Free Dining 2013 Part 2 ~ The Sequel

Can I bounce something off you guys?
I LOVE Pop Century. But, with the increase per night there, times three rooms, times 8 nights...I figured I'd try AsMo.
So now I'm toying with the idea of switching to Pop.
My reasons: 1) I've been wanting to get a look at AoA. I think the kids would love exploring it. if we stay at AsMo, we won't take the time to do that, because of the travel involved.
2) AsSp has a closed food court, and the guests will be shipped to AsMo and AsMu to use theirs. Not a HUGE deal, but a consideration.
3) I just want what I want. LOL

so, the difference is around, I think, $250...which is a lot of money for us. Buy a lot of souvies, and all that jazz.

What would you do? [aka...either talk me into it or out of it, because there was still free dining availability.]

Go with where your gut is telling you. If it were me, I would stay a ASMo and use the money for fun stuff. We always spend most/all of our time in the parks, and hate to put extra money where we will only be sleeping. Now if I ever had the luxury of staying at WDW for more than just 6 nights (10 days to 2 weeks would be good), I would stay at a moderate/deluxe resort so I could hang out there and really enjoy it!:upsidedow

Also, this is just my guess, but I am thinking that the food courts at the other two All-Stars will not be that extra crowded. I know if I were staying at Sports (which we usually do), I would find it a BIG hassle to load everybody up to go to another resort just for a quick service meal. Seems like a waste of park time; would only add to more waiting in line for buses. I would do my eating in the park.;)

I moved our reservations from All Star Sports to Movies, because of the Food Court going to be closed when we are there. We do use the food court for breakfast 6 of the 7 days we are there... Chef Mickey for the other breakfast. I know our routine and I just couldn't see going to back and forth to another resort for breakfast when I want to be on the way to the theme parks. I really love the photos of AOA and plan to take an hour or so, one of our days and go there and just look at the fun statues and stuff... and dream that one of these days we can stay there....

WOW!!! You guys were busy while I was out yesterday!!:cool1::cool1:
I managed to clean my garage and closet and have people over for a cookout! Which was all great but no time for FD thread...:rotfl2:

I was just on the phone and the cm told me that their year ends at the end of October and that all of the discounts that were out now would be it through then. She was very sure of herself when saying this. It made me very sad. I specifically asked about more pin codes and she said what was out, was out and not to expect more. She was polite and happy but again, very sure of herself. What do you all make of this?

I have come to the conclusion, that I really don't think they know anymore than we do. It seems like they get there information that morningof the dsct so I am not going to listen to what they say anymore...lol I think peeps on here are more on it!:)

Spent the day at the lake and spending my evening with Bon Jovi...it's no Free Dining, but ...

I LOVE Bon Jovi!!:cool1:

I'm Sitting by the campfire with a beer celebrating my 40th....woohoo!! :)

HAPPY Belated 40th!!:woohoo::woohoo:

I probably would hold off for now and see if there is something you can sell on CraigsList in the meantime to make up the $250 since it isn't in the budget. We constantly find stuff to sell around here....:rotfl2:

Welcome!!:hyper:

Hope everyone has a great day!:cool1:

I believe you can book ME as soon as you have your flight information. You can book all the way up to one full day prior to your arrival, but if you want to receive all the materials in the mail, would book no later than 10 days prior to arrival.:thumbsup2

We're in the UK, so I don't think we get any tags or anything in the mail. I guess we'll be arranging it about January then.

(1000th post!) :dance3:
