Then next is an update from a new reporter who arrived in Orlando today, tammilynne.


She said, "We have arrived in Orlando a day ahead of schedule.. Today we stayed at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort since we are a day ahead of our check in. We will move to Coronado Springs in the morning."

Tonight we had dinner at the Food Court here at the resort at Antonio's Pizza. I was actually very surprised at how good it was!

I love seeing some familiar local DL food choices! Thanks for sharing 1coolnini and 1coolpapa. I love the carne asada there. I'm a fan of the tres leche cake as well. Yum! Surely we'll run into each other there on day!

Thank you. I love seeing DL food choices, too. We often find ourselves eating at the same places each time we visit so seeing photos that others post motivate me to try something new. I am sure we are in the park at the same time occasionally . We often go early Saturday mornings, do some rides, have lunch , then head home ( Yorba Linda) as the crowds are arriving.

We are considering a return visit next May. Both of us liked the "feel" of the Polynesian so may do a CL stay here. Thanks for the photos.

But Paula passed on dessert here, as she had something else in mind for dessert that she would get elsewhere.

Thank you, Paula. I definitely agree with you but the Goofy Son really wants that soup from AP so I have figured out how to work in both. Hopefully it won't be too salty the night we are there!

Your scallop dish does look pretty tasty though!

Checking in from work since the day's almost over and I have nothing left to do. Sorry Paula didn't love AP. It's still one of my favorite Disney restaurants, since I love the flavors of the Pacific Northwest (AP and Jiko are my top 2). You all can have Cali Grill, Flying Fish, and Citricos - I'll even trade Napa Rose to keep AP.

Goat Cheese Sto Fourno - Baked Goat cheese, Pequillo Peppers, Kalamata Olives, artichoke hearts and Greek olive oil


"Flaming cheese - so good!"








"My mom had the steak and she said it was very flavorful but thought it was a little tough (I tried it and thought it was very good and not tough at all)."



"My sister and I had the pork which you can see in the background of my moms steak (somehow I forgot to take a picture of ours). It was amazing!! Cooked perfectly and we loved the zucchini corn pudding and the green beans were cooked but still has a crunch."







Braised Short Ribs over Smoked Feta-Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables


"My oldest had the short ribs and voted them something she would marry if she could. I tried a bite and they were super tender and the feta mash was very good."

"My husband had the seafood stew. It was fabulous and a huge portion, he couldn't finish it and he's a big guy."
