best food court at a deluxe?

The deluxes don't really have "food courts." They do have quick service restaurants and sit down restaurants, but no food courts like at the values.

I've only been to Beach Club and Poly. We enjoyed Captain Cook's a lot more than the Beach Club Marketplace. But, the Poly had Dole Whips so it was never a contest.

We have always had very good food and service from the quick service at the Contemporary which is called the Contempo Casual. It is rarely crowded at lunch or dinner and you get the bonus of watching the monorails pass through the resort.

I liked the Beach Club's and there is also Beaches and Cream there, which is a TS, but doesn't take ADRs and it's a nice little diner. I also liked SSR's...they have some yummy choices.

My DH was wondering about booking bw vs the poly and I had remembered getting breakfast there was odd because u just had that small area and not much to choose from! so before we booked next yrs trip I wanted to get the opinions of the disboarders on which was the best! Gotta keep my hubby's belly happy! haha thank u got the quick and helpful responses!

Our only experience with the Deluxes have been at Poly and WL. Between the 2? Captain Cooks at the Poly wins HANDS DOWN in our book!

I lthink Roaring Forks at the wL has a pretty good counter service option. It is much better than what they have at the three Epcot resorts.

I've stayed at all the Deluxes and like Mara at AKL best
They're all fine but Mara is my favorite.

I'm partial to Captain Cooks; Dole Whip Machine, Tiki Toffee, special cupcakes, pork nachos, Aloha pork. So many good options.

Another 1st place vote for Roarin Forks. I think convenience has a lot to do with it. Even staying at the VWL, roarin forks was a lot more convenient than Captain Cooks was to our Tahiti longhouse.

Roarin forks has all your "safe bet" quick meals though.

Both are better than the BW. It's my ONLY gripe with BW overall actually. When I went, BWBakery was closed, so it was a double whammy of edible sadness. (Luckily, the dolphin is a short walk away.)

I can only speak on BW, WL, and Poly though. And leaving anything sit-down out of the discussion.

If quick service is important BWI doesn't cut it. There are a lot of great table service restaurants at BW but no QS. My vote for Maya at AKL. OR Poly

we will be on the DDP and we usually eat probably half of out quick service meals at our resort so having a decent selection is important! I think having the dole whip in the resort may sway my DH to the poly!

Poly & WL are my favorites then SSR, AKL, Dolphin, GF, CR in that order. I will say Captain Cooks can get crazy, wish it was bigger

I actually like the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary. All-time favorite is Capt. Cook's - followed by Roaring Forks at WL.
