Chapter 15: Sheer Frumpiness
August 20th, 2012
For dessert, Scott went with the Apple Crisp a la mode.
Mom went with a classic ice cream sundae, which she probably devoured right away because I don't have a picture of it!
Sarah and I went with the Boston Cream Parfait, which was delicious! The textures contrasted nicely and the whole thing was really yummy.
Chowin' down:
Fun times:
Gary made Hidden Mickeys using our heads!
Mom and Gary:
We had an excellent meal and Gary was totally hilarious. He even called my Mom a snitch for telling on me for not eating all my food and put whipped cream on some green beans at a table next to ours to get some kid to eat his veggies.
He was perfect.
After dinner, we did the last Indiana Jones show of the evening at 6:45, because there are no more 8:30 shows.
I hope some of you get this.
If not, YouTube "Confessions of a Disney Employee" right now.
Well, not RIGHT now, finish the update first!
Jeez, so rude.
After the show, (which I LOVE and am finally old enough to volunteer for) we paid a visit to our friends in the Academy.
Sarah and Andy Griffith:
Now I know a lot of you are probably saying, "She probably doesn't even know who he is!"
You are mistaken.
My sister and I have always loved watching old shows, and one of her favorites is The Andy Griffith Show! She and my mom love to watch it together.
Have any of you ever seen Bill Cosby's standup bit about going to the dentist? If you have, then you'll get this:
If you haven't seen it, YouTube that as well. (AFTER the update)
"Lucy, you can't be in the show!"
"WAHHH, but Ricky!"
I Love Lucy is one of my favorite shows of all time. It's perfect and Lucille Ball is fantastic. I love her almost as much as I love Julie Andrews.
Almost.
Uncle Walt:
We miss ya.
Just plannin' EPCOT in One Man's Dream:
Typical Tuesday.
Being at DHS at night is my favorite. There's always some Yard Rock to jam to!
I happen to know a friend of Mr. Morris Mulch and he is a swell guy.
They did a couple Aerosmith covers that night, which was awesome and a half.
After we watched Mulch, Sweat & Shears for a bit, we headed to Endor and walked on Star Tours and then did my personal favorite 3-D attraction, Muppet Vision!
After that we got some iced lattes from The Writer's Stop and rounded out the night with those and the 5th row for Fantasmic, and then a walk-on for Tower of Terror! It was a great end to an awesome night.
Goodnight, Hollywood!
On the bus on the way back to Kidani, someone threw up for the 4th time so far that trip. I don't know WHAT was up the other three times, but this time it looked to me as though the guy was intoxicated.
And on that note, stay tuned until next time!
