!!!!

1200 goal for me this month. TYVM

Sad to say that I have never been on this board before. I have been trying to increase my fitness level each month. I have been getting better but was thinking that July could be my independence month from a few pounds. I am a regular over on the budget board and have participated in the Debt Dumpers discussion since January. I started noticing that as I paid down my debt I felt that I had more control of both my bank book :cool1: and my body.:thumbsup2

It is funny how these things are all connected. Anyway I have been doing ok with my food intake. A few rough days here and there. But I have really improved in the exercise department.::yes::

So my goal for the month is 1,000 MINUTES. Which at this moment sounds huge but I have to dig deep and reach for the stars. Looking forward to getting to know all about you.

Good luck, but 1000 hours = 41.67 days, so you are going to have to work really hard. ;)

I did really good in April and then may and June were complete write offs! It's time to get back on track and a new awesome pool opened up 5 minutes away from me yesterday so the timing is perfect!

I'm going to aim for 1500 - our trip is in less than 5 months now!! Eeek

120/1500

Aquafit, walking and swimming

Alright I went to the YMCA today and did the Body Pump class. So I got 60 minutes/1,000.

I wore my fitness watch and according to my heart rate monitor I burned just under 500 calories. Not bad Not bad!
