February 24th, 2014 ~*Disney Magic*~ 4 Night Bahamas

DH and I will be on the Magic on the 24th of Feb. 2014. The Magic is our favorite ship and can't wait to see all of the new things.:yay:

Welcome to our Cruise! I love the Magic too, I am excited to see the improvements. I hope our thread gets more posts as we get closer, I learned so much before my last cruise and the FE was so much fun!:hyper:

I was browsing the Internet and came across pics of my cabin (7620), I booked a navigators verandah but 7620 is a partially obs open verandah! I am excited. We did the navigators last cruise too so this is good news for me ! Open verandah and I saved a few bucks ! Yay.
I don't know if I can wait 8 months!!

Okay here is our official info for the fish extender! If for some reason the person organizing can't do it or needs help let me know :)

Cabin 7620 Robyn & Laura & Cole(4)
Cabin 7624 Anna & Rich & Bobby (13)

In case u can't tell I am sooooooo ready to cruise on disney again, to pass the time I have already started my fish extender Gifts!! Crazy I know!:rotfl:

:wave2: My DH & I just booked our first Disney cruise this past weekend! We will be joining ya'll on this cruise! We are bringing our little one for his first cruise! This will be our first disney cruise, but we've cruised Carnival before (would NEVER go with them now). So excited! We will be on deck 7 with a balcony! Woohoo! :cool1:

We have some friends that are planning on booking this week as well!

Hi everyone! just booked yesterday and already getting excited. this will be #4 for us. Can't wait to see the new Magic. Our group will be myself and DH and DD8 and DS/DD 7. Going to surprise DD23 with her first trip! Others coming also but not sure exact count yet. Would love to participate in the FE but fair warning I am not creative so any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi everyone
I'm Vicky and I live in the north east of England.

New to the DIS but we have just booked our first Disney cruise! There will be 9 of us. My dad, my family and my brother's family.

It's also going to be a post Disney princess half marathon recovery party for me my brother and my sister in law.

We would love to in a FE group. i've heard of them but how does it work? We will have 2 families who would join in. Don't think my dad would be too interested ;)

Bye for now!

Hello Magic Cruisers!

I'll be sailing with you on the Magic in February - stateroom 7632! Wow, lots of deck 7 residents around. :cool1:

I just returned from our wedding at WDW and honeymoon cruise on the Dream and I'm officially hooked on cruising. We absolutely loved it, re-booked on board and can't wait to go back. I'm going to be running (and darn it, I do mean faster than a walk) in the Enchanted 10K with Kristen K and her daughter so this cruise will be our post-race party.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Glad to see more cruisers ! I am hoping for a great cruise and FE exchange! I am already working on my gifts. So welcome aboard our Magical Cruise! :hyper:

:cool1: My family will be on our 5th cruise my daughter 14 and son 19 will be joining us so anyone with children of similar age let us know

:yay:So excited to see more cruisers coming on board!

What sort of FE exchange should we do on our cruise? Per room? Per person? Once? or Daily?

:wizard:CajunPrincess - FE (short for fish extender) is a sort of gift exchange that goes on onboard the cruises. If you do a search on fish extender you'll find lots of information.

FE are an exchange of little gifts with our other cruisers that sign up on our thread!
There are a lot of threads on FE on the main cruise thread. As well as pictures of the actual FE u hang outside ur cabin.
It's so much fun. I got lots go goodies on my cruise. Water bottles, ornaments, pens, lanyards oh my:rotfl:

My last cruise we left it up to the person if they wanted to do cabin, person, or how many times they wanted. We had to at least leave a gift once during the 7 day cruise weather it was for the cabin to share or each person.
I think we should wait to see how many cabins we get to sign up and then decide incase we get a lot of cabins. My plan right now is a cabin gift, but its multiple things so I could do a second visit if that's what is decided! I have lots of ideas so I am open to anything.
I have read that some split the groups in 2 if they get too big, I would like to ask if that happens we have the option to be in both groups. That way we can choose to give to all cabins if we want.
Soooooo excited! :yay::dance3:

We are cruising with our son who will be 19 and on the fantasy there were some activities for the 18 to 20 year olds. We were wondering if there are any of these on the Magic? Maybe we could use this forum to get them together so they all will enjoy the cruise. Please post if you are bringing children of this age group and lets see what can be done.:wave2

Hrmmmm... I don't really count traveling with my daughter as bringing a child, but she is my child so I guess it counts. Tori will be 20 during this cruise.

The Magic does have a "Club 18*21 Social" in the evening where the college set can get together, socialize and talk about their plans. I'm sure that she'll hit that up at night. However all guests over the age of 18 are welcome in any of the "Adult Only" areas so there isn't really anything that they can't do on the ship.

I guess you are rite he is not a child so I should refer to him as just my son. Last Feb on the fantasy he enjoyed the college age group i was just not sure about the shorter cruises. My wife and I found it different to be in the same nightclub's as he but he did try to avoid us when he could.
