Ladies and gentlemen boys and girls tonigth .......

So, I called Disney Mexico a few days ago, and the dates are official!
The dates are those.

I heard that prices for the tickets are increasing this friday. I haven't made a reservation because I plan to call on the 9th of may and get the free dining plan. My question is this: How can I get a hold of the tickets and still get the dining plan? Do I buy the tickets only in advance? Of must I buy the tickets at the same time while I make my hotel reservations?
Thanks!

You can not apply a free dining discount unless you are booked under a Magic Your Way Package that includes room, tickets and dining. The FD promo will also have a 3 night minimum night stay and everyone on the reservation will be required to have a minimum 2 day base ticket as part of the FD package.

Oh, well..... Thank you! :)

Very frustrating!

It was the room discount. and I was able to save an additional 900 off both rooms now on top of what i thought I saves, whichs was about 1230, so the total discount off the 2 rooms is over 2000. Gotta love that

Doesn't everyone have a Disney Visa? And if not, WHY???? :thumbsup2

I often wonder the same thing. Unless your credit is really bad I don't see any downside to it. You're going to spend the money anyway, might as well get some of it back in rewards dollars. Not to mention the early access to specials.

I thought ticket prices had already increased this year? Or maybe it was just that they were increasing earlier than usual? Will this be twice that the tickets increased this year or just the usual once?

There has not been an increase this year. The last increase was in June 2012.

I don't have one. We only have 2 credit cards: an Amex that we use primarily and a low limit Visa that I use for online shopping. It's not a credit worthiness issue. We just don't like credit cards.
Now if there were a Disney American Express, I would be first in line!

Your reasoning is pretty much exactly why I hesitated to get one myself. I've replaced my Visa with this one (it was with a local bank that I'm no longer near anyway). I agree though, a Disney AmEx would be fantastic (but I've gotten some good deals on the Swan/Dolphin booking through Amex for what it's worth)

:cool1: Called this morning at 8:45 MST and had almost no wait. I was able to book five standard view rooms at POFQ for September 19-29th. All but one room in our party has a Disney Visa so my parent's picked up their deposit. We'd love to go in November instead, but since free dining for the rest of the year doesn't look very promising we're going to go with this.
Thanks for the heads up on this promotion! :flower3: :goodvibes

Disney doesn't release the October - December free dining dates annually until around July, sometimes August. Disney will still need to fill resort rooms during select historical low crowd weeks in Oct - Dec and I haven't seen anything that would lead me to believe they won't release some FD dates for that timeframe.

If I am understanding you correctly, if you book a package with tickets on May 9, you will get the CURRENT ticket prices. The prices will be locked in.

I hope that's what you meant!

Does anyone know if there are any standard view garden wing rooms available at the Contemporary with free dining? I'm holding my breath on this one.....
Thanks!

I just got the email from Disney Visa with the Free Dining offer. 1:22 p.m. EST. Ha! Too late....I was on the phone at 7. :p

I still don't have it, but already booked. Did see it on the website a little bit ago. I've been known to get the email a DAY after I booked.

Just 6 hours late, not too bad for Chase Visa! Not!

You would think a multi billion company like Chase would have some one to update their site and inform their customers in a more timely manner. Ridiculous.

I don't even get an email telling me about it. Can I go somewhere on their site to change that?
