I am sad to say it was kind of bland to me and I love ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches. I think it was the roll. I should have asked if I could have it on toast instead.

Thank you everyone I never dreamed out total would be that high and I actually didn't show at least 10 of our snacks and 2 of our meals because I forgot to take pictures. We were also there for 2 weeks.

Our First (and only so far) Update of the Day was sent to us this morning by a new reporter who arrived at Disneyland last night, Incredibleboysmom.


She said, "Hello again my DIS friends! Our family arrived at Disneyland resort yesterday evening, on the tail end of a 12 day trip to California. We went straight to Carsland [at California Adventure], and couldn't wait to eat at..."






"Unfortunately, it wasn't until about an hour after our meal that my oldest son said "Mom, weren't you supposed to take pictures of our food?" Aargh! Epic fail! I am out of practice."




"I did go back and snap a pic of the menu. Here it is:"




"DH had the roast beef and I had the pork loin. We both had mashed potatoes and a roasted corn medley. They were both good. The BBQ sauce on the pork was really yummy. The gravy on the potatoes was pretty salty."





"All three boys had Kids Mac 'n Cheese. We paid $5 extra for our youngest to have his served in a Lightning McQueen lunch pail."




"The grapes served with the non-pail meals were so fresh and delicious, the ones served with the pail were packaged.
Go figure."


"My apologies for my miserable failure with our first DL meal. I promise to do better today."




"As we were leaving DCA, we ran into Mickey himself...






"He took a stroll with, and ended up pushing the wheelchair of my youngest son."

Hi Brenda! It was soo crowded at night! I kept scanning for Disser's though . Surprisingly the crowds are manageable. Is it just me or are the guests more chill at Disneyland? -Amanda

Then our last update sent last night was from a new reporter who arrived at Disney World yesterday, Lisa (lisatav).


She first sent a few travel food pics...





Lisa said, "We made it! The first picture is from the airport. I got an iced caramel macchiato from the airport Starbucks, of course this is just to compare to the Main Street Starbucks."

"The second picture is a snack on the plane. Fruit and cheese crackers. Nobody liked the crackers."

"At MCO we stopped for McDonald's but it was gone before I got a picture!"



Then for their first Disney meal, they headed to the Grand Floridian last night to have dinner at...






Lisa said, "We had a wonderful time at 1900."




"First buffet pictures. It was crowded so I only got a few."

















"First plate is mine. Second Ashley, third Katie and fourth my second plate. Then dessert and a family photo!"



































"We enjoyed the food a lot! Much better then our last Disney buffet. Stand outs were the tomato and mozzarella, stir fry, beef stew, rice and pot stickers."

She and her family also headed to the Grand Floridian for their first Disney meal, dinner at...











First a Pina Colava...







And they were given this Amuse Bouche...





"It was a sesame cone with a cold swordfish and veggie salad. It was amazing!"




Then a Kids meal...




Kids Appetizer: Cheese, Grapes, and Goldfish crackers


"Really enjoyed the cheese variety here."






Kids Entree: Grilled Berkshire Pork Tenderloin with Apple Marmalade, Roasted Potatoes and Broccolini






Kids Dessert: Chocolate Mousse




And an Adult meal...




Appetizer: Cheese Course Trio - Murcia al Vino from Spain, Gorgonzola Piccante from Italy, and Petit Agour from Basque region of France served with Seasonal Accompaniments







Entree: Berkshire Pork Two Ways - Rotisserie Pork Tenderloin and Roasted Berkshire Pork Belly with Zellwood Spiced Sorella Mascarpone Creamed Corn, Rainbow Swiss Chard, and Cherry Gastrique


"The pork tenderloin was amazing and tender. Pork belly was new to me and too rich to finish. Paired with a delicious creamed corn."







Dessert: Warm Chocolate-Banana Torte
With Vanilla Ice Cream and Handcrafted Belgium Couverture Chocolate Crown


"Flavor of torte was rich but it was slightly overdone."

Great job Tina with your record breaking points!! You definitely set the bar high!

Amanda (MissPrice) I was definitely on the look out for you last week but it was a bit crowded. The crowds at DLR tend to be more locals except for when the summer season starts and many APs are blacked. Plus there seems to be less tour groups so yeah, I'd say a bit more chill is a good way to describe it.

Ahhhh that Pina Colava from Wendydagny - with the heat wave here that looks mighty refreshing!!
