Thanks for the reminder Deb... I just went and dusted and cleaned my window a/c unit in my bedroom (the builder only put in central if the original owners paid for it...) and now it's blowing colder air... I think you just saved me several hundred dollars!!!

mom and I went to the diner for lunch... Didn't make breakfast at Olivers yesterday because I wasn't feeling up to it... nice lunch... I've been craving a chicken salad sandwich for a while.

You are so welcome Michelle. We had our central air reworked today too. The maintenance people came and cleaned the coil I think john said and put in a new filter. It should work more efficiently now.

I'm glad you got out today. I wanted to go but I just wasn't going to make it. I've been on pain killers all day since getting out of the tub earlier. I've been craving a tuna sandwich. Maybe tomorrow.

Saturday night we have plans to show up on Monica's doorstep with pizza and bubbly in hand. We're going to play some card games. And we're going to get to meet freckles. I'm excited.

Today was a chill day. Doing the garbage and recycles. Doing laundry. And we took some crushed seashells and spread them all around the inside of the screened room. We're getting a storm soon and we don't want the worms in the pool. Let's see if it works.

Big Brother starts tonight. I'm so excited. I even subscribe to the live feeds. John says, I'll see you in September. I can't wait.

I saw a note on my email to check out the ship of thieves' page. Deb, I follow you on facebook. Is someone going on the Westbound Repo next year? Chuck is thinking about it. Not sure if we can pull it off.

Deb- sorry your legs have been bothering you again Did the crushed seashells work?


It has been non-stop chaos around here. My dad had a very bad recovery from gall bladder surgery, wound up in intensive care for about a week and then a week in rehab. He is home now, but needs to make a lot of changes to his diet and activities and is still having trouble walking and not driving at all. He and my mom are also fighting fiercely at the moment, and she wants to get him moved out of their house. Just a mess!

We spent this last weekend at Hershey Park, so at least that was fun and a good getaway after all of the stress. I was back in court again this morning though, and again tomorrow and three appearances on Monday. It's exhausting. I'm so sad to be back to real life!

Where does your mom want your dad to go? Are they going together? there's lots of choices out there for senior housing. Mom decided she's not ready to live in those communities, but she has me to take care of things...

OH can I be auntie Deb.....I will cat sit for you any time. We're bringing something for Freckles to play with. It's not a toy she can keep because John needs it back, but she will love it.
