Explosions at Boston Marathon finish line

Well that is the beauty of America we are entitled to our opinions and our own way of thinking. However it is somewhat amusing how judgmental some can be on a message board about each other.
Really? You're the one who joined the DIS less than two weeks ago and jumped right into the Community Board. Hmmm .... :scratchin ... I think you like to :stir: and then :rotfl:.

Yes, it is, isn't it. Hypocrisy is also amusing.

Assuming the spouse is totally innocent I think it is reasonable in a situation like this to expect the surviving parent would move away from the city in which the attack happened to try and give their child(ren) a better life. Maybe even change their last name or, if the surviving parent is the wife, revert to using her maiden name for herself and her children to try and distance themselves more from the event.

Giving the child up for adoption seems like a stretch at this point.

My local news is reporting on Facebook that 3 more suspects have been taken into custody but I can't find any national verification of the story.

I wonder if they are the UMass Dartmouth students in New Bedford that were visited by police and taken in for questioning right after they arrested the suspect? I read that police had scoured a landfill near there looking for a laptop and other items (which they never found).

Stupid kids. I hope it was just them trying to help their friend after the fact and they weren't initially involved.

I can't imagine wanting to help someone that just bombed my city :worried:

"Oh, let's get rid of the evidence because he's our friend" :headache: I know kids can be kind of dumb and naive but... :sad2:

I know. I just think that's better than the alternative. :sad1:

I wonder what story he told them. I can't imagine it was the truth.

No, I'm sure not. But I can't imagine if the news is saying he's a suspect that at 19 years old I'd be all 'oh it's not true? Alright then.' I'd tell them to go to the police station and tell them he's innocent, like that poor high schooler that was targeted as a suspect before they officially released suspects did.
