Good morning everyone! I have sent out a PM to all the volunteer reporters on our July team, so if I have forgotten anyone please let me know.

Also, we are still in need of reporters beginning on the 24th of July and through the end of the month. So if you are planning to visit either Disney World or Disneyland during this time, please consider doing some live reporting for us. I will try to make it as simple and painless as possible, heck you might even have some fun doing it.


Off to run some errands now, but will be back later to post our first update of the day from Tina (AlohaAnnie).

Oops, sorry Belle. I forgot to add that I am including both you and pennyplanner (who arrives on July 30th) with the August team since most of your trip will be during the month of August. So look for your PM sometime around the 20th of July.

Waving at fellow July reporters! I too have my PM and hope to have a report July 1st live from our happy place. I am so ready that I've already upset the family pooch by pulling out the suitcases!

Wow DDW, you get to go to Disney a LOT!!! And I'm not jealous at all

I know, we feel really lucky. In general, it's easy for us to take short trips to WDW since the flight isn't long. Plus, we have a convenient local airport with direct flights to MCO near our apartment, which makes it one of the easiest trips we can take. Disneyland is more difficult to arrange (but that's why we've only been there twice, with the trips being over five years apart ).

It seems like Europeans generally take longer, less-frequent vacations to Orlando, often ranging from 2 weeks to a month. We could never do that, but I like our shorter trips.

I got my PM! 20 more days and I can't wait! Just so you guys know what to expect...I'll be in the world for a conference, and my mom is going with me (she gets to hang out at SAB all day while I'm in sessions so I'm a bit jealous). Our first two days are free, then I'll be eating whatever conference food is provided for breakfast and lunch (at the Yacht Club).

Does anyone care to see pics of that?

As for other meals, we have ADRs for Yachtsman Steakhouse and the Wishes dessert party, but are winging it other than that- which we've never done!
