I'm Sitting by the campfire with a beer celebrating my 40th....woohoo!! :)

Happy Birthday!!! I'm also sitting by a fire...bonfire. I'll setup a chair and have another beer for you :)

Oh, don't worry about it. It's okay, has happened to many of us. I believe all you can do is just delete your text in edit mode, but it will still show you posted something. At this point, it's all good. : )

Thanks.....I hate to be an annoying Dis poster :)

Do any of you waiting to hear about free dining already have airfare done and REGISTERED for magical express?

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I do! I booked airfare 1st, then booked with Disney. Cheap airfare is harder to come by than the 1000s of rooms Disney has. That's why we are traveling Wed to Wed, flights were cheaper this way.

Personally, I love the Gulf Coast more; in fact, if I am not at WDW, I am there. Sand is finer, waves are calmer, water is clearer, AND the sunsets! The sunsets alone are worth the extra minutes. : )

I'm hoping to get some good ideas for this too. We are planning to go to Clearwater/st Pete area for 2 days after our Disney trip before heading home. What's the best low crowd beach/place to stay near here? We want a suite right on the beach!!

Have a very happy BiRtHdAy!!! Are you doing anything special for this wonderful occasion? You deserve to do something special for YOU!

No nothing at all, we went out to eat over the weekend, but that was it. My kids work on weekday evenings, so we went out early, so we could all go.

To answer an early question that someone posted, we have our airfare and DME booked and are hoping for free dining. We are going whether it is offered or not.

We went to Clearwater last June for a week and I loved it. It broke my heart to be so close to Disney and not go, but it was the perfect beach vacation. :beach:

Google Surfisde condos Clearwater beach - we stayed there in condo 304. It was beautiful, right on the beach. We sat and watched the sunset every night and the beach was clean and never crowded. If you fish, there is a pier close by or you can just fish off the shore - we fished in the morning and evening and caught a ton of different types of fish! We went "shelling" with the kids every morning and found a ton of nice shells. I can't speak highly enough of Clearwater - you will ove it!

Can I bounce something off you guys?
I LOVE Pop Century. But, with the increase per night there, times three rooms, times 8 nights...I figured I'd try AsMo.
So now I'm toying with the idea of switching to Pop.
My reasons: 1) I've been wanting to get a look at AoA. I think the kids would love exploring it. if we stay at AsMo, we won't take the time to do that, because of the travel involved.
2) AsSp has a closed food court, and the guests will be shipped to AsMo and AsMu to use theirs. Not a HUGE deal, but a consideration.
3) I just want what I want. LOL

so, the difference is around, I think, $250...which is a lot of money for us. Buy a lot of souvies, and all that jazz.

What would you do? [aka...either talk me into it or out of it, because there was still free dining availability.]

If $250 is a lot of money to you (as it is to me), stay where you are at. I don't think the traffic at the food court will be changed much. Many are going to end up switching resorts, eating elsewhere or just having cold food, if the are staying at Sports. It really isn't worth the hassle to go to the other All Stars to eat, IMO.

Now if exploring AoA is a big priority to you, I may change my mind, but really how much time are you going to spend over there? If it is that important, take a bus over after one of your shorter days.
