Wow. I can't believe the hassle they gave you about the AP. We had 10 day park hoppers (and dining plan) on our room card. I went to the Epcot Guest relations office outside the park (the one inside the park could not help us) and we were able to "cash in" our park hoppers for a Premier AP. We still had several meals on our room card, but there was no mention of using them up before giving us our AP. We did this 5/24, so I wonder what has changed in the last week. What a problem. However, we used our Premier AP at Disneyland today and evidently the FL and CA parks don't link together, so we had nothing but trouble. Hopefully it will be all fixed by the time we go back.

I'm glad you had an easier time getting AP, but sorry to hear you had problems with it at DL!

This does help.....Yachtsman's is now off the table. I've heard good things about both Tutto Italia and Via Napoli. Out of the two, I'm leaning towards Tutto so I don't have to pay OOP. Thanks!

If on the dining plan you won't have to pay OPP at Via either!

Sangria......yum! Do they sell Sangria to go?

They don't sell it to go unfortunately, and there is no Sangria that even comes close at WDW, Go to Via... you won't regret it

I haven't eaten there, but I do have an ADR for July, am I making a mistake???

DH and I have eaten here 2x. We enjoyed both times

The bar code on the luggage tag has your reservation number tied to it, so you really don't need new luggage tags. You could always take a marker and cross out the old resort name and write in the new one, too, just to be sure. If your reservation number changes, like ours did when we switched from a room only to a package ten days before our check in date, just tell the CM and they will link the old reservation number in the luggage tag bar code to the new reservation number. You can also call the Magical Express service and ask then to send new tags, too.

Thanks for the info! I know I'll be wrestling with myself until we leave, but it's nice to know what to do in case we change our mind. Thanks again!

What is wrong with me? 27 days left and I'm playing with all the ADRs I made 180 days out!

I am so ready for school and most sports (ds will still be playing on the All Star 12 year old team) to end. I am soooo ready for Disney!

Hope to see some of our BC/YC Dis friends at the Dis Meet in the BC Solarium on July 7!

Funny thing is I was still able to get LeCellier for our 4th of July lunch.
I remember when we had to call exactly at 180 days for that one.

The benefit of TIW is that DH and I can each get an appetizer and just split an entree for that lunch.

Made changes twice already. It suddenly dawned on me that my tiny, eats nothing daughter is now 12 and considered an adult. Once I realized that, I cancelled every buffet reservation we had. No way am I paying $40 for her to eat a chicken nugget and a scoop of mashed potatoes.

Not to my knowledge. They do have orange juice, of course.

I'm not a wine drinker, so I didn't pay attention to the types of wines offered in the evening, but I don't rememember champagne. If champagne is offered, you could always ask in the morning.

And report back about your experience!

One little trick for a "poor man's" mimosa- beer and any sort of lemon-lime soda (sprite, slice, 7-up, etc)

Dee- fyi - one of the DIS mods put me in what appears to be the equivalent of a "time out" I give my son, for even asking about the special discount for YC. So please nobody else post about this- and I apologize in advance if anyone else gets or got "punished". I got "30 points" - not quite what that means exactly, and how long those points last?

I have to say I agree with Nanette, I have the "Dumpsters in Wonderland" card and myself, the wife and the kiddies REALLY get the use out of it. It's one thing when you have a picky eater in the family, try having hundreds of picky eaters like you find in my family. Then, at all hours of the day somebody is always hungry. Just think of how many refrigerator light bulbs we burn out in a year!

Even though they might not have "Mimosas" for breakfast Mrs Buzzy is pushing hard for club level so we may have to considerate it for our next stay.

Happy Anniversary and what a wonderful story!

After Sandy Hook the kids and I decided to do one special act in honor for each life lost. The concept came from the Facebook page for the victims of Sandy Hook and they called it Random Acts of Kindness.

I still have two more to go and I purposely left them for my trip to WDW. I created slips of paper has the name of one of the victims and one quote about the victim and I leave one with each random gift.

I'm hoping to find some small Random Acts of Kindness and spread it to my favorite place in the world!

3 1/2 days to go!!!!!

My daughter and her group of 5 just returned from WDW. They dined at the Yachtsman twice and all loved it. They were on the Deluxe DP and tried many places but that was their favorite.
