Thats awesome good luck!!!

Thanks
Faxed everything back yesterday when I checked yesterday afternoon they had all paperwork processed but were waiting for sellers paperwork to submit ROFR.
I will check when contract department opens at 9:00am this morning

Sales managers name is
Allen Schweinberg

If u are still getting poor service I would call him and nicely explain your concerns

I have spoken to Allen on a couple occasions when I called right at 9:00AM and I think he was the only one in the office - even though he does not sell DVC he did everything possible to help me, got several very prompt emails from him and was over all very impressed!

this just gows to show that it may not always be the broker that lags

I just called to see if the seller has submitted there half of the contract yet and they have not and they recieved it on Friday when we got ours.

The Contact deparment was goign to send them an email to remind them, hopeing they did not change their minds or want to raise their price.

I have no patience for those of you that are old enough

I am that vulture in the tee shirt (if you are old enough you'll understand):)

We just got an accepted offer yesterday for BLT. I just submitted my info (name, address, marital status, etc) this morning. Sharon said I should expect contract within 5-6 business days.

I got the whole contract on Friday late afternoon so assume the sellers got there portion also

So we are just waiting for the sellers to fax theirs and then it goes to disney for ROFR

I gotta be patient good luck with that lol

Good luck on your contract.

It is so easy to get caught up in it. We start out each time calm as we don't need points now but then you agree on a contract and there are points expiring soon or banked needing used so you start to think what can I do with these points then it becomes urgent and you get carried away

I hear ya.:faint:
Guess we're not the only ones.

Yup I agree and I have never waited well anyway.
I think the longest 6 month lay a way I have ever had lasted about 9 days:rotfl2:

Now I am starting to play the what if game. Maybe the sellers changed their mind, maybe they decided to ask more money, etc and either way it is out of my hands and I can not do anything about it but still drive myself crazy. I know all that stuff and look at it very matter of fact and still wrap myself around the axle. go figure;)

I waited a week for the sellers to return the contract before it got sent to ROFR. It is annoying.

I'm probably jinxing myself here, but from the ROFR thread, it seems as though Disney is picking up the speed at which they conduct ROFR since many on that thread seem to be getting info one way or another within 3 weeks right now. Hoping that's the case for me and that we hear next week. Like you, I'm anxious.

Good luck on your contract once I get that info behind me I can start to torture myself over air fare and a rental car.
Boy vacation planning is fun lol

So
Here is an update of what’s going on with our contract. The seller has had some things going on with health and being out of town so it is slowing things down
The contract
150 points, 30 banked from 2012 and all going forward. $57 a pp we pay closing seller responsible for 2013 we are responsible for maintenance and taxes starting 2014
The time line
4/15/2013--offer made early evening
4/22/2013--offer accepted (owners out of town
4/26/2013--contract received from Fidelity
4/29/2013--signed contract returned along with deposit
5/1/2013-- notified that seller in hospital and expected to be released on 2 or 3rd and then return signed contract
5/6/2013--called Fidelity they received the contract on 05/06/2013 and would submit for ROFR on 05/07/2013 or 05/08/2013

Wishing for luck :genie::tink:
Let the countdown begin

OMG. I hav zero patience! I would be freaking out with this right now. We are currently working with ****, and the contract was listed Friday, we offered and the seller accepted Saturday, buyers and sellers signed the papers Monday but it turned out that the incorrect title company was listed on the contract. Tuesday the new contract was signed by both buyer and seller and I was told it was sent to ROFR today. It has been 4 days from listing to ROFR and I am already bouncing off the walls. :upsidedow

I know that it's not only having a good broker, but a cooperative buyer/seller that's making this happen so smoothly - but we are HAPPY with who we are working with so far!

GOOD LUCK!!!!! I hope everything runs smoothly for you from here on out! pixiedust:
