~~*Official July 2013 Thread!*~~Our Month has Arrived!

Question of the day....What is your favorite Disney memory?

Not sure I could pick a favorite, but the earliest memory of disney I have was when I was 5 years old. I remember it wasn't my first trip. I begged my family to go on IASM for the 500th time so we went but while on IASM we missed the firework show!! ooops! Right after that i remember meeting Ariel in her grotto. I don't have too many original memories from my early trips but i distinctly remember missing the fireworks for IASM.

I am getting excited for this trip!:dance3: This weekend we will be in the 50's, and I know after Memorial Day time is going to fly!!! I have done July before, I am a bit concerned about the crowds. I usually go end of August...I never really have a touring plan, I just hit the headliners first then we do what we want. I feel like I need to be more disciplined this trip.:rolleyes1 Any thoughts?

Oh by the bye, my ticker is wrong...I am surprising the kids a bit and they look over my shoulder sometimes when I post :lmao:

Congrats!!! I can't believe how close we're to July!:cool1:

I know! 57 days to go! Did online check in... Ordered photo pass... Thinking of adding park hopper. Is that a one time fee for the ticket or a daily fee? I can't figure out if we should add it!

I have soooo many amazing Disney memories! I think the ones that stick in my head most are watching my kids dance on stage at the Luau, watching them Belly Dance in Moracco, and when the Cast Members played swords with them in the Pirate of CB gift shop. Also watching my daughter get dolled up at BBB. That was the most magical time of her little life I think.... Anyway, if anyone wants to see all those memories live and in action, look at the youtube video in my signature; I put all those moments in a montage and I watch it when ever I need a Disney fix. I know Im corny, but hey I bet we all are here to a point, right??? lol

Congrats!!! I can't believe how close we're to July!:cool1:

I know !!! Time is flying by. DD school will be out on May 27th and she will start June BB League on the 2nd. June will fly by because I will be working, taking the girls to practice and games. THEN it will be July 4th..

We did too!!!! I need more things to do to keep busy between now and then!

Awesome... All I have to do is buy DD new close for the trip and put everything together - then we are out of here. We can't wait, DD and Lucy are so excited to be going to Disney together. I am so happy for the 2 of them. It will be so much fun watching the girls have a super time together.

Question of the day...What is your favorite hidden Mickey?

WOW!! That is a great question...

Well - I like trying to find them in the bed spreads, sometimes you can find them in the concrete tiles around the swimming pools and find them in the stair landings of the steps at the resorts.

Question of the day...What is your favorite hidden Mickey?

Really like the hidden Mickey on the rock in the lobby of AkL right near Victoria Falls lounge.

Also love the hidden Mickey in the Garden Grill which is a classic Mickey.

My DS loves the hidden Mickey on the table in the ballroom of Haunted Mansion which you can see if you look over the railing.

Favorite Hidden Mickey:

A pile of rocks shaped like a Mickey head in The Living Seas aquarium. And my other fav, on the Viking ship on the wall of Norway. ( I am a bit of a Viking fanatic, so I spend alot of time in Norway. ):goodvibes

I have plans to add!

July 10 - Be Our Guest and MK all day
JULY 11 - EPCOT all day, dinner at ROSE AND CROWN ( my inlaws request)
JULY 13 AK half day
JULY 14th House of Blues and DTD
JULY 16th Holywood Studios in the evening and dinner at PRIME TIME.

Thats all I got. Trying to please everyone has proved to be challenging. But doable.

Does anyone else here love 31 bags? I have a ton I am using for Disney that I got mostly for free and cheap from hosting two parties.... It's not really that big here in NJ yet. But I think 31 totes are perfect Disney bags, personally.

I just got introduced to 31 bags and yes, I love them! I bought a few of the cooler bags to bring to WDW.

Hello Friend - Welcome to the July thread. As you can see we have a Super Leader (Angelee) of the thread.

We will be your neighbor (Staying at AKL) the same time as you and your family will be staying at AKV. We need to meet up just to say Hi. There is another family staying at AKL that we are meeting at the pool.

Dis meets are always fun, to be able to meet friends from all over the country. We certainly have one thing in common (Crazy about Disney)

3 Birthdays WOW!! Mine is on July 16th... Celebrating Birthdays at Disney is the best..
