We will also be going on this cruise. It will be myself, Michelle, DH George, DS Tyler (17) and DD Samantha (14). We are in stateroom 7016. This will be our 6th cruise with DCL. We have also been on The Magic and The Dream. We would also like to join the FE Exchange.

Hi! Our family will be sailing on the Fantasy August 10-17, 2013 also. We took our first Disney cruise last year and loved it so much, we just had to go again this year! Last year we did not participate in the Fish Extender program, but we definitely want to this time. We had the Fish Extenders hanging outside our staterooms but didn't officially sign up to be part of a group. So, I am new to DISboards and the Fish Extender program...what do I need to do from here?

If anyone wants to meet up on Facebook, there is a link that you can do that with: http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/239418719534163/ This might be easier for some people that can't make it to the computer to get on DISBoards as much as they might like. This way we can share information back and forth between the boards to get information to people about changes in either place. I am also going to put a link on FB for those that might not have found THIS FE so they might want to join up if they haven't.

How fun to hear that you fell in love with DCL during your first cruise. We did too!

I am new to Disney cruises, booked my first cruise for the August 10-17 Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy!!! Can't say I've ever been more excited, haven't even told the kids yet! I have been looking into the Disney Tips and Tricks (haven't been very lucky in finding a lot of information), more importantly the Fish Extenders on Pinterest (as well as everything else I can find). I would like to be part of the Fish Extenders and maybe make some new friends who can help me along, being my first time. I have no idea what to do or to expect so any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are on Deck 9 in Stateroom 9648.
In our stateroom there is 4 of us.
Me - 26
Hubby - 29
Ginger Child - 10
Ginger Baby - 5

I'm not sure if there's more information needed, if so I'll be more than happy to provide it.

Most info is on the first post on the thread. Some people make up their own fish extenders, others (the less-crafty amongst us, including me) get somebody from Etsy.com to make a personalised one up for us. If you drag yourself around the forums a bit you'll see many examples of what people give. This is my first FE cruise but was always curious as to what it was all about on our first cruises back in in 08 & 09

The only thing I know that you CAN'T give for the FE's are home baked goods. Anything you bring has to be store bought/packaged.

There are also several facebook groups that have wonderful ideas. I am "kind of" figuring out the DISboards, but for the most part I did a lot of Googling to get things figured out. Just do yourself a favor and don't get overwhelmed. I was starting to do that, but now I am just kind of taking it one day at a time. I don't know a LOT about cruising or doing the FE's as this is my first time, but I will help if I can. You can do a search for Graphics for All Lovers of Disney, Everything Fish Extender, Fish Extender Lovers. Then there is Disney Cruising, Disney Cruise Meet Facebook Groups, and then the one for this cruise is, Cruising to the Caribbean On The Fantasy August 10, 2013. There are a LOT of very knowledgeable people on this Board as well as on Facebook.
