Sorry to hear that... hopefully a little RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) will get it all in order for the wedding. My brother has a weak ankle from years of competitive soccer and he often has to use RICE when his ankle gives out.

Thanks; it felt better during the day...I kept it wrapped. Tonight the top of the foot is killing me...I think it might have been the wrap. I'm icing it now.

Get better and rest that foot. You got a lot coming up!!!!

Mary says we can take it slow if need be. I think with the pool breaks I'll be okay. If it starts bothering me, I'll plant my butt while they are doing something.

Perhaps you need to borrow Aladdin's Magic Carpet...

Do you know when we were at Disney a few weeks ago I did NOT get my GM Slushie!!!! I am going to make up for it in Oct.

Oh no Kathy..must take care of that ankle. Lots of walking coming up!! Hope it gets better soon!!

Lots of walking and dancing; I think I'll be okay in two weeks.

I've got faith in you Kathy... you can do it! I danced at my own wedding with my left foot in a walking boot and I was popping pain killers like candy. I'd had surgery for a ruptured achilles a few weeks before and was just released to walk in a boot without crutches 2 days before the wedding.

Okay...that sounds great. But can I just say that a walking boot will definitely NOT match my dress.

I hope there's nothing seriously wrong with it. Maybe some elevation and some rest for it will do the trick.

No fracture; I'll call the doctor on Tuesday to see how it is after the weekend.

Bob Chin's is the best!!! I have a photoshoot for the Vietnam Vets on Monday. No i don't charge them...

We love Bob Chinn's. We used to take Andy there every year for his birthday...until he got too busy for us. His loss!

Thankfully, Markie's godmother will be there and we used to dance together all the time when we used to go to the disco bar when we were younger. My husband does NOT dance.

Thank you so much; they had two different sets done with two different photographers (the one where they are wearing black and white were done by her mom's friend who is trying to be a photographer; the other set (where Alisha is wearing some shade of red and Mark is wearing the blue shirt) were done by their wedding photographer. I think they both did a really nice job.

I can only post the picture here today because for some reason, without my knowledge, they have closed my Trip Report. I've sent a PM to find out why but who knows when I'll here.

So 20 days and counting.....




And we are down to 12 days until the girls trip.

My trip report was closed because they felt I was done with my trip portion and that the report had become nothing more than personal. I have no problems with this if they were consistent with everyone. Therefore, I am ending my doing reports here on the DIS. I will post updates on my FB account.
