Last few yrs Ohana meat has been dry & over cooked a d then to top it all off we had a "crack head" waitress, she was seriously on something, I was getting very uncomfortable to the point I was ready to leave...DH called for a manager she comped the meal for all 4 of us & apologized profusely.. I do plan on going back eventually but not anytime soon..

So this is probably a silly question, but every time I see one of these I want one....Can you order using the English description, or do you struggle through the French pronunciation? Like I said, probably a silly question, but who better to ask?

Thank you so much for keeping this going, Barb! By the way, I just made a small announcement in my DR. Long story short: do you have room for another reporter during Fourth of July weekend? Our dining plans might not be particularly interesting, so I would only send in updates that seem worthwhile.

"This was VERY spicy. The woman across from me had this but subbed real chicken, and I overhead her tell her husband that it was spicy. Btw, I enjoy spicy. This was quite strong."

I always leave this thread starving and wanting to make more ADRs!


Sorry I haven't been commenting. My dad had to get emergency surgery and wound up in intensive care for about a week. W have him in a rehab facility ow because he hasn't been able to walk, so I had to let my food thread addiction slide a little. Luckily, he is doing better and I'm gearing up for our August trip!

"I am not usually a chocolate dessert person, but this one caught my eye (and it looked like it would survive the trip back to the hotel). It has white and chocolate mousse, plus the cake and a glob of a dark chocolate something on top."






"Chocolate and Almond Croissant. In the spirit of vacation, I didn't save this for the morning even though I'd already eaten the chocolate cake. I'm glad I didn't wait: this was so fresh and just about perfect."
